As a fan of Pro Wrestling, I am thankful that Vince brought the business into the American Mainstream. As a human, I say that Vince McMahon is a cockroach. The Phil Spector of wrestling.

The last page about wwe's control of the business has me thinking. Rene Dupree left wwe for moral reasons and never returned after Benoit.
Is there anyone else known to have done similar?

The last page about wwe's control ofnyhe business has me thinking. Rene Dupree left wwe for moral reasons and never returned after Benoit. Is there anyone else known to have done similar? Eric Young was re-signed briefly a year or two ago, but left before being put back on TV when Vince wormed his way back in. Like, he’s on record as saying that’s why he wanted out.

I wonder if any of the talent will request a release after this? I know I wouldn't want to work for a company where there is such a culture of abuse running through it. Pick up that phone, Cody and come home 🙏 Can we not? I wasn't attempting to turn it into a company v company war. I enjoy both for the most part and despise the tribalism that exists between both sets of fans. All I was saying was if I was a part of that roster/company, I'd be seriously thinking of handing my notice in. The culture of abuse has clearly been present at management level for years and could potentially still be lingering. I wouldn't want to spend one minute more there personally given some still there in positions of power most likely had knowledge of a lot of this.

I just feel compelled to say that if there's anyone in this forum reading this thread right now that has experienced any sort of sexual assault or misconduct, I hope you're doing OK given everything coming out. You matter and you are cared about. This is the first thing like this since, so Honestly, I expected to feel worse, but I'm a bit. Numbed.

I wonder about guys like Randy Savage, Shane Douglas, and anyone else that was basically blackballed because Vince didn't like them. Or a guy like Bruno or Pedro Morales, who worked mostly for Vince sr and then were phased out and never really came back.

Pick up that phone, Cody and come home 🙏 I had the exact same thought - I don't know when his contract is up, but I can see Cody being the first to say that he doesn't want to be associated with this company anymore. That's based on my opinion of his moral character, not tribalism.

Wondering what Netflix thinks of all this. Yes, it happened before they got involved, but this is what they're saddled with now. Ironically this has all the makings of a classic Netflix multipart documentary

Based on everything we have seen about Brock's role in this (or at least I've seen), there doesn't seem to be anything here that explicitly states that he knew that this woman was being forced into these acts by Vince. Brock could make the argument that he just thought she was a freaky chick who was into this kind of thing. To be clear Brock isn't really the target of the suit. There's no charges against him. He's kinda a morally ambiguous bystander/prop in this case

I keep see conflicting rumors that he still hasn't. And IF he hasn't that is gonna be huge because he like every other talent really has to be questioning the actual management at this point and about working for this company.

When is Drew's contract up? Because he'd likely be the first domino to fall here, if it's going to happen at all.

I will admit idk the whole story, and I don't wanna come off like I'm defending sex trafficking, but asking seemingly consenting adult for pictures is not sex trafficking. From everything I read I'm not sure if Brock knew she was doing this against her will... Which is also probably why he's not being sued.

The stuff McMahon and his associates are accused of makes Ric Flair come off like a saint in comparison. Like, Vince is in his own unique category of shittiness here.
Not that I think it'd cause Cody to turn around and leave WWE because he's as much a carny as anyone. But this is pretty horrifying in terms of the kinds of acts allegedly performed. It goes beyond the regular sort of scumminess.
