News and NotesThe Bad Guy Turns GoodOne man in the WWF who has gone through some big changes in the last few months is Razor Ramon. In a surprising turn of events the once loathed Bad Guy has turned into a big fan favorite. Things began to change for Ramon on the May 31st Monday Night Raw when he suffered a shocking upset loss to preliminary wrestler Sean Waltman who now has become affectionately known as the 1-2-3 Kid. Embarrassed Ramon would offer the Kid $2,500 to get back in the ring with him with the Kid refusing. However when the wager was upped to $5,000 by Ramon it was an offer too good for the Kid pass up and he agreed to face Ramon in a rematch on the June 28th Raw. Ramon ruthlessly pummeled the Kid while making no attempt to cover him, instead wanting to punish the youngster for all the humiliation he had put him through. However once again Ramon's overconfidence would prove to be his downfall as he took too long setting up for a back suplex off the top rope with the Kid elbowing him in the face and hitting the moonsault, which is how he had defeated Ramon the last time. This time though Ramon kicked out and then violently threw the Kid outside the ring. Ramon would then pull up the blue mats to expose the concrete floor outside the ring and attempt to Razor's Edge the Kid on it. Remarkably though the Kid would backdrop out of it and then hit a sensational dive from the top rope all the way down to the floor. With Ramon reeling the Kid would then take the sack of money and run out of the arena. Razor chased after but the Kid was able to escape by jumping into a waiting get a way car, leaving Ramon once again humiliated. Ramon's woes would continue in the coming weeks as he went on a losing streak; dropping matches to the likes of Bret Hart, Tatanka, and Crush. The once ultra confident man who always claimed to be oozing machismo was now becoming riddled with self doubt. Even Razor's fellow rulebreakers and so called friends that he shared a locker room with were turning their backs on him. Always one eager to kick a man while he's down, "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase along with his partner Irwin R. Schyster began insulting Ramon for his recent troubles, even offering him a job working for them as a domestic. Eventually Ramon had heard enough and after Dibiase once again began insulting him and calling him a loser during an in ring interview on Raw, decided to come out to confront the Million Dollar Man and IRS. Razor let it be known that he doesn't work for anybody before knocking both the "Rich Mang" and the "Tax Mang" out of the ring with the fans cheering "Razor!" in approval. An irate Dibiase would then challenge to the 1-2-3 Kid to a match afterwards with the intent of embarrassing Ramon even further by easily defeating the Kid who had recently beat Razor and humiliated him. On WWF Superstars the following weekend Dibiase would take on the Kid with Ramon coming down to ringside to take a closer look. Dibiase dominated the much smaller Kid but would make the mistake of becoming too preoccupied with Razor and was rolled up in a crucifix pinning combination and pinned 1-2-3. The 1-2-3 Kid had done it again! Surprisingly Razor would defend the Kid afterwards when Dibiase tried a post match sneak attack. Strangely enough Ramon and the Kid have now become allies against Dibiase and IRS. Ramon recently admitted that the loss to the Kid was the best thing that could've ever happened as it gave him the humbling that he needed while also giving him a newfound respect for the fans for rallying behind him when he was going through his career struggles and being insulted by Dibiase and IRS. Razor and the Kid have now formed a pact and have agreed to have each other's backs as they do battle with the two members of Money Incorporated in singles competition at Summerslam with Razor taking on Dibiase while the Kid looks to pull off another upset when he faces IRS. Helsinki HellraiserOver the years the WWF has had many great international wrestlers. However perhaps never none with as much potential as Eastern European powerhouse Ludvig Borga. Borga is an environmentalist from Finland which is one of the cleanest countries in the world. Ludvig however hasn't made himself popular in his short time in the Federation with his anti America vignettes in which he's visited various sites such as polluted rivers and worn down factory buildings while running down the USA for it's pollution and perceived deficiencies in environmental laws and educational system. Despite his unpopular views, there's no denying Borga's athletic abilities. Prior to entering the sport of professional wrestling the 308 pound Finnish brute was a successful professional boxer and power lifter. In the boxing ring Borga was the European Boxing Champion while only a teenager and in the weight lifting world has a 900 pound deadlift to his credit. With all these things going for him plus a mean streak a mile long, there's many who feel Borga could be a big player in the WWF for years to come. Despite his athletic prowess, Ludvig's attitude