News and NotesHogan: Out to Finnish BorgaSince coming to the WWF Ludvig Borga hasn't minced words when it comes to how he feels about the United States of America. The Helsinki Hellraiser has ran down the USA and it's "inferior" athletes any chance he can. Unfortunately so far nobody has been able to shut the Mighty Finn up. Sick and tired of Borga's insults towards his country, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan would recently make a stand for the red, white, and blue. At the last Saturday Night's Main Event though the younger and stronger Borga would prove to be too much for the Hacksaw, defeating him after a punishing flying clothesline. Now Borga is setting his sights on another patriotic American in the living legend, "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan. On a recent episode of Raw Vince McMahon conducted an in ring interview with Borga. During the interview Borga would refer to Hogan as the back bone of America and then when they faced in the ring that he would break it. This would bring Hogan out to the ring who challenged Borga to a fight right then and there. Borga would then state that they would fight when and where he said before leaving the ring. As it turns out Borga wouldn't pick a fight during a straight up face to face situation but instead chose a opportunity to cowardly ambush Hogan. On the next weeks Raw Hogan challenged new WWF World Champion "The Narcisist" Lex Luger for the title. Right when it looked like Hogan was about to hit the legdrop and capture the title an unprecdidented fifth time, Borga would come down to ringside and start menacing Hulk's manager, Jimmy Hart. Hogan would leave the ring to defend his manager and begin brawling with Borga which would then cause a disqualification. During their fight Hogan was starting to get the better of Borga until he was ambushed by Luger who nailed him with the loaded running forearm from behind. Luger would then leave while Borga would pick the bones as he then hoisted Hogan up in a torture rack backbreaker with a swarm of officials having to force him to relinquish the hold. As it turns out Hogan wouldn't have to wait long to get Borga in the ring as a few days prior it had been announced that at the Survivor Series Hogan would lead his team of All Americans comprised of Duggan and The Steiner Brothers to take on The Foreign Fanatics which would consist of Borga, former WWF World Champion Yokozuna, and current WWF Tag Team Champions The Quebecers. Or at least that's what it was originally scheduled to be. On the October 30th Superstars Borga took on Duggan in a rematch from Saturday Night's Main Event. Borga dominated most of the match but struggled to put away a determined Hacksaw. Eventually Duggan would launch a furious comeback but Borga would snuff it out after ducking a three point stance clothesline attempt and backdropping Hacksaw out of the ring. Mr. Fuji, the manager of Yokozuna, would then come down to ringside and distract the referee so then Yoko could come down and hit a massive legdrop on Duggan. Yoko would roll Duggan into the ring where he was then pinned by Borga. After the match Borga would hold Duggan down as Yokozuna delivered two banzai drops. Hogan would eventually manage to fight through the Quebecers and rush to the ring to save his friend but the damage had been done. As it turns out The Steiners had been padlocked in a room backstage so they couldn't help. It was all a Foreign Fanatic conspiracy. Duggan would be stretchered out of the ring and it was later announced that he would not be able to be at Survivor Series. However as it turns out The Foreign Fanatics plan to eliminate All Americans before Survivor Series would back fire. On November 13 episode of Superstars The All Americans would announce The Undertaker as Duggan's replacement, making their team even stronger. The All Americans were back in business as with the man from the darkside on board they now have someone who can match up with Yokozuna, while The Steiners look to get even with The Quebecers, and Hogan looks to settle the score with Borga. What will happen at the Survivor Series when these two awesome teams collide in an epic battle of national pride. Reshuffling The DeckEarlier in the year manager Harvey Wippleman had high hopes that he would rule the WWF after his acquisition of Giant Gonzalez and Mr. Hughes. However with 1993 still not even in the books, Wippleman is now no longer managing either and is in rebuilding mode. Hughes would part company after finding higher bidders in Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and WWF World Champion "The Narcissist" Lex Luger while serving as a bodyguard to the latter. Meanwhile Gonzalez split from Wippleman wouldn't be as amicable. After his manager accidentally cost him a match