WWE should just go full Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior and bury the shit out of Vince in the documentary. I am guessing the narrative itself will blame Vince himself and everyone around him will get a pass (rightfully or wrongfully). Simmons has done many of these docs while at ESPN, and while it does talk about some employees misgivings, he never buried ESPN itself. What I am going to guess happens, is the people who work for the WWE now, will all bring up how his own family voted "no" when he first tried to come back, and that is the narrative they will go with. Not saying this is right or wrong. I just don't think Netflix is going to completely bury its biggest rights acquisition in the company's history. It'll probably end like those old WWE docs, on some positive note, like how everyone currently lives in rainbow land and everything is much better without Vince. |

I thought Vince only signed off on this if he got some level of creative/editorial control?
Edit: That may explain no interviewing of Ms Grant, although the fact that is still an active legal federal case on top of the civil suit may also have led them to steer clear.

I have Netflix right now, for the Sailor Moon movie (And a Suits rewatch). I was going to cancel it in a couple weeks but now I'm debating if it's worth keeping it another month for this.
