Yes, please simulcast it on Max so that we can put the cable ratings discussions dead in the ground.

That "Death of AEW" account is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. And I've seen Gareth.

Please be a Thursday
The drama of another NXT/AEW ratings war is really not needed.

That "Death of AEW" account is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. And I've seen Gareth. At least Gareth went 'Wow Vince McMahon is f***ing horrible please eject him into the sun' when the Grant lawsuit came out. I won't say that earned my respect, but it showed that even cartoons can be real people in some kind of f***ed up Roger Rabbit way.

This thread's been going on so long I've probably said this somewhere, but if they can get on FOX and you get AEW streaming on MAX, that changes the game for everybody. The grifters will have to do some serious goalpost moving because viewership could improve significantly.

Max simulcast also makes cable ratings reports practically irrelevant because it won't factor in any numbers from streaming viewership. Like I know personally if Max's streaming on their ad-free tier has no commercial breaks I'm watching that over the TBS broadcast.

The AEW/Fox negotiations seem to be pretty intense right now.

The idealist says that ratings threads will become obsoleted when simulcast streaming shows up and the obvious reality of the static Neilsen numbers become a fraction of the story. The cynic knows this'll create a whole new crop of guys who pretend not to understand what that means and point out the ratings going down overnight.
We're in for some truly incredible new kinds of guy whose first post is made in a Dynamite ratings thread.

Iâve seen people say thereâs weekly threads for AEW but not WWE because AEW doesnât have a tv deal yet and WWEâs ratings arenât as interesting since their deals are locked up. Weâll see if thatâs true once the deal is done.

Tony to Zaslav if anything last minute comes up: "Bust a deal? FACE THE WHEEL." isn't that more an nwa thing? "bust a coke tv any deal, it's your turn to steal gas from the fans car!" I'll be honest I'd love Tony to have the announcement be that he's "got a new hat" just to keep the zorian "aew tv deal announcement is due any second now..... now.... now!... NOW!....now?... any moment now" going for another week as I want to see how long it is before he has a meltdown over it.

Yeah if AEW has live simulcasts on MAX, I think ratings data will be way less relevant to be talked about so even if a thread is created it wonât get much traction at all.

I really hope we get people earnestly analysing streaming figures like they're 100% accurate and comparable to each other and regular TV. That's going to be fun.

Sean Ross Sapp on The Hump: The [AEW] pay per views will be on Max in some capacity. It was hinted to me that if you have Max you will be able to purchase pay per views in some capacity." Says more details will be made available later on Fightful Select