has rubbed many in the WWF the wrong way. Long on ability and short on character the arrogant Scandanavian strongman hasn't endeared himself to most of the WWF stars with his antagonistic tirades against America, especially patriotic All American grapplers such as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan, both of whom would like to get the mighty Finn in the ring and shut him up once and for all. However accomplishing that will be easier said then done as the Helsinki Hellraiser possesses the size and ability to back up his big mouth and is looking to lay waste to all of the Federation's "inferior" American athletes one by one. Vive le QuebecOver the last few months there's been quite the influx of new tag teams entering the WWF, all of whom could be viable challengers for The Steiner Brothers and their WWF World Tag Team Championship. Perhaps the biggest challenge could come from two men north of the border in The Quebecers, Jacques Rougeau and Pierre Ouellette. Jacques who was last seen in the WWF as The Mountie is back in the WWF after a brief absence. However Jacques isn't returning alone as he's also brought with him a new tag team partner in dull witted but strong Pierre, a powerful 280 pounder and long time pal from their time together in the Royal Canadian Mountie Police. Despite this though Jacques and Pierre for some reason insist that they don't want to be called the Mountie's and that they want to be referred to as The Quebecers. Inside the squared circle The Quebecers possess teamwork that's arguably the best in the WWF, constantly tagging in and out and dishing out tandem offense. Most of their double team maneuvers involve Jacques using his huskier partner as a human battering ram by bodyslamming and backdropping his own teammate on top of opponents to dish out great punishment. However the Quebecers most powerful move that serves as their Coup de grace is what they call the Tower of Quebec in which Pierre scales the top rope and locks hands with Jacques who then lifts his partner and flips him over, with the near 300 pound Quebecer then smashing down on a prone foe down below. In the sporting world Canada has reigned supreme as of late with the Montreal Canadians winning the Stanley Cup and the Toronto Blue Jays winning the World Series. It might not be long before Jacques and Pierre continue this trend by becoming the WWF Tag Team Champions. Louisville LipWWF World Champion Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji have now hired an American Spokesperson in James E. Cornette. Yokozuna and Fuji feel like they've been taken advantage of due their limited knowledge of the English language as they believe the interpreters and lawyers that they've been furnished by the World Wrestling Federation have given them false information. As a result they've now hired Cornette a motor mouth from Louisville, Kentucky who has also been one of the top managers in wrestling over the last decade. The addition of Cornette will definitely be a great benefit to Yokozuna as he now has someone who can both serve as a mouthpiece for him during interviews and also a great strategist for matches while Fuji handles the training preparation. Along with being the spokesperson for Yokozuna, Cornette is also the manager of The Heavenly Bodies, a talented tag team that he's brought with him to the WWF. Comprised of "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Rey and "Doctor of Desire" Tom Prichard, the Heavenly Bodies are the reigning Smokey Mountain Tag Team Champions. According to Cornette the Heavenly Bodies are the best tag team in the WWF and on the team's behalf has issued a challenge to the Steiner Brothers to put the WWF Tag Team Championship on the line against his men. The Steiners have accepted the challenge and will defend the titles against Del Rey and Prichard at Summerslam. RankingsSinglesYokozuna: WWF World Champion(c) 568, Polynesian Islands 1. Some very intriguing deviations from real life. Hogan/Gonzalez I feel can go either way, same with Bret/Yokozuna. Undertaker vs. Hughes is an interesting way to go, and I'm assuming we get the Taker/Gonzalez blowoff on a Saturday Night's Main Event, then. Luger/Savage and Crush/Doink should be interesting, too, because all of those guys were on very different tracks IRL at that point.

There's going to be much more deviations in 93 through 95 from what happened IRL. 89 through 92 I kept it more straight forward since I really liked all those years so there really wasn't that much I felt needed changing. 93 through 95 I felt were much more flawed years booking wise and could've been better so I was more creative with it which also made it more fun to rebook.

Hogan keeps his career, Bret gets the title back. Hmm...
Also, I love that you kept Luger heel instead of doing the "rah rah USA" run that destroyed his WWF career.

I really liked the Narcissist character and thought it's run was way too short. Keeping Luger in that role while keeping Hogan longer and using him in the spot All American Luger occupied IRL I thought would be much better.

