In my head canon, the last headline came out a few minutes after the other. I mean in real time it seemed that way

Can you believe there are some who want Vince back full-time? Like, I know Triple H’s main roster creative can be a bit dull and some talents are slipping through the cracks, but at least it’s mostly coherent and not openly mean. What. Like, Triple H has his flaws like any other booker. But at least most of the angles under his watch are entertaining, consistent, and coherent.
I think it’s mostly women’s wrestling stans, armed with their stopwatches and whatnot claiming that the women’s division was booked better under Vince than it is under Triple H, because they’d occasionally get PPV main events.

I know this was like literally right before the pandemic hit in 2020 but the whole Double Erick Rowan thing really reminded me about how many times this dude got stuck with the most dead end booking ever...

Sin Cara got a valet, Botchetta I’m happy she’s doing well for herself in CMLL. Because she was set up to fail in WWE.

Have to share the video that Youtube recommended me today because it's literally just about this cursed ass year. Shane McMahon having a whole faction is one of those bits of info that just totally missed me at the time and I'm in awe rn. This dude had FTR *and* Drew McIntyre as his goons. DREW MCINTYRE WHO IS GONNA BE THE CHAMP NEXT YEAR. www.youtube.com/watch?v=205pbkwgETE

Paul Heyman becoming RAW's creative guy and the show suddenly being invested by cuckolding is still one of the funniest things in the world to me.

OK, I need somebody to explain this to me because I have NO recollection of this This was a segment where Sami Zayn sat in an actual electric chair AKA was on the hot seat and they had fans ask him questions. Sami then criticized their questions and asked why they didn't ask him about other things like AEW. This was the first and last edition of the segment. This was the Raw after Double or Nothing and the same show also opened with Dolph and Xavier brawling through the crowd for an eternity as a bizarre and obvious attempt to one-up Kenny and Mox.

Remember the first show after it was announced he took over and they had this big crazy Strowman brawl with like high backstage camera angles and shit and people actually started chanting "THANK YOU PAUL!"? They were that desperate for any semblance of change to the product Lmfao

The more I look at some of these posts, there's no way that 2019 wasn't because Vince was not used to there being an actual opposing fed for almost 20 years and having no idea what to do so got all his insane decisions out of his head, regardless of if they were good or not including having Bischoff and Heyman work for him as consultants.
If anything, 2020 actually fixed a lot of those because he didn't have those annoying "fans" around him being annoying. He could pipe those in! It was a dream!

My low key favourite genre of pro wrestling is ‘pro combat athletes most definitely are just having fun and being good sports but absolutely have to be booked to win their fake fight.’ It completes me.
That’s right behind whatever Cain ‘we legit thought they recast Dominic’ Velasquez‘s deal was.

That’s right behind whatever Cain ‘we legit thought they recast Dominic’ Velasquez‘s deal was. Like, Cain’s at least had a bit of logic to it. He was actually doing well in AAA where he wasn’t exactly Vikingo but he was just getting his bearings but since he was friends with Cody and all but AEW bound, WWE signed him to have a Saudi blood money match with Brock because, well, UFC history and all that. Problem was, they weren’t going to have him do anything except a faux MMA style which Cain a) didn’t seem that interested in doing from how the match turned out and b) sort of limits the potential you have in growing. And then they sort of cut their losses and people acted like that was his fault. Putting aside recent events of the last year or so (which, I mean, it’s WWE, they’d probably say they have no responsibility for Cain’s actions because he didn’t show his mostly naked body on an OnlyFans competitor), Cain would be considered the most useless hire of the last 5 years until HHH decided to bring back Johnny Gargano.

Seeing Cain reminded me this is when Dom debuted. I wanted to find a terrible early segment but this is actually strangely hilarious. There's something hilarious about whooping someone's ass like that in the trainer room. It was funny when Sid did it to Jose Lothario's son, it was funny when Brock did it to Rey's son.

Was 2019 the year when they went overboard with 2/3 falls matches because Vince hated wrestling during commercial breaks?

I remember Sami Zayn's weird promo when he returned the night after Mania which was blatantly an indirect message to the fans from Vince.