against The Undertaker at the last Saturday Night's Main Event, Gonzalez would kick Wippleman to the curb by giving him a chokeslam. However Wippleman still owned Gonzalez' contract and with his Giant now wanting nothing to do with him, was looking for takers. Meanwhile Adam Bomb was beginning to become disenfranchised with his manager, Johnny Polo, as he felt Polo was spending too much time on his new acquisition, WWF Tag Team Champions The Quebecers, and neglecting him. With both having disgruntled wrestlers in their camps that both wanted out, Polo and Wippleman would make a deal and come to an agreement that would settle both of their problems. Polo and Wippleman would make a trade with Wippleman sending Gonzalez to Polo straight up for Bomb. In the case of Bomb and Wippleman it appears the deal is working out well so far. Wippleman has high hopes for Bomb who is now happy being a manager's top priority again after being put on the backburner by Polo. On the other hand the Gonzalez and Polo union would only last one match. On Wrestling Challenge in the Giant's first match with his new manager he would easily defeat young PJ Walker with a chokeslam. After the match Polo would instruct Gonzalez to give Walker another chokeslam. However Polo would get a little too pushy with his new client who then decided to chokeslam Johnny instead, ending their partnership after just one match. Gonzalez contract would then be sold again as Polo would then sell him to another manager. On the following weeks Wrestling Challenge Adam Bomb would easily defeat Mike Davis with the Atom Smasher. After the match Wippleman would instruct Bomb to do it again. Unlike Gonzalez, Bomb would have no problem agreeing to his new managers demand to dish out more punishment and delivered another Atom Smasher. Bomb would then start to set up for another one when Gonzalez came down to the ring with none other then the Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart. Bomb and Wippleman would flee the ring not wanting anything to do with the almost 8 feet tall Gonzalez. Hart would grab the microphone and announce that he was the new manager of Gonzalez and challenged Bomb to take on his Giant right then and there. Bomb started to go into the ring but was stopped by Wippleman who then ushered his new investment to the back. It was later revealed that Wippleman had been taking advantage of Gonzalez the whole time he managed him, taking 75% of his financial earnings knowing the Giant, who grew up poor in a small village in Argentina called El Chilten, would go along with it. However now with a new manager that actually has his best interests and that will treat him fairly, Gonzalez is eager to get further revenge on Wippleman for all the mistreatment he suffered from him by taking out the man he replaced him with, Adam Bomb. At Survivor Series Gonzalez will have his chance as him and Bomb will be on opposing teams as Gonzalez teams with Bret and Owen Hart and Randy Savage to take on Bomb, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler, and Mr. Hughes. News and NotesLiving in the ShadowBeing the younger brother of Bret "Hitman" Hart hasn't been easy for Owen Hart. Bret has done it all in the WWF. Two time WWF World Champion, two time WWF Intercontinental Champion, two time WWF Tag Team Champion, 1993 King of the Ring. The Hitman has a resume that is second to none. With Owen despite having a lot of ability it just hasn't come together for whatever reason. Perhaps being Bret's brother and living up to the Hart name and the expectations that come up with have put to much pressure on the youngest Hart? Not helping matters were "The Narcissist" Lex Luger and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan who have ridiculed Owen and called him "the shadow". As a result insecurities have began to come to the forefront for Owen. After Luger defeated Bret for the WWF World Championship, Owen would challenge the new champion to a non title match to get revenge for the Hitman while also making it clear that he would prove he could do something his brother couldn't do and beat the Narcissist. Owen fought valiantly but was eventually defeated after Luger countered a crossbody attempt and turned it into a powerslam. After the match Owen was double teamed by Luger and Mr. Hughes until big brother Bret came to the rescue and sent Luger and Hughes fleeing. At the Survivor Series Owen would get another chance to shine when he was on Bret's team, The Hitmen, also consisting of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Giant Gonzalez to take on the team of the Elitist's which was comprised of Luger, Hughes, Adam Bomb, and Jerry "The King" Lawler. The Hitmen would eliminate Hughes, Lawler, and Bomb and take a three to one lead with Luger outnumbered against