106-Wonder Woman 1984-DVD
Wow what a massive drop from that first film. This feels like a made for streaming Wonder Woman TV show pilot that they just added in every take to make it feature length. Then said F that lets hit 2 1/2 hours with almost nothing happening for the first hour and a half.
When watching a film at home I kind of judge my interest by how often I am hitting hte button to see how much is left. I counted I did that 27 times during this movie. There was at least once where I was sure 20 minutes had passed, checked nope been 4 or 5 minutes.
3.3 Now I see why this was packed with the first film out of 10

#323 - The Fugitive (Apple)
*1st Viewing
The fact that the Janitor from Scrubs actually used his role here as a joke is 10/10. The movie is fire too. [****½]
#324 - Tuck and Dale vs. Evil (Prime)
*1st Viewing
This is a lot of fun because it knows exactly what it is and totally leans into it. [***½]

94. Princess of Thieves (2001)95. Batman (1966) 96. Pleasantville (1998) 97. Shanghai Knights (2003)Latest YouTube movie. The movie (and its predecessor) have a tendency to get a little too goofy for my tastes at times, but between some entertaining, overly choreographed Jackie Chan fight scenes and his delightful chemistry with Owen Wilson, it's a mostly fun watch. 98. Hellboy: Sword of Storms (2006)Next YouTube movie. Man, I don't think I've seen either of the Hellboy animated movies since they were first released. Anyways, fun movie highlighted by using the actors from the 2004 movie as VA's. It can get a little too in the weeds when it comes to Japanese mythology, and the way Hellboy defeated the monsters at the end was a little too pat, but an entertaining time nonetheless.

187. SAW X (2023) Weirdly making the self-righteous villain a righteous victim is weird. I suppose it's handled better than DON'T BREATHE 2. That said, if I've watched this many of these things, I'm on the hook for any others they throw out.
188. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR (2014) The maligned sequel that definitely adds on to any "Frank Miller hates women" ideas. That said, the character actors in this raise the material to something interesting to watch. Powers Boothe was pure evil whenever he wanted to turn it on.
They even got Christopher Lloyd in here saying "Forty dollars you got, forty dollars worth you get," as a mob doctor.
189. MALUM (2023) The remake of LAST SHIFT from the same director. Has more money, so more effects, make-up, and set pieces. It's fine but I feel like it lost a bit of tension along the way.
190. ATTACK OF THE METH GATOR (2023) Yeah, that's a movie. When it can do stupid CGI stuff with its gator, it's a lot better. When you've got people...acting...it's not going so great.
Although, there's no way I don't chuckle at a big ol' gator jogging at the camera because it sniffed drugs.
191. JOHN WICK 4 (2023) Had one day left on my free trial of Starz, so I committed three hours to this. The John Wick movies are a lot of fun, but daggone if three hours isn't just a solid chunk of daggone time.

97. Shanghai Knights (2003)98. Hellboy: Sword of Storms (2006) 99. Hellboy: Blood and Iron (2007)Latest YouTube movie. Figured I watched one Hellboy animated movie, might as well watch the other. I like this one better then Sword of Storms actually. It feels more like a real Hellboy story, and not just him plunked down into the middle of an old folktale. And Liz and Abe actually felt like they had real things to do in this and not just given busy work. That said, there's a whole fight at the end between Hellboy and Hecate that just felt tact on. Like someone said "we need something for Hellboy to punch". But enjoyable over-all.

117. Back to the Beach - Watched this on Blu-ray. First and foremost, I recall having watched this on HBO way back when, like in 2000. What led me to revisit this film was that a month ago, when I was watching NXT Heat Wave, I talked about what Sol Ruca could be like when she turns heel. It made me remember this movie.
Here are some other tidbits: I recall thinking it was a little cheesy when I saw it a long time ago, but of course, maybe it was some eye candy like Lori Loughlin that got me to watch it when it was on. Another thing that I must add is that I am familiar with those beach movies from the 1960s with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello (RIP), but I haven't actually watched them (maybe bits and pieces of one of them, but I am not sure which one). While this film wasn't a sequel to them, it was more or less a parody of them.
With all of that said, I will say that it is enjoyable for what it is, but mainly if you know what you're getting yourself into. It doesn't take itself seriously in the slightest. There are some fun musical numbers and catchy songs on the soundtrack. Hell, that bit with Pee-Wee Herman (RIP Paul Reubens) was one of the best parts of the film. I have noted that there is some eye candy, including Lori Loughlin and some of the extras in the film. I also will say that Annette Funicello and Connie Stevens still looked good for their ages at the time, too.
In the end, though, it's a film you will like or dislike, depending on what your tastes. Because I can see that the cheese factor might turn off some people, but for those who might enjoy it, it's a fun spoof that doesn't take itself seriously. I wouldn't say that I loved it, but for an hour and a half, it's not bad to pass the time with.

What a pile of crap. I rather watch Ready to Rumble or Grunt or Bodyslam or All the Marbles or American Angels.
2.0 Smells of Dookie out of 10
110-Crypt of Dark Secrets-Severin Blu ray
Crazy set in the swamps of Southwest LA horror. Snake lady saves a guy who lives in the swamp.
He was attacked by some cajuns that needed money and learned he kept all his money on this island instead of in the bank.
Crazy and sleazy and just fun. Shows that it was legit filmed in real locations.
The director is best known for directing Mardi Gras Massacre.
8.7 Naked Snake Woman dances out of 10

Had seen most of the beach movies cause she was a fan. Then kind of forgot about it. Until on a trip Big Ramp oout of nowhere started singing Jamacain Ska and it made me remember the film. Now I need to track down this blu ray you mentioned.

97. Shanghai Knights (2003)98. Hellboy: Sword of Storms (2006) 99. Hellboy: Blood and Iron (2007) 100. Trading Places (1983)Latest YouTube movie. YouTube actually lists this as the "TV Version". Outside of a few, obvious dialogue changes, I'm not entirely sure what that means. Problematic scenes like the attempted suicide, Dan Akroyd in blackface and the gorilla rape all seem to be intact. But yeah, there is a lot of stuff that hasn't aged well, but it is still a fun movie with a great cast. Honestly the story of how this movie revived almost all the careers in it is just as interesting as the movie itself.

111-Death Brings Roses-Severin Blu Ray
Another Jack Weis shot in NOLA 70s film. Chuck is the bagman for a "talent" agent. Chuck goes to all the clubs, bars and pubs in the French Quarter and picks up the "talent" fees.
The boss makes Chuck his partner. Then dies,Chuck takes over and learns the boss was mobbed up.
Sleazy and filled with sweaty people. Can tell this was shot in NOLA and it was summer.
Perfect for when you want something short and regional.

A great cast leads the way here (even if Jodie Comer's accent is unbearable at points) and I really liked how this kind of looks at the fragil world that is biker gangs. [***½]
#330 - Vegas Vacation (IFC)

An improvement over European Vacation with some genuinely funny moments though casting Marisol Nichols as Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo's daughter was a CHOICE. [***]
