Triple H shouldn't have done that tweet. That said, what else are they supposed to do? Can't cancel Smackdown and the Royal Rumble. They need to keep the business running and have the non-players continue with their work while the investigation and damage control takes place. Tune into smackdown, this poops not fun anymore.

WWE can still do their shows but that Triple H is unnecessary and in bad taste.

Because I can't wish harm on Vince McMahon, this is what I have to say.
I hope every time he walks by his coffee table, he stubs his toe.
I hope that every morning Lego and British plugs materialise around his bed.
I hope his undies always ride up no matter what.
I hope that his big toe always ends up poking through his socks, plus I hope that the elastic fails and his socks fall off his feet during the day.
I hope that every time he sits down at a desk, he cracks his funny bone.

They need to keep the business running and have the non-players continue with their work while the investigation and damage control takes place. And ultimately, Endeavour do own the company now. The company isn't Vince anymore. They need to push forward to keep up that visual so maybe it limits some of the damage to the company they just bought. As for Vince, I feel like maybe they are waiting for the stock market to close, and it'll be announced he's gone once the stock cant take any sort of hit from it.

Oh good lord, I hadn't realised until now how high the chance Vince's dick pics have of being public record in the near future. yeah it suddenly hit me that it was possible, and I realised that I had no desire to witness it. Same here. Everything I’ve read about this has left me disgusted and horrified, but this dawning realization is the straw that breaks the camels back of me being about to turn into the Joker, wrestling-wise.

WWE can still do their shows but that Triple H is unnecessary and in bad taste. How? He’s just promoting the Rumble. As much as all this stinks, a lot of people are still looking forward to the Rumble and not want to focus on all this Vince news

I think that's the other question. If they didn't have sex, and Brock still resigned was she really apart of the contract? I very much doubt she was a written clause. Even Vince McMahon isn't that dumb and no lawyer on the planet would write that in. It would have only ever been a verbal thing. Oh yeah for sure. But looking at it from a Brock standpoint. Like did HE actually see it as Vince offering her up as a item for contract or was it just a woman Vince wanted him to sleep with for whatever reason?

It's just reading the room.

Of all the potential options, I think doing the press conference with only softball approved questions would be the worst look of all. Better off not doing it than running a sham of one.

Triple H couldn't care less could he? And they should cancel the rumble and Smackdown and refund everyone because it's grotesque this company can go on without a care in the world while this is going on. I'm not watching and I'm sure many others won't be. You have to wonder what would happen if most of not all the talent decided not to show up for the show, it would be disastrous for WWE.

If Tony Khan wanted carte blanche to dump on WWE for all that's come out in the last 24 hours, Triple H's tweet just became that carte blanche.
If I ran TKO, Trips would not be in any PR-related role from here on out. No member of the McMahon family or of their regime should be right now.

In civil court, all you need to do is prove that it was more likely to happen than not. So 50% + 1%. I really don't see the need to argue online about it with people.
My actual guess on what will happen is they will settle out of court again, probably for triple the cost of the first settlement as it seems the WWE knowingly leaked the alleged victim's name.
If VKM goes to court and he loses, the victim could publish a book, and I imagine publishers would be lining up around the block.
At this point, I would personally consider another out of court settlement to be an admission of guilt. Celebrities do settlements all the time, often because its cheaper and protects their reputation. If he was truly innocent, going through the court process at this stage would be cheaper and save his reputation.
I also find it weird VKM's crew instantly blamed the alleged victim for the leaking of information regarding the initial settlement, knowing how many people likely knew about their relationship. Most victims don't go out of their way to break an NDA because they also can be sued. WWE is also filled with people who leak information to the media quite regularly. I honestly think it's more likely higher ups who were in "the know" leaked it for their own personal gain.
According the texts alone, it seems like this relationship was hardly a secret and it's not like its normal a 75 year old date a 24 year old. Being in a office environment, seeing someone go from no corporate experience to a 200k Director role would ruffle some feathers and anger staff as a whole.
Also important to remember that it leaked out that Nick Khan, Triple H, and Stephanie all voted to remove VKM from power.
Went to law school but not a lawyer, I just took a regular boring job. Just my take, feel free to take it with a grain of salt

That said, a "business as usual" tweet right now isn't the best look. Just keep quiet, the show's already sold out, no need to do a whole "HEY GUYS, WHADDAYA UP TO THIS WEEKEND?!" kind of message when there's a gigantic black cloud overhead.

I mean, they still have the Rumble tomorrow Frankly, anything this company does aside from compensating its victims, cleaning out its bad actors, and adopting new practices is just posturing anyway.
