I definetly think the grifters have had a negative effect on the perception of AEW.
TK needs to start investing these profits into a good PR team now. Start sending some cheeseboards out.

Anybody would think Tony Khan personally and purposefully ran down some of these guy's dogs with how much they seem to hate AEW and wish for it's downfall. Some of the louder critics are more so clearly because they don't have jobs. Bischoff ripped on Tony when AEW started, was praising him when he got used, then started ripping him when Tony didn't bring him in full time. Bully Ray has openly begged for a job on his radio show a few times. Cornette is just doing a character (both KO and the Bucks have said that they've run into Cornette on the indies while he trashed them publicly and at the shows would excitedly tell them how much money they'd make from their programs together), and Konnan basically is pissed that Tony only wants Vikingo. Like if someone genuinely doesn't care for the AEW product? Fine. If you don't like Tony or people involved with AEW? Fine (though I do side eye when these people take the morale high ground with WWE), but I will just never understand the people who outwardly hope for AEW to die. |

I think AEW is paying for a lot of mistakes they made PR wise in 2022 and 2023. There's a reason why no matter what Tony does there are many semi to fairly reliable journalists that rip him but will ignore anytime someone like Triple H will say something egregious... and that's not meant to be anti WWE just stating a fact. Insiders will rail on Tony for shooting down the Jericho rumors cause they came from Hausman but will ignore Triple H taking shots at Ospreay (just an example). It just all goes back to how things were handled PR wise... it's also from being difficult to book talent for interviews (many insiders said AEW was much more difficult to deal with then but have gotten better), it's coming off as tone death or incompetent in live event bookings, it's having talent have no filters on social media, ect |

This is the most I've ever enjoyed the grifters tbh, the stuff they're coming out with is so nonsensical you can't possibly be annoyed about it, most if it is just genuinely funny.

It's almost like this is actually the point, and getting people to say "I don't hear anything about AEW storylines, I just see people fighting all the time" is part of why this shit is happening. Perhaps, even or especially, from the people who are working with WWE PR toward these aims with their fast nationals or their being writers for political extremist websites. |

Happy for AEW, easily the best wrestling company in the world with the best roster who hopefully will get all the money they deserve coming to them. AEW has so much potential to be the number one company in the world.
