Watching someone else cover this and I overlooked this one the first time, the, "I was at a dinner meeting where I was in the middle of finalizing finally making my damn movie when the Hbomberguy video blew up so really it's his fault there isn't a movie," part is also goddamn wild.

Jessie Gender made a video response since she gets a direct apology early on and she's basically confirmed that she knows for a fact that many of the people he's apologized to have not, in fact, accepted his apology. Threatening self-harm is never a valid defense for being caught doing something unethical, nor should it ever be used to wipe away what got that person into this mess to begin with.
