so... which wrestling company has been declared dead more times, TNA or AEW? I have to say TNA, they got multiple Deathwatch/Bigfoot Dance Party threads and... being honest I do not know how they survived every hit they took, the definite cockroach of wrestling, just kept on keeping on and still does. Where TNA was in actual danger multiple times though, idk if AEW ever was once, but grifters just wanted to drum up the clicks and make it look like it was until the deal was set. Only time I think AEW might've been in trouble was dealing with the pandemic so early on in its lifespan, but they handled it extremely well.

Wow it’s crazy that both Conrad/Bischoff and Last/Cornette have fallen victim to the horrible scam of their own YouTube thumbnails that somehow don’t reflect their full content if you listen to the whole thing. How do they keep getting tricked by these poor thumbnail people they are forced to employ?! Poor guys. You mean the guy who put out his geriatric father in law to almost die in a wrestling match might be a grifter?!

Conrad Thompson is a combination podcast host, predatory lender, and wrestling promoter. I don't think this man is capable of running a business that isn't somehow f***ed up and exploitative.

Conrad, chat me up about the time Ric Flair took a suplex and almost died from it live on the PPV you promoted.

Eric wishes he could burn $185 million of someone else's money on having a wrestling PPV at a motorcycle rally. Fixed

And lost their next TV deal in part because the owner called the head of the network a dummy in another email And had to move out of their nice office and into the increasingly stale merch warehouse literally across the street from the city dump And was running a PPV and subsequent tapings in a small town event hall with no running water And had to scam a '90s rock star to stay afloat And was in such a day to day scramble to keep existing that multiple taping blocks almost didn't happen until absolute last-minute funding was secured And hired a pair of actual neo-nazi thugs to run their production by intimidating people who were months back on pay into shutting up Maybe more people by like raw headcount have said AEW is dying because social media is just a total hell place, but TNA was the one actually on death's door, there's no comparison.

I will say though, about Conrad, I always remember a time around 2022 I guess. When AEW was super hot and WWE wasn't and on his show with Pritchard, Bruce asked him for his favourite tv show and Conrad said "Dynamite" and the brief rage silence that followed. Which I could find that clip again

Dixie Carter makes Paul Heyman look like Donald Sutherland in Horrible Bosses.

Good lord, the discourse™ from both sides of the weird tribal wars on twitter is just beyond tiring. Do these people really have nothing else in their lives?

Don't forget insulting Spike by not taking the deal they set up with their sister network because they wouldn't give Dixie Carter a reality tv Show.

I never wanna hear any idiot say they're running out of money ever again.
Tony Khan could literally spend each week of TV for the next 5 years lighting half a million dollars on fire and still profit.