Bret, Owen, and Savage. Owen played a big part in his team's success as he kept the Elitists of balance with dazzling ariel tactics while also pinning Bomb after a sensational top dropkick. With a comfortable lead it looked Owen was going to get the biggest win of his career by surviving the match with his brother. However Luger wouldn't not go down with a fight as he managed to thumb Bret in the eye with the disoriented Hitman tagging out to Owen. However as Bret was regaining his composure on the apron Owen would accidentally run into him while bouncing off the ropes, sending Bret crashing into the guardrail down below. Luger would then roll up a stunned Owen to eliminate him from the match. Afterwards Owen was visibly upset afterwards and yelling at his brothers for causing him to be eliminated before leaving. Bret and Savage would end up surviving after Luger tucked his tail between his legs and retreated to the back, getting counted out. Owen would then return where it looked like to congratulate the winners but instead shoved Bret and yelled at him with Savage and Gonzalez having to restrain him. Shortly after Survivor Series Owen voiced his displeasure of always living in Bret's shadow and challenged his brother to a match. Bret has refused the challenge, letting it be known that under no circumstances would he ever fight his brother. As for now Bret will to put any family problems behind him as coming up at Saturday Night's Main Event Blizzard Brawl he will be going against Hulk Hogan in a World Championship number contenders match. This has been a dream match fans have been waiting to see for quite some and will surely live up to all expectations. A Friend in Need is a Friend IndeedOver the last few weeks "Macho Man" Randy Savage has had his share of problems with WWF World Champion "The Narcissist" Lex Luger and Mr. Hughes. On Monday Night Raw Savage took on Hughes with the match ending in a disqualification after Luger interfered and aided his bodyguard in beating down the Macho Man. Savage would challenge Luger for a match the following week with the Narcissist accepting but on the condition that the title wouldn't be on the line since he felt Macho Man didn't deserve one considering he defeated him the last time they fought at Summerslam prior to Luger winning the title. Once again the match would end in a disqualification with Hughes interfering this time and Savage once again falling victim to a two on one assault. Tired of being outnumbered Savage would ask for a tag team match at Saturday Night's Main Event Blizzard and revealed that his partner will be Crush who will be making his return to ring after making a miraculous recovery from the brutal beating he sustained a few months ago from Yokozuna where he sustained four banzai drops. Crush has assured Savage that he will have his back and take care of Hughes so Savage can have Luger all to himself. Will the Narcissist and his merciless bodyguard once again get one over on Savage or will be Crush be the ace in the hole that aids the Macho Man in beating the champion and potentially getting back into title contention? Million Dollar CorporationConspicuous by his absence the last three months or so has been the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. Recently Dibiase made his return to the WWF but it will be in a different capacity from what we've seen him in the last six years. As a result of serious neck injury suffered in his match with Razor Ramon at Summerslam, Dibiase has retired from the wrestling ring and will now be a manager. Dibiase claims he's starting a corporation where he's going to use his immense wealth to buy the greatest collection of talent to rule the WWF. Dibiase hasn't wasted any time in starting his corporation as according to him he's already found one man who had his price and that soon this man will be revealed. Michaels Suspended: Intercontinental Championship VacantAs a result of not defending his Intercontinental Championship in over 30 days, WWF President Jack Tunney has stripped Michaels of the title and suspended him for 30 days. As a result an eight man tournament will take place to determine the new champion. First round matches will take place on Superstars and Wrestling Challenge, the semi final matches on Monday Night Raw, and the finals will be held on Saturday Night's Main Event Blizzard Brawl on December 18th where a new champion will be crowned. First Round Matches will be: Razor Ramon vs. IRS Mr. Perfect vs. Bam Bam Bigelow Marty Jannetty vs. Rick Martel Tatanka vs. Adam Bomb DeparturesRepo Man and Giant Gonzalez are no longer with the WWF. News and NotesA Crushing Betrayal"Million Dollar Man" Dibiase had stated he had a man bought and paid for that he was going to start his corporation with and at Saturday Night's Main Event fans