I have more or less been out of the loop since Tuesdays show ended…and I’ve been out of town and not paying attention to anything wrestling related since Thursday. So can someone - without editorializing - TL/DR this shit for me??

This was ostensibly the ratings thread for last week’s Dynamite in the beginning… Then Tony Khan cracked the shits and went on a big ol’ Twitter bender. At some point Mario chat took over for a few pages and we’re about three pages away from losing one of our most tenured posters somehow IF YOU GUYS DON’T SHUT UP AND GO HOME.

I will say this, and this is not to defend TK’s childishness here. But for those who say that Vince would never “lower himself” to stuff like this.

Vince whined and complained and b****ed constantly back in the day about the competition. At a time when WWF was hemorrhaging money, Vince was spending good money taking out articles in the NYT or WSJ whining like a baby about Ted Turner. He dedicated time on Raw to attacking Turner and go so nasty that USA had to step in and tell him to stop.

I read recently tampering wasn’t really a thing outside of sports teams in the same league. Tortious interference would only be if they tried to get the person to break their contract.

No matter what the legality was, it seems like the story is Regal went to Tony while his mother was in the hospital and used that situation to convince Tony to let him out of his contract early so he could spend more time with his son in NXT while he still had the chance.
