And it's tough because there are certain people who weren't in the inner circle that genuinely did probably just think he was quirky and didn't hear much of what he was actually doing on a day-to-day basis. Somebody like Bryan, though, for instance...I have an incredibly hard time believing he wasn't aware of what was going on. That makes his positive statements about Vince super disappointing. I'm not accusing anyone besides the higher ups in WWE by the way. I don't think for a second that someone like Cena/Danielson/Etc. knew specifically what happened because as much as it may be naive, I do believe after reading the whole thing that there is a chance that most of the talent itself probably had no clue, even if they were high up in prestige. People running the shows, bookers, executives? I'm sorry but yeah, I do think there's way more fire to this and I'm not going to apologize for it. You would have to be an absolute fool to believe this monster is bragging to the IT guy and not to other higher ups saying hey you want in on this because that's exactly what he f***ing did with Brock. The only thing that could possibly be elaborated on without talent and officials directly being named is “Vince is a person who knows how to charm and have an effect on people”. That isn’t a compliment of him in the slightest, BTW.

You would have to go through the entirety of the WWE roster and AEW roster. Pretty much everyone save a few people have shit like he is just "quirky" more or less but combine the crazy stories with ones of him supposedly being generous. Terry Funk: “Vince is a cross between a hell of a guy and Satan.” Ya know, I'mma go ahead and call Vincent Kennedy McMahon Jr., a Yankee Bastard and a real Son of a Bitch.

I really don't know how it can be done, but there absolutely needs to be some sort of purging or rebranding or burning to the ground or whatever once justice is served. Just from a viewer standpoint, he's spent so much time on screen, much of it being sex creep, that it makes so much of the library uncomfortable to watch. From a corporate standpoint, I can't see this not being an accepted part of the company culture with everything made public so far, and the only way to fix that is to get rid of everyone involved directly or indirectly. Which is to say nothing of the real world harm this has caused victims and will continue to cause as more is made public. Vince going away, even to prison, won't fix those problems. Bin this garbage and start over.

Vince: “that lawsuit is full of lies! We did more than was in the report!” im honestly kind of impressed that they literally just used three different ways to say “lies” in that statement. "It's not only a lie, it is untruth, it is fiction, it is words that are not real even"

Jiminy f***ing f***. Never seen the forum act as a de facto jumpscare like this upon logging in for the morning. Yeah, I'm sorry, I do not envy the job of the mods this weekend.

There is close to zero chance they do a scrum that isn’t a ‘work’ and is completely scripted, if they even have a scrum at all. I mean their after PPV shams they have. Instead, we will get these gutless “journalists” verbally blowing Paul and asking kayfabe questions. Speaking of one of these so called "journalists": I wonder if Nick Hausman will ask Hunter about this at the scrum on Sat night. Because after all, Nick Hausman is such a supporter of sexual assault victims.

I don’t know if an island is the right place to send him. Oh, I can think of an island to put him on, but I don't think it's good enough for scum like Vince. Rikers would be a perfect destination.

WWE's last 24 or so hours being The Rock coming on board and the big Netflix and USA deals to... this... has to be some of the most insane whiplash for a branding I think I have ever seen and we may ever see period.

He has a way of convincing people to do things they probably wouldn't do otherwise. Some wrestlers cite how Vince talked them into doing certain stunts by doing them himself, first. I'm thinking along those lines is what Clash means. They can correct me if I'm wrong here.

I thought the first time would be a disaster to Mod but this is considerably more volatile of a situation, and yeah, I don't envy them at all. Godspeed to all of them as this continues...

Did they need to? They were addressing the 'hush money' and the financial conduct issue of him buying her off with company money - she was a recipient of that, but wouldn't have known where the money came from, which is what they were looking in to They were looking into more than the specific act of financial misappropriation, because what Vince did was to employees and contractors. The nature of what was done and why he was paying her off would have still been relevant to the investigation, as would have been the nature of any discussions had about the payments. You don't leave people this big out of the investigation into your combination founder/CEO/majority owner just because she 'only got the money'. What he did to the people he paid off was still a major facet of what they were supposed to be looking into.

Step 1) Deny Step 2) Settle Quietly Step 3) Disappear
Yeah, I just want to make it abundantly clear that Vince isn't going to jail even though he deserves it, but this is going to be a MASSIVE settlement for TKO that will be well in the 10 digit range, I'm quite certain.