were stunned when it was revealed that the man was Crush who turned on his friend "Macho Man" Randy Savage and sold out to Dibiase's money. On Monday Night Raw Crush would have an in ring interview where he explained his actions. While he was out recovering from being injured by Yokozuna it was Dibiase who paid for all of his hospital bills. Also the Million Dollar Man made sure that he had the finest training at the finest facilities money could buy while rehabbing his injury. Crush also said that Dibiase finally made him see the light when it came to Savage, making him realize that the Macho Man was just using him and was also jealous of him. Crush also blamed Savage for his injury, sitting at the commentary and waiting until after Yokozuna banzai dropped him four times to finally help him, ignoring the fact that Savage's contract as a commentator states that he can't physically get involved with any WWF superstars and could be suspended if he did so. It's obvious that the young and impressionable Crush has been blinded Dibiase's money and delusions of grandeur, turning his back on the fans that supported him and his best friend over greed. Once a happy go lucky and pleasant individual, the new Crush has become a ruthless killer under Dibiase's tutelege. Crush is no longer just content with winning matches, he also wants to end his careers. On top of that he now has a new finishing maneuver as he's ditched the Kona Compactor head vice in favor of the Million Dollar Dream, which was Dibiase's finishing move when he wrestled as he's now taught Crush how to execute the punishing maneuver. Always hot tempered, Savage had been chopping at the bit since Saturday Night's Main to get even with Crush. On Monday Night Raw Savage was doing commentary like usual along with Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Despite pleas from Vince, Savage couldn't control his anger anymore when he saw Crush walk out to the ring for his match with Dibiase. Savage threw Vince aside and attacked Crush in the aisle, beating down his former friend and slamming him into the guardrail. The two former friends would continue to brawl until officials broke it up. Later on the fight would continue as Savage would attack Crush backstage with officials once again having to restrain both men. At the Royal Rumble both men will have a chance to get their hands on one another as both are scheduled to be two of the thirty participants in the 30 man Royal Rumble match where all hell will surely break loose if their paths ever cross. Harts UnitedAt Saturday Night's Main Event Blizzard Brawl a number one contender was supposed to be determined when Bret Hart took on Hulk Hogan. However instead no top contender was determined from that match as it ended in a count out after Bret's brother Owen got involved. As a result WWF President Jack Tunney has now declared the top contender to be The Undertaker who is definitely deserving of a championship shot, especially after his impressive victory over Yokozuna. Undertaker will get his shot at the Royal Rumble when he takes on WWF World Champion "The Narcissist" Lex Luger. Meanwhile Bret has put his World Championship aspirations on hold to go back into the Tag Team division. Over the holiday season Bret patched things up with his brother Owen and the Hitman has said that he is now dedicating his career to teaming with Owen and that they will win the WWF Tag Team Championship. After a string of impressive wins over Well Dunn, The Headshrinkers, and The Steiner Brothers; the Harts will get a tag team title opportunity against The Quebecers at the Royal Rumble. Double JComing to the WWF from music city is "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is a second generation wrestler who grew up in the wrestling business. However despite being a very talented wrestler, Jarrett's true passion is country music. Jarrett claims that he has more talent Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Alan Jackson put together. However despite all this great talent he claims to have, Double J can't catch a break. Jarrett believes it's due to being a local boy and the corrupt politics of the country music business. Jarrett's plan to obtain superstardom in country music is by using the WWF. Jarrett believes that by using the WWF as a platform to gain fame and fortune with his wrestling talent that it will open in door back in Nashville and that all the top record labels will come begging and pleading for him to sign a contract and that when it's all said and done that both the greatest wrestler and country music singer of all time will be "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. News and NotesCollateralOn December 18th at the Saturday Night's Main Event Blizzard Brawl PPV Razor Ramon fulfilled a dream by becoming