Maybe these are on syndication somewhere, but I never hear anything about:
Dharma & Greg Suddenly Susan Mad About You Grace Under Fire (the hell happened to Brett Butler?) Just Shoot Me!

The Drew Carey Show. Huge in its day, yet it rarely gets rerun and due to the licensed music used in there, there's no chance of it streaming or any further dvd releases past season 1. Guess you can say that the Price Is NOT Right for Drew Carey’s old show.

It still has a cult following, but I rarely hear anyone talking much about My Name Is Earl anymore (the fact that it was cancelled on a cliffhanger doesnt help).

Me and my sister still fondly remember the 24 Nail Gun Salute from Home Improvement. A pre-internet meme, along with "My name's not Michael Vaughan, it's" (car crash)" and "Some blankhole found your blankety blanking UFO!"
90% of big TV is like this though. One Foot in the Grave was massive once. Early Edition. Stargate SG1. Eureka. The Second Coming went from lauded for greatest TV this century to mostly forgotten even though it's been one of the most acclaimed scriptwriters this century (Russell T Davies). For every The Avengers or The Prisoner, there's a Randall and Hopkirk or Adam Adamant.

Dont be silly. People also remember it recently thanks to that picture of Scott Adams, Joe Rogan, and Andy Dick. That show really was cursed Poor Dave Foley being in the middle of it. With his marriage and divorce he had every excuse to become a woman hating misogynist but to my knowledge never went there.

Is ER aired anywhere? That was the biggest show in the country at one point Yes. POP tv airs a block of episodes every morning

What about Moonlighting? You’d think a show with Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd would be a given to air somewhere but if it has I haven’t seen it.

I was gonna mention Mad About You, but since it got a revival season a few years back I figured it had to be getting some traction somewhere. Then again, the already discussed Murphy Brown also got a revival season. As for Brett Butler, she was battling massive substance addiction problems throughout the run of Grace Under Fire. Her erratic behavior caused several production delays, both Julie White and John Paul Steuer to leave the show (the kid got one hell of a send off), and eventually the shows cancellation. She was persona non grata for awhile around Hollywood, but she claims to be drug free since 1998 and has since taken sporadic acting roles. That said, she still comes off kinda flaky at times, going back and forth on accusations about whether she was ever homeless, and at one point claiming she had psychic abilities.

This list will likely increase with streaming being so big. Once a streaming show, even huge buzz-worthy ones like Stranger Things, finally ends, another one pops up to take its place, causing the once hot show to rapidly lose popularity. When's the last time you heard someone talk about Orange is the New Black or Bojack Horseman?

I literally had never heard of Brett Butler before she got a show, and never anything about her after the show was over. It's like she fell out of the sky, got a show, then fell into a hole in the earth.

When's the last time you heard someone talk about Orange is the New Black or Bojack Horseman? That's absolutely already the case. "House of Cards" was Netflix's first true mainstream, prestige show. And, granted a lot has to do with who starred in the show, but I don't think a word has been uttered about it since it went off the air five years ago. The same can be said for those sort of "one-hit wonders" show, like "Tiger King." It was an overnight sensation, primarily because it debuted at the right time - when most, if not all of America was entering COVID lockdowns and had nowhere to go and nothing to do. But within weeks, that show lost interest and by the time the "Joe vs. Carole" miniseries aired and the second season of "Tiger King" debuted in late-2021, nobody cared anymore.

Party of Five and 7th Heaven aren’t really being aired anywhere. The former is a bit more surprising because despite perhaps being not too popular during its run, it launched the careers of many well known names. The latter, has become more of a meme these days due to the hilarious squeaky clean values that don’t fit in with the present. Oh the dad being a kid diddler doesn’t help either.

The Dukes of Hazzard was HUGE in its day, but it has been buried pretty deep because of what's on the roof of the car.

I think Home Improvement has more cultural cache than people are giving it credit for in here, but yeah, it's obviously far behind Seinfeld in that regard.
ER, though, yeah, that REALLY evaporated. I know many would maybe blame George Clooney leaving, but ER falling off the cliff with shit like multiple helicopter accidents involving a singular character, etc, really screwed its legacy, as did overstaying its welcome. Grey's Anatomy is inheriting its mantle in real-time by making many of the same mistakes.

Please tell me nothing bad has happened to Stephen Root. To my knowledge a beloved character actor who no one has a bad word to.say about. Probably helps that he's never stopped having work, so he probably doesn't have much to be bitter about, though you could also say he probably gets lots of work BECAUSE he has a good attitude, too, so it goes both ways.

Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family, Northern Exposure, and Webster all ran for SIX seasons.

The 70s and 80s had loads of shows with surprisingly long runs given their infamy and complete disappearance from the cultural landscape.
I mean for god's sake, Small Wonder went four seasons. They got nearly 100 episodes out of that premise.
