If there was no The Rock in the 90s and a dude name Dwayne showed up in 2023, a lot of people are gonna be scratching their heads as to why a passionate and charismatic guy who usually saying nothing but catchphrases and calls himself THE ROCK of all things is getting over.

Wrestlemania week his comment to Rey. "I can be just like you. Hi everyone I'm LA Mysterio, I'm a downbeat dad too." Still cracking up at that.
Even the wean, not a wrestling fan, stops what they're doing when they hear his music because "it's the LA guy".
He's just got that IT factor.

Also most of the people are just saying. DID YOU SEE LA KNIGHT GOT CHEERED THIS OBVIOUSLY AGED LIKED LIKE MILK... I have always said La Knight gets cheered. My question has been why is LA Knight getting the most cheers when he is often in the ring and on the mic with people who are better than him?

Or a better question of all the under pushed talented people in WWE why have people chosen LA Knight? Why not an AJ Styles, Butch, Kizer, Shinsuke, Shemus, or heck even Miz. The support seems so random, and no one out side of one person has really hit on why.

No one has really hit on why because you know ehat YOUR answer is and youre not satisified with everyone telling you the obvious. Also if you really pay attention to his push his W-L record hasn't been megapush levels. Also when you have lightning in the bottle you should take advantage of that. So let me talk to you...

I mean, if this stuff was an exact science, we wouldn’t have had to deal with a drought of talent being pushed and tossed aside after the Monday Night Wars ended and the InVasion bombed before they stumbled into the decision of not firing John Cena and letting him rap. People like him, he’s selling merch and people watch his segments. Sort of the three things you need to be a successful pro wrestler for the most part. I don’t know what you expect anyone to say except that.

I think it’s not one thing, but many in this order: This was touched upon by Corey Graves in the After The Bell podcast. People like seeing an older man succeed, especially kids during the main wrestling boom who are now adults. He is relatable to them to anyone switching industries or facing discrimination. This is precisely why I hope Miz really makes fun of him (for heel heat) for being a “40 year old rookie” & “Max Dupri” who worked in “rinky dink secondary & tertiary” companies, and LA Knight points out Miz’s win loss record recently. This will only serve to enhance BOTH LA Knight & The Miz. This is great stuff. If this keeps up & progressing, I may consider the possibility of LA Knight winning Romans Title. As I always said, if age was not a factor for him being fired in 2014, it shouldn’t be now for his push. This is probably the only thing that makes sense to me, and also answers why.

Because he has loads of charisma and can cut entertaining fun promos, with catchy lines/catchphrases sprinkled throughout, which can’t be said of a lot of the “underpushed” guys you mentioned. And he’s completely fresh, which can’t be said of guys like Styles, Sheamus, Miz that have been there forever.

He's had clunky matches with Sheamus and Rey lately which have been pointed out so I doubt it's his in-ring prowess that got him this over. He's just so entertaining on the mic though and history shows that fans don't need you to be Kurt Angle level in the ring to love you. I think he has a great entrance theme too which helps. It's one of those that hits you in a split second and the crowd immediately reacts. A few months ago I had kinda written him off as like another Elias. Very charismatic character and popular in his prime but too limited in other areas to really do much more. I'm wrong though because these pops he's getting blow away anything Elias ever got. He arguably got the biggest pop at Summerslam in front of 50,000+ and on a show that had a ton of other really over people. If this continues he absolutely needs a US title run at least.

Dude is decent in ring, but absolutely dynamite on the mic, which in the WWE should get you slotted nicely in the midcard and the occasional main event flirtation. WWE should have had him take the US belt off the A-Town Clown, like, 4 days ago.
