It's pending litigation. There's no way Grant, her team, McMahon, his team, or the WWE would discuss it at length in a documentary. Yeah appearing on a Netflix documentary while the case is pending wouldn’t even be an option that I would explore if I was Grant’s attorney.

That's no as bad as it looks. For a pending case it's advised not to take part in anything like thaf.

I think generally this could end up being the most comprehensive, and likely most balanced, Vince McMahon documentary we'll ever get. It won't be the puff piece produced by WWE back in 2006, but you can't tell the story of Vince McMahon without discussing how he took a regional promotion and made professional wrestling an international, billion-dollar spectacle. It won't be the hit piece that "Dark Side of the Ring" made, but you can't tell the story of Vince McMahon without discussing the bodies, careers, and lives that have been ruined in his wake.
It'll likely be a lot like what we saw out of "Tiger King," in that the documentary filmmaker gives the subject just enough rope to hang themselves and leaves it up to the audience to determine whether the good outweighs the bad, or the bad outweighs the good.

Oh sure, but more just even having them going “We asked Grant’s team and WWE’s team for comment and were told it’s going through litigation” to cover your bases wouldn’t hurt, especially considering it could potentially make a lot of the documentary redundant.

Yeah, I'm not exactly trustworthy of Netflix with how Swamp Kings was an Urban Meyer fluff piece, and them releasing a Hope Solo doc with her working on it, but this can be explained as the makers knowing not to ask due to pending legal and civil cases.

I don’t think it will be a fluff peiece. But I don’t expect anything all that revealatory, wither. At least to wrestling fans. For most, it will just be a curiosity about a felonious huckster. Good job, Vince. You’re just a much more malignant Joe Exotic.

There are some public records that infer it was Hunter, Steph and Khan that voted to keep Vince out after he first stepped away. With Netflix picking up WWE in their biggest rights deal in history, I imagine they will separate the WWE from VKM's actions. I mean, they all agreed to be interviewed for this doc while the WWE was actively negotiating the rights deal with Netflix.

I would at least expect this documentary to end with a “Vince is under investigation to this day” epilogue.

I have basically no interest in a doc that isn't just about what a colossal piece of shit Vince is and he doesn't deserve any other legacy than that. People are more important than a f***ing circus.

Yep. I need a complete and utter nuclear burial showcasing every little thing that he did to intentionally f*** with people over the years. I don’t care if he was the guy that brought wrestling national, that story has been told a billion times. I want this guy to see what a POS he is and that people aren’t afraid to tell about it while his goofy ass is still alive to see it.

I'll take a look when every single last accomplice who enabled this criminally insane behavior (yeah, looking at you Stephanie, Paul, and many more) is held accountable for the role they played in enabling such horrifying exploitation and degradation.
Which is to say, I'll probably indefinitely pass on this nonsense.