News and NotesAll Bases CoveredAfter it was announced that he would challenging Bret "Hitman" Hart for the WWF World Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event: Vengeance, "The Narcissist" Lex Luger has gone above and beyond to stack the deck against the champion. As if Luger's steel plated forearm wasn't enough of an unfair edge, The Narcissist has now assembled his own entourage of sorts. While Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has served as an advisor to him since he started in the WWF, the Brain will now be returning to a full time manager role to be with Luger at ringside during all of his matches. While he has brains with Heenan, Luger has also added muscle to his camp. On Monday Night Raw a contract signing took place where Hart and Luger would make the championship match official. After both men signed the contract Luger would reach across the table and slap Hart in the face. Before Hart could retaliate he was attacked from behind by Mr. Hughes, who up until that point had been doing the dirty work of Harvey Wippleman. Hughes would then drive Hart through the table with a powerful spinebuster, injuring the champions back and ribs. As it turns out Hughes, who has been mercenary for hire since coming to the WWF, has now received a higher offer from Heenan and Luger and will be serving as the latter's bodyguard for the foreseeable future. With Luger's steel plate forearm and the presence of Hughes, Hart knows that retaining his championship will be no easy task. Bret will have some assurance with the fact that his younger brother, Owen, has offered to be in his corner to watch Hughes and prevent him interfering to make it a fair contest between Bret and Luger. Will the Hitman once be able to overcome the odds? Or will the Narcissist and new crew prove to be too much for the battle tested champion? Don't Call Them The Mounties, Call Them Champions! On the September 13th Monday Night Raw the WWF Tag Team Championship changed hands under very unusual circumstances. On that night The Steiner Brothers defended their WWF Tag Team Championship against The Quebecers in a Province of Quebec Rules match. In this match the title could change hands on disqualification or count out. Also, under these rules piledrivers, jumping off of the top rope, and throwing an opponent over the top rope were illegal and subject to disqualification. Despite the unusual rules the Steiners weren't concerned going into the match as they were confident with their superior ability they would be able to be able to defeat the Quebecers regardless of what the rules were. However it became obvious that the change of rules had thrown the Steiners off their game as Scott almost knocked Jacques over the top rope with a clothesline and then quickly had to pull the Quebecer back into the ring to avoid a disqualification. Later Rick would forget the rules and start to attempt a piledriver and then an attack off the top rope with his brother having to intervene. These lapses would cause the Steiners to halt their attack and lose momentum. The Quebecers to their credit would take advantage and wrestled a great match as they controlled a large chunk of the match isolating Scott and slowly wearing him down while preventing him from tagging big brother Rick. Then in a surprise Johnny Polo, whom up that point had served exclusively as the manager of Adam Bomb, would turn up at ringside in the Quebecers corner while wearing a Montreal Canadians jersey and carrying a hockey stick. Eventually Scott would manage to drop the two French Canadians with a double clothesline which then bought him enough time to finally be able to make the tag to Rick. The Dog Faced Gremlin cleaned house with Steiner Lines and bodyslams before a recovered Scott then hit the Frankensteiner on Pierre. At this moment it looked like the Steiners were going to beat the Quebecers in their own match. However then Polo would slide his hockey stick into the ring to Jacques. However before the sneaky Quebecer could use the stick, Scott would stop him and managed take it away from him. Unfortunately Scott, the more emotional of the two brothers, would let his temper get the best of him as he then leveled Jacques in the midsection with the stick and then smashed him over the back with it to draw a disqualification. Under normal rules this would mean the Steiners would keep their championship. However due to the agreed to stipulations the Quebecers were now the WWF Tag Team Champions. Despite the extremely tainted way they won the titles, the Quebecers and their new manager would boast about their victory afterwards and then claimed that they would be fighting champions even saying that they would put their newly won belts on the line next week. However they made sure to specify that it wouldn't be against the Steiners since they didn't deserve a rematch. As it turns out the team the Quebecers felt was most deserving to challenge them would be the duo of Barry Horowitz and Reno Riggins despite the fact that they've never even won a match. However Riggins would not be able to wrestle due to being sick with the flu. Horowitz asked if the 1-2-3 Kid could take Riggins place and team with him. The Quebecers and Polo laughed and agreed, not taking the Kid seriously despite his recent string of upset victories. Early in the bout the Quebecers would injure Horowitz who had to be helped to the back thus leaving the Kid in two on one handicap match. The Kid fought valiantly and almost won the titles single handily. Unfortunately the Kid would miss a flying spin kick and spill over the top rope down to the floor. Polo would throw the Kid back into the ring where he was pinned by Pierre. After the match the Quebecers would continue to attack the Kid until the Steiner Brothers made the save. On the following weeks Raw the