I heard a song on the radio in a bar the other something called "All of the Kings and Queens" or something like that (at least that's what the chorus was) and it was an absolute rip-off of You Give Love a Bad Name.
I don't know how the singer got away with it to honest.

Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet sounds like Lust for Life by Iggy Pop.
I always thought that the opening riff of How Do You Talk to an Angel by The Heights sounded similar to the beginning of Don’t Dream It’s Over by Crowded House.

I am sure I'm the only one, but if it comes on the radio, I can never tell if it's LA Woman by the Doors or Signs by the Five Man Electrical Band until the song really kicks in. I confuse the intros all the time. They don't sound that much alike. Same, but for me it's Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics and Sunglasses At Night by Corey Hart, both which also have similar intros (though SAG has a slower tempo).

I don't know how the singer got away with it to honest. Speaking of You Give love a bad name... The chorus tune of "You Give Love a Bad Name" was originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler under the title "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)" with different lyrics commissioned by its producer Jim Steinman. Dissatisfied with its success in the US and the UK (which he attributed to reticence on the part of her label in promoting it), Desmond Child re-wrote the song with Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora

I wonder if these two should count since they used the exact same beat.
This could be argued since this version of "Bag Lady" is a remix as the original version had a different beat. I do remember hearing the aforementioned version on the radio and I said "Explosive!" under my breath.
As a hip-hop head, I could make a lot of mentions about the times when beats were sampled for songs. Hell, I could say the same about remixes. However, hearing this version of "Bag Lady," some of the parts where Erykah Badu sang, they reminded me of when Nate Dogg sang his verse in "Xxplosive."

"Waterfalls" and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" are the same song.
In the "blatant and obvious rip-off" subcategory, there's this example:

i'm in a band, one of our songs is called Watchmen, we didn't realise it sounds like a ska version of negative creep by Nirvana until someone pointed it out at a gig.

Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet sounds like Lust for Life by Iggy Pop. That’s the example that immediately comes to my mind. Led Zeppelin may be a legendary band, but they were pretty blatant in using other people’s song as the foundation of their own songs. Thankfully, I think my favorite song of theirs, “The Immigrant Song”, seems to be fairly original. Vanilla Ice was quite lame in his attempts to avoid giving John Deacon a song writing credit for “Ice Ice Baby”. George Harrison accidentally used a lot of the same foundational elements of “He’s So Fine” in “My Sweet Lord”. After losing a lawsuit over it, Harrison simply bought the rights to the Chantels’ song. Speaking of accidental rip offs, Busta Rhymes accidentally used the lyrics of a PSA commercial that aired in NYC as the chorus for “Dangerous”. He had the lyrics bouncing in his head for years, asking others if they’d heard them before. Once he was convinced they were original, he used them. When it was pointed out where they came from, he was proactive in trying to make the jingo writer whole. The writer turned down any money, just happy that the lyrics did stick with some of the kids that were the target audience of the PSA.

Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" is a boring "Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty.

Jim was famous for reusing stuff if he didn't feel it had reached its potential. From stuff like reusing the Hogan theme he wrote as 'Ravishing' by Bonnie Tyler, there's a few other familiar ones in his catalogue.

"Monolith" by Redd Kross blatantly borrows parts from "The Air That I Breathe" by the Hollies, but the verse melody is almost identical to "Winterlong" by Neil Young.

Part of Taylor Swift's "Starlight" sounds like a sample of 3Oh3's "Don't Trust Me".
Dani California sounds like Mary Jane's Last Dance.

I always thought "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven, "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand, and to a lesser extent "So Into You" by Atlanta Rhythm Section sounded alike.
Also "All I Wanna Do" by Sheryl Crow and "Stuck in the Middle with You" by Stealers Wheel.
