Honest to god, the doom posting makes me wanna avoid the WWE section. Some of you REALLY want to be miserable just so you can be "right" WWE has trained people to be wary whenever a part-timer shows up because time and time again they have been put over the regular stars. WWE has been on a roll and things have been great, but it's WM season and Rock vs Roman is something the company has wanted for years. People have good reason to be concerned. Now with Vince out of the picture, there is hope that they do this right, but I can totally understand why some folks are throwing their hands up and sighing, especially when they were told after WM 39, no no the real ending is WM 40. The thing is, Vince was actually on the "Cody should win" side for last year's WM.

I feel for Erick Rowan/Redbeard. Dude should've milked the gimmick of "I RETIRED THE ROCK" when he had the chance.

On the real, like look at Rock's condition. Regardless when the match takes place I wonder how short it'll be. Say he gets his cardio up, it still won't be a long match. It'll be 10mins at max and that's if there's all the pageantry and playing to the audience in between. Man got winded last night. It'll be an interesting match that's for sure. They better do the "Goldberg Treatment" and make it a 5 minute car crash. I understand people being excited at the prospect of the spectacle, but with some pre-nut clarity, how can we expect the Rock not to explode like dried spaghetti if the match is longer than a cup of coffee? Rock is going to hurt himself on some Shane McMahon shit.

Maybe if they want Rock-Roman at Mania they’ll do Rock losing to Roman on Night 1 and Cody beating Roman on Night 2.

I suppose they could just do Rock-Roman at Mania if EC isn’t in the cards, but you really need to give Cody something important to sink his teeth into if that’s the case in order to keep him over as the number 1 face. Heel Orton is a risk unless you make Orton go full on sadistic heel so that you don’t get anyone turning on Cody.

The Rock is from like 25 years ago. Roman should spank his old tired ass and get this match done so we can stop hearing about it. I always laugh at these comments, because it's so true. Imagine if 1999 Rock or 1999 Austin challenged a 1974 Bruno Sammartino to match in 1999? I don't think the attitude era fans would even understand "Who's this OLD guy". WWF 1999 reverting back to a 1974 gimmick would've felt completely ancient. And here we are in 2024 reverting back to 1999. Hell, we basically got that with the Backlund run. He was alright trying to go hold for hold with a chain wrestler, but the moment he had to face a powerhouse Diesel he left a crazy old man shaped dent in the canvas and got sent back to irrelevancy

I'LL TAKE ANYDAY! Pretty crazy there could theoretically be a WM with Rock, Cena, Austin, Roman, Randy, Punk and Cody.

If Bruno Sammartino was the most famous actor in the world in 1999 then I think there's a very good chance he'd have been brought back for a match.

If Rock vs Roman is the main event of mania, there’s a non zero chance it could end up like Shane Vs Miz last year

If Rock vs Roman is the main event of mania, there’s a non zero chance it could end up like Shane Vs Miz last year my favorite part of that is when i was in my seat and shane came out (I was expecting LA Knight), i said out loud "why? he's so old now why shane" and some rando was like "he's the best in the world watch" dude immediately has his legs explode. guy said nevermind and the entire time until i left the arena, i thought it was a storyline and shane wasn't actually hurt
