Anyone else kind of hate the playoffs? I'm dreading the two-plus hours that the Bruins are playing tonight. Like, I was relieved when I checked the schedule and saw yesterday that they had the day off.

Few things. 1) I'd like to know in what universe *Brad Marchand* gets any kind of special treatment by the officials/ 2) Whining about the officials in an attempt to work them for game 4 on a night where the Leafs got 4 straight power plays ( Albeit, the 4th was cut short by a penalty on Tyler Bertuzzi, but still...) and 5 overall to Boston's 3 (1 of these coming on a delay of game for putting the puck over the glass) is certainly a ballsy choice. 3) Your power Play is 1-11 this series. Less whining. More work on fundamentals. I get that it's gamesmanship, but the guy looks soft as puppy shit right now |

The Islanders so far has shown so far to be gutless team, really disappointed in them. They're a sub 500 team going up against a very loaded Hurricanes team. Gutless is a little strong. |

Welp, the Islanders weren’t too gutless today getting a 2ot win and avoiding a sweep. Gutless would be the first seed getting stomped by a Wildcard team. I’m not talking about anyone in particular though  |

Damn. Can't even be super mad. Thompson played his heart out but when you give up nearly 50 shots eventually one is going to get through. Time to regroup and on to Monday

Even the home games in Dallas were later than the regular season games usually were. That said bless you Wyatt Johnston. |

With the crushing weight of actually living up to the hype, you would hope that Auston Matthews' illness is something serious like malaria because man he's been questioned to be soft and sitting out an elimination game in hockey is a cardinal sin. Guys have gutted it out with separated shoulders, torn ligaments, broken ribs, broken hands, Chara had that broken jaw.
And then they go out and win. Phew, that's a tough look. Good for Tavares though. He really pushed the defense and made something happen. Knies in the right place at the right time.

Leafs looked good tonight but I saw the dialogue starting that Leafs are better without Matthews.
