Was anybody expecting anything else? Something like this, the company no matter what is gonna put a gag order on everybody. Every statement about this or something similar, has to go through the company. Every corporation does that, Microsoft or Sony get hacked, the workers aren't gonna say shit, it will all be referred to the company's legal department. |

I only said ambiguous because I do think how you view Brock's role in all of this is basically what you feel about certain topics... I don't think anyone is accusing him of sexual assault, or using force to make her do anything. What they are accusing him of is infidelity, weird sexual fetishes', and maybe prostitution. While I personally would draw the line at infidelity, I do know some reasonable people who would defend his right to all three if the person is consenting. She wasn't.To be fair to Brock though, did he necessarily know that? We have no idea at this point what Vince or Johnny may have told him, nor do we have any idea of what she may have sent him/been coerced/felt coerced in terms of sending him saying she was ok with things. This is why it's really hard to start pointing fingers and accusing people in blanket statements. We have no idea at this point how Vince was portraying this poor woman to people in terms of her consent or willingness to engage, or what she may have been/felt pressured in to telling people about that. |

I just was trying to explain to people Brock's role/perceived role in all of this. Some people where replying like he was a defendant. He's not. It's not clear he did anything illegal(from what I read) and some decent people might think he didn't do anything (morally) wrong... |

Imagine this scenario: it turns out Triple H, Nick Khan, Steph, Shawn et al were all HEAVILY involved in covering this up and they all get let go. TKO decide there's nobody more qualified to take over than Eric Bischoff, and they also decide a rebrand is needed and since they already own all the trademarks, WWE becomes WCW over night. It'd never happen but it's a funny thing to picture because it's not even outside the realm of possibilities.

TKO decide there's nobody more qualified to take over than Eric Bischoff, and they also decide a rebrand is needed and since they already own all the trademarks, WWE becomes WCW over night. It'd never happen but it's a funny thing to picture because it's not even outside the realm of possibilities. There is nothing for Stephanie to be let go from. She left the company. |

Not out of any remotely positive feelings towards Vince (my feelings on what needs to be done to him would be ban-worthy if said), but because knowing would make one feel like even an infinite amount of showers would never wash off the filth that would come with knowing. |

The stuff McMahon and his associates are accused of makes Ric Flair come off like a saint in comparison. Like, Vince is in his own unique category of shittiness here. Not that I think it'd cause Cody to turn around and leave WWE because he's as much a carny as anyone. But this is pretty horrifying in terms of the kinds of acts allegedly performed. It goes beyond the regular sort of scumminess. I don't really think you're going to see a mass exodus unless the issue ends up going like to everybody. I think it's ultimately going to effect corporate unless it comes out that wrestlers all knew about it and/or participated. I'm sure there will be some to take the moral high ground but I think it's mainly going to be people who would have probably left anyway when their contract was up. |