the Intercontinental Champion after defeating Rick "The Model" Martel in the finals of a grueling eight man tournament. However Razor has quickly learned that being champion makes you a marked man in the WWF. Every one is gunning for you because you have what they want. It just comes with the territory. Perhaps the two biggest threats to Razor and his title are former Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels and his bodyguard Diesel. Michaels who was stripped of the title by Jack Tunney and suspended for a month after failing to fulfill contractual obligations of defending his championship in 30 days, has now returned after serving his suspension. Michaels claims that he still the true champion since nobody ever beat him and that Razor is a fraud. On top of that Michaels never returned his title belt after being stripped and is claiming that it's the real championship. Recently on Monday Night Raw Michaels took on The 1-2-3 Kid who "stuck his nose in his business" after coming to the aid of Razor as he was being attacked two on one by the Heartbreak Kid and Diesel. While the Kid fought valiantly he was overmatched by more experienced Michaels. Michaels seemingly had the match with a piledriver but then decided to pull up the Kid at two to punish the youngster more and teach him a lesson. Then to send a message Michaels hit a Razor's Edge, the finishing maneuver of Razor. Michaels would then attempt another Razor's Edge when Ramon then came down to ringside and pulled his friend out of the ring to save him from further punishment. Michaels wound confront Ramon and slap him in the face. Michaels would retreat up the aisle way with Ramon giving chase. However as Michaels got close to the curtain he tripped. Ramon thought he had the Heartbreak Kid dead to rights but in reality he was falling right into a trap as Diesel then emerged from the curtain and leveled the Bad Guy with a right hand, knocking him senseless. Michaels would then give Ramon two Razor's Edge's on the concrete floor to leave him laying. Making matters for Razor is the fact that he's also no longer in possession of the gold chains he always wears proudly around his neck. During the melee Ramon took his chains off while giving chase to Michaels. However as Ramon was dealing with Michaels and Diesel it was later revealed that Irwin R. Schyster took the chains and is now holding them ransom in his metal briefcase. The tax man would use the chains as collateral for Ramon giving him a title opportunity. Ramon has agreed to give IRS a title shot and it will happen at the Royal Rumble on January 29th where all the gold will be on the line. Pedal to the MetalOn the fast track to the WWF is Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly. The two sport athlete from Talladega, Alabama is both a wrestler and a stock car racer. Whether it be on the race track or in the wrestling ring, Holly's mentality is the same. Wide open and pedal to the metal! Holly is a risk taker who likes to chances. In the ring he goes at his opponents with reckless abandon with high risk maneuvers. These chances may lead to him to hitting a wall. However these same chances could have him in victory lane in no time! Just When You Thought It Was Safe: Earthquake Returns to the WWFAfter a year away Earthquake has returned to the WWF. Over the last year the Quake has been sharpening his skills by wrestling primariliy in Japan and has now decided to return to the WWF. Earthquake was one of the most dominant and feared wrestlers during his last tenure but during his time away other superheavyweights such as Yokozuna and Bam Bam Bigelow have arrived on the scene and really made their mark. Earthquake would like to get into the ring with either of these men to prove that he is the top dog when it comes to big men in the federtion. On January 29th Quake will have his chance as he will be part of the 30 Man Royal Rumble Match in which he has to be considered a big favorite.

News and NotesRoyal Rumble ControversyThe Royal Rumble had an ending nobody could've seen coming as for the first time the Royal Rumble had two winners. In the end it ended up boiling down to Hulk Hogan and Bret "Hitman" Hart. Hogan picked Hart up and went to throw him over the top rope but Hart held onto the rope with the momentum taking both men over the rope and down to the floor where they hit at the exact same time. After referee's Joey Marella and Earl Hebner argued who hit first, President Jack Tunney would make the decision that both Hogan and Hart were co winners. That left every one with the question of who would be going to Wrestlemania to get the World Championship shot against Lex Luger? Well it turns out both Hart and Hogan will get their shot at Mania. A coin toss will soon be held to decide who will get the title shot