There are a large number of songs TOOL has not played live in a number of varying years probably for the same varying reasons, some best known ones people really like to try and catch are like Eulogy, Undertow, Pushit, etc Others that have only been played a handful of times live EVER (If not less) are Wings (part one and two), Maynard's Dick, Disgustipated, Die Eir Von Satan, Ticks & Leeches, Faaip de Oiad, Viginti Tres and Lipan Conjouring. Think Maynard recently mentioned that some of the older stuff is physically difficult to do consistently. He did have some bad luck with COVID so who knows how much that plays a part. Though Rob Halford looks 100 years old and is still screaming his lungs out so I guess it differs for others.

Neil Young is practically the king of this. Of course, people paying to go see Neil Young in the past few decades surely know to expect him to do what he wants to do, so like, I doubt many are blindsided. Andre 3000 still does Hey Ya, but boy does he hate doing it Kind of appropriate given the lyrics, admittedly.