Quebecers agreed to give the Steiners a rematch if one of them could defeat Pierre, the brute force of the tag team, in a singles match. Scott Steiner would get the nod for the Steiners and use the Frankensteiner to beat Pierre and earn his team a future title shot. It's been announced that the Steiners will get their rematch at Saturday Night's Main Event: Vengeance. Will the two All Americans from Michigan regain the championship or will the underhanded champions and their equally devious manager have another trick up their sleeve? Whoop There It Is!Since entering the WWF last June Men on a Mission have quickly become the most popular team in the WWF. The rapping trio consisting of Mabel, Mo, and Oscar have fans going crazy any time they step into an arena. Oscar is the lead rapper and manager of Men on a Mission, serving as both the voice and brains of the outfit. In the ring hard working 300 pound Mo always starts the match and serves as the teams set up man. However the franchise of the unit is Mabel, an absolute mountain of a man at 6'8" and 500 pounds who despite his tremendous girth also has the ability to execute dropkicks and spin kicks. While still very young and rough around the edges, with his size and surprising agility there's many who feel that Mabel can be one of the most dominant forces in the federation once he gets more experience under his belt. Men on a Mission aren't the most technically refined team by any means, but what they lack in technique they make up for in size and power. Right now the hip hop duo is on a collision course with another powerhouse team who prefers force over finesse, the Headshrinkers. The Headshrinkers are the most feared team in the WWF, often beating opponents so badly that the referee has to stop match in fear of them administering a serious long term injury. However it's unlikely that they will able to do such a thing to men as big as Mo and especially Mabel. It will definitely be major clash when these two big time heavyweight tag teams go toe to toe. Royal HeistThe Repo Man, the Robin Hood of the WWF, has continued to grow in popularity over the last few months. However while Robin Hood's arch nemesis was a Sheriff in the Sherriff of Nottingham, Repo's enemy is a King. Similar to the Sherriff of Nottingham, Jerry "The King" Lawler is a tyrant who mistreats people. As a result fans were delighted when The Repo Man repossessed The King's crown and cape on WWF Superstars after thwarting an attempted Lawler sneak attack before a scheduled match between the two. As a result at Saturday Night's Main Event: Vengeance another match has been scheduled where the crown and cape will be on the line. The Perfect ProtegeThe 1-2-3 Kid has become one of the most unlikely stars in the history of the WWF after his shocking upset wins over Razor Ramon and Ted Dibiase. However his newfound stardom has also made him a target. Especially for Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels and his henchman the near 7'0" tall Diesel. On the September 11th Michaels scored an easy win over Dan Dubiel. However as he and Diesel were making their way to the back, the Kid was coming down to the ring for his match. The passive and polite Kid would try to avoid conflict but the Michaels and Diesel would continuously block him from coming through like a couple of bullies. Eventually with no choice the Kid would punch Michaels but that would result in him getting decked by Diesel in turn. Michaels and Diesel would continue to rough up the kid until Mr. Perfect made the save. While Perfect has had his issues with Michaels and Diesel over the last few months there was also another reason he came to the aid of the Kid. Since the Kid came to the WWF Perfect has taken the youngster under his wing and has served as mentor to him. Both Minneapolis natives, the Kid has always looked up to Perfect and sights him as his biggest inspiration for getting into wrestling. Kid has also credited Perfect's guidance as a big reason for his early success. On the September 25th Michaels took on the Kid in a 10 minute challenge match. If the Kid lasted more then 10 minutes he would win the match. Unfortunately for the Kid the Intercontinental Championship wouldn't be on the line as Michaels stated he didn't deserve one. On top of that the cocky champion said the match wouldn't even last 10 minutes with which resulted in the stipulation for the match. Well Michaels was right. The match didn't last more then 10 minutes. That's because the Kid beat him in just under 5 minutes. With Mr. Perfect in his corner to prevent interference from Diesel, the Kid would upset Michaels after countering a piledriver into a double leg rollup. As a result of his stunning victory, the Kid has earned a championship match against Michaels at Saturday Night's Main Event: Vengeance. Will lightning strike twice? Or will Michaels prove that the result of their last match was nothing but a fluke? Meanwhile in another match on the card, Perfect will take on Diesel. Diesel hasn't been seen much when it comes to in ring competition, instead usually serving as a bodyguard for Michaels. However in the few times he's competed Diesel has been dominant. While lacking in basic wrestling skills he more then makes up for it with size and brawling ability, possessing a tremendous right hand that's knocked out cold everyone he has hit with it, including Perfect himself at Summerslam. While a big man in his own right at 6'3" and 257 pounds, Perfect is still giving up too much size and power to go toe to toe with Diesel. Perfect instead will have to rely on his quickness and technical skill that he's well known for if he wants to get past the Diesel. Will the sleek Corvette be able to get out of the way of the big 18 wheeler? On October 16th on PPV we'll all find out in this interesting clash of styles.