first in the evening with the loser of the toss getting their shot later. However to make things fair the loser of the toss will also have to wrestle another match before their title shot so then that everyone will have to wrestle twice thus putting all three competitors on a equal playing field. If Hogan loses the toss he will face Yokozuna, who he would like to get even with after controversial defeat of Hulk at King of the Ring due to outside interference. If Bret loses he will have to face his own brother, Owen, who recently betrayed him at the Royal Rumble. Kane and AbelAt the Royal Rumble jealousy reared it's ugly head when Owen Hart betrayed and attacked his own brother, Bret, after they failed to win the Tag Team Championship from The Quebecers. Bret was going into the match with a bad knee and would further injure it after The Quebecers manager, Johnny Polo, pulled down the second rope causing the Hitman to spill to the outside. The Quebecers ruthless attacked the knee but the Hitman would finally be able to get some breathing room when he was able to move out of the way of the Tower of Quebec. Instead of making the tag though Bret would decide to try to put the sharpshooter on Pierre. However Bret couldn't get any support on his knee to apply the hold and crumpled to the canvas with the referee then deciding to stop the match and reward the bout to The Quebecers. After the match Owen would scream at his brother for being selfish and then kicked his leg out from under him when he began to get to his feet to knock him down before storming off to the backstage. Both Hart Brothers were scheduled to be in the Royal Rumble match later in the night but it looked doubtful Bret would even be able to compete with the state of his knee. Owen was eliminated early in the contest and then seethed as he watched Bret gut his way through his injury and co win the match with Hulk Hogan to earn a WWF World Championship at Wrestlemania. However while he has earned a title shot Bret will still have to go one on one with Owen on the same night. Owen also recently revealed that he has a new manager in the form of "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase who many, Bret included, think has been Owen's ear for quite some time. Owen has turned his back on his entire family over jealousy and greed. As the saying goes Owen has made his bed and will have to lie in it now. And he might have a tough time sleeping in it after his brother gets through with him at Wrestlemania. Kid and Jannetty: New ChampionsOn the January 31st Monday Night Raw The Quebecers put up their Tag Team Championships on the line against the underdog duo of The 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty. The Quebecers riding high after their big win over the Hart Brothers two nights before at the Royal Rumble, figured the match would be a cake walk. Instead they would be defeated by the upstart duo after a sensational double team move in which Jannetty hoisted Pierre up in a suplex with the Kid then hitting a top rope crossbody to score the pinfall and win the championships. It's easy to hold the Quebecers manager, Johnny Polo, responsible for the loss with his foolish decision to sign a title defense for match just two days after the Royal Rumble where they were also defending the titles in a tough match. However Polo has been critical of Jannetty and the Kid for months and didn't think they would pose a threat to his champions. Fortunately for Polo and The Quebecers they have a obligatory rematch clause and will invoke it at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event on February 19th where they will also have homefield advantage as the event will be held in Montreal, Quebec. Will Jannetty and Kid be able to once again upset The Quebecers by beating them on their home turf? Or will the clock strike midnight on this Cinderella story? Beast TriangleOn the January 10th Raw The Smoking Gunns took on the newly formed team of Bam Bam Bigelow and Bastion Booger. Despite their lack of tag team experience Bigelow and Booger would use their girth to gain control of the match until Bastion hurt his back after being whipped into the turnbuckle and had to tag out. As Bigelow tried to fend off both Smoking Gunns in the ring, Luna would tend to Booger's back by rubbing it. Bastion would become smitten by this and began to continuously hug Luna even after she had slapped him. Bigelow, irate at Booger for going after his main squeeze, would attack Bastion with the two behemoths trading punches and in the process getting counted out and losing the match. This unlikely love triangle will be featured on the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV when Bigelow, with Luna in his corner, takes on Booger. DeparturesMr. Perfect is no longer with the WWF.
