Yeah, wrestling bullshit is the source of all of this drama, so I don't think having a wrestler be the one to fix it is the answer, here.
I hate to say this, but what AEW REALLY needs is a cold-hearted corporate type to be the heavy. Not "good guy" Tony Khan, not Mark Henry, not Christopher Daniels. We're talking like MBA-having, boring as hell, "The talent are just instruments this company uses to make money" number crunching sociopath to be the bad cop to TK's good cop.
In other words : he needs Nick Khan.
Someone like a Nick Khan who works with a scalpel instead of a chainsaw is just a necessary evil once a company gets big enough. I hate that that's true, but it kinda is in my experience.

Truthfully and if I can be honest I actually hate to see this...
I had no idea who Tony Khan was until this company started and my visual of him was as a money mark for the wrestlers...
Unfortunately some of that has been accurate but it's also very sad to see as I have also seen that Khan is by in large a really good dude and truly just wants the best for everyone around him even when he picks sides...
I have worked in corporate america my entire life and Khan is the dream type of owner to work for but he should not be day to day management as well.
Vince's 1 man show was built out of narcissism as is most successful owner/manager/coaches/etc that take the responsibility of it all with no remorse...
Khan just doesn't have that hatred to be those men and that is wonderful but until he is seen as someone who stands his ground he will stay on skates...

One of Tony’s problems is that he is roughly the same age (or younger) than most of his wrestlers and he was a fan of them first and then went into business with them second. That is almost never a recipe for good things to happen. That said being a grown-assed one man cheerleading squad for another grown man backstage is BITCH behavior. There’s no way around that. LMAO I can only imagine how hard that Paul Heyman will bilk him if he were to ever work there. 😂 He bg thing is that it never was a issue or at least a noticeable one until CM Punk. It's clear CM Punk is his favorite wrestler ever. Never meet your heroes.

I love the idea of Tony being the good boss, I really do. Let him be the good guy all day. Let him toss out bonuses like they're candy, let him take care of families after tragedy. I love all of that. Let him keep doing that.
I'm only speaking from MY experiences in the corporate world here, but Tony does not want to or does not know how to be "the boss" when it calls for it, even though I truly think he's a smart enough guy to know when something is bad and needs dealt with.
So hire a corporate suit to be his hammer so he doesn't have to be the bad guy, and problem solved. He doesn't have to live for confrontation and screwing people like Vince does, he can hire someone to be his instrument of vindictiveness instead.

I've never really been keen on the "money mark" label for Khan considering he's still running a very successful business.
Money Marks are typically people who have money, but no business sense, and they blow it goofily. Herb Abrams is probably the most notable example.
Still, the CM Punk stuff does sometimes skirt the line.

Khan got a loan from his father but by all metrics he has his own money and AEW's been making money As much as the Punk stuff is a pain in the ass, Tony Khan does know what he's doing on the business end, he's just too emotionally compromised with this dude.

Yeah, Dixie's one, of course. I think the only reason I didn't jump to her was her doing really scummy shit to the wrestlers, too, so she was half-money mark, half-dirtbag promoter.

I think the most mindblowing thing about Impact's continued survival is that it was only able to exist due to Panda Energy and yet it's outlived it.

You got to love that, on a show where Jeff Jarrett won the Texas Chainsaw Massacre title in a deathmatch with Jeff Hardy, the most absurd thing that happened is that Tony Khan admonished a group of wrestlers for fighting backstage.

For a guy who doesn’t know how to be a boss, he’s had a pretty great year business/results wise with all the ventures he’s involved in (team in NFL, team in EPL and AEW)
