L.A. Law had one of the most iconic deaths and now is barely talked about I've always wanted to try watching this show, but to my knowledge it's never been on a streaming service. I don't even think it's on ITunes to buy. I assume part of it is music clearance like other things. Amazon may have it

I'm a little confused by this thread because a good chunk of the shows listed are airing on digital sub channels In the US.

Always had a crush on Maura Tierney, since Liar, Liar. She should have been in more shit. I just like looking at her and hearing her. #NewsRadio #RescueMe #LiarLiar and I dunno what else she was in. She was on ER for a bit.

How I Met Your Mother, I'm looking in your direction. My God that ending.... Holy f**k!!! I tried going back and watch the series recently. I got to the end of Season 2 and I just lost interest and I think it's because of knowing how it ends and not wanting to waste my time again. I still liked it but I didn't want to watch it all again just to get annoyed by the ending. I've never seen a fandom accept an alternate ending as the actual canon like they did with HIMYM.

I'm a little confused by this thread because a good chunk of the shows listed are airing on digital sub channels In the US. I do think a lot of people in the thread are a bit too liberal in their take on the topic. I took it as shows that, after their original run ended, were almost immediately forgotten about. But then shows like Dukes of Hazzard come up, which, while it can be difficult to find nowadays because of various degrees of values dissonance, was a staple in television reruns for like twenty years after its original run ended. I refuse to believe that there are old-school ECW fans on these boards who didn't watch an episode or two on TNN back in the day. And people are also mentioning shows like Lost and ER, which are difficult to rerun because of their formats, but you can't tell me they haven't made a big pop cultural impact that still is relevant today. In the end though it's probably all open to interpretation.

I know it got a reunion movie and sequel season recently (as in, within the last seven years), but you don't see many people talk about Veronica Mars, do you?

People only seem to bring up In Living Color when they want to discuss the early years of Jim Carrey. Now granted, Values Dissonance has pretty much affected other stuff like the Bolt 45 commercial, Handi-Man, and Men On Film (though "hated it!" has become a minor meme), but you'd think that it would have had more influence. Speaking of forgotten sketch comedy, Mad TV. I cant believe it lasted into 2009, but you dont see many people talking about it now, except, once again, to discuss the early days of Artie Lange (The other most well-known cast member, Phil LaMarr, is more known as a voice actor now).

Nicole Sullivan is pretty well known from early Mad TV... I mean there's also Key and Peele (though they were in later seasons) On Sketch Comedy despite most of the group staying together "The State" on MTV rarely gets brought up... mostly due to all the liscencing issues the show had (hey we're on MTV we have access to all these popular songs... this will never come back to bite us in the ass!) edit: For Mad there was also Debra Wilson

Classic might be overstating it a bit but I feel like compared to other pretty acclaimed Cartoon Network shows of its era people barely ever bring up Regular Show anymore. Probably because of how much the later seasons got bogged down in stupid escalation that was kind of missing the point of its weird-ass mundanity and how much it just became about romance drama.

It's still pretty popular on Youtube, I still see video essays on it and stuff. If anything, Steven Universe has started tapering down in popularity from what I've seen.

Does seem like it has fallen off a bit. Kind of in a weird place on SU in that I did largely enjoy it, but I almost entirely look back on it negatively, have no real desire to see it again, and haven't even considered watching Future.

It’s truly remarkable how many hilarious people came from MadTV and yet the show itself was absolutely awful. Partly because their recurring sketches were dogshit. Especially anything involving Michael McDonald, and even he’s been tolerable elsewhere.

That show really was cursed Poor Dave Foley being in the middle of it. With his marriage and divorce he had every excuse to become a woman hating misogynist but to my knowledge never went there. Yeah, he got well and truly screwed in his divorce, they expected to pay her as though he was still the lead on a Must See Tv hit. Saw him recently, though, he’s looking healthy and happy

The Drew Carey Show. Huge in its day, yet it rarely gets rerun and due to the licensed music used in there, there's no chance of it streaming or any further dvd releases past season 1. Is this why Scrub is almost never seen on TV? I always thought it was right next to The Office in terms of quality, but it used a TON of licenced music and the show vanished after a while

I maybe committing heresy here, but I don’t think Boy Meets World has held up particularly well. The first couple seasons were good, the last couple seasons were good-but in between they’re it easy really repetitive. And I’ll go so far as to say they went o et jars on the young Cory’s introduction to sex. Loved the college years of BMW, but i think its 'wholesome family' sensibilities kinda clashed with the risque late 90's. There was an entire story arch about how it would be wrong for Corey and Topanga to have sex before marriage. I think they later abandoned that and tried to be as edgy as TGIF would let you at the time

Little Britain is only darkly muttered about these days due to some offensive sketches: blackface, yellowface, a handicapped man faking it, a cross dresser being the butt of transphobic humour…
Sad stuff but it was the 70s a different time and… no wait the show ran from 2003 to 2006, was massively popular, was a critical as well as a commercial success, had numerous guest appearances from household names and was absent from criticism during its run and only got the “hang on a bit, should we be showing the repeats of this?” epiphany over a decade after it finished.

I was always confused how Little Britain and I'm a Celeb had so little backlash. People finally came to their senses with blackface but the animal cruelty for entertainment show is still going strong.
