The use of Harry was great, they rushed the rise and Fall of harry Osborne style stories from the comics, but within the context of the films(what with no Liz Allen or Lil' Normie), but that story while rushed, didn't lose anything.

By the way, I went to Burger King today, and they've got these scratch-off pieces where you have to choose Red Spidey or Black Spidey (the piece is void if both options are scratched). Anyway, both times Black Spidey was the winner.
Just thought I'd share this trivial, uh...trivia.

See, it doesn't seem like many people cared for it, but I really liked it top to bottom minus some very very minor things that I noticed. I definitely want to see it again and throughly enjoyed it.

You can all exhale now, as I know holding your breath in, well breathless, anticipation for my view on this piece de cinema must have been tough on all of you-- my apologies for that, as your role model and hero I should've endeavored to keep you in the know of my opinion much quicker;
Short and to the point-
Two thumbs, eight other fingers, and ten toes way way up, I dug this film. A good time was had by me.

I'd like to see it again too, but, judging by my horrible time yesterday, looks like I'mma have to wait till like f***ing July to do so. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

The best part of the movie was my friend, having to go to the bathroom during the first talk Peter had with Aunt Mae.
Well this set off a cascade effect and about fifteen people took this time to go, and they RAN.
One guy looked like he was doing parkour, and just hopped over the railing into the little hallway that led out of that theatre.
It was pretty damn funny.

I actually really liked it. I felt Venom was a little rushed, but hey now that he's been on film we can have films that focus on Spidey's more interesting villains again. Sandman may just be the best Super-villain in a movie ever. and Bruce Campbell is gold. also, MJ came off as a real bitch, if I were Peter I woulda gone with Gwen or Russian chick who bakes for him instead.

To which I would argue that Venom is an interesting villain, just poorly handled a lot of the time.
If I'm directing a movie based on an already established property, and I don't like a character, I'm not gonna use that character. When some other director takes over, and they like that character, they CAN use him. He's not "gotten outta the way."

Unfortunately, there are some writers out there who don't like him, and so they make fun of him in books, and it's really stupid when they do that. What do they accomplish? Nothing. Ugh.

Black Cat better be in the next one, consider how Up and Down they've been having Peter and MJ, it would be PERFECT.

I'll go now.

Black Cat better be in the next one, consider how Up and Down they've been having Peter and MJ, it would be PERFECT. In a worst case scenario, the director may forego Felicia Harding and use Gwen Stacy as Black Cat, now that it's been established there's an attraction b/w Gwen and Peter, and her original death scene already occurred in the first movie. But I'm just being picky.

Raimi has already pissed on the "comic book loyalists" from the very beginning of the series. Maybe Gwen as the Black Cat could work. Then she could interact with her dad, who was also wasted in this mess.

Just saw it, cool film plenty of action and laughs. Pity about a few plot holes but it was still entertaining. edit: May as well expand on the plot holes ... potential SPOILERS beware! Gwen Stacy is going to the jazz club with Peter ... erm why? Isn't she with Eddie Brock? No mention of the two breaking up at all, yet Eddie/Venom claims it's Peters fault. How does Venom know about the Sandman's daughter? No reference to that anywhere except between the sandman and his family. Harry gets blown up, but then spidey goes to him for help? How come he isn't dead? Why would pete think he is still alive? I don't think Gwen was actually WITH Eddie. I think Eddie was just under that impression, or he was exaggerating because they went out for coffee. Correct. Gwen really had a thing for peter from the beginning. You could tell. My biggest gaffe was...how the hell did peter not sense that Goblin was about to attack him at the beginnign of the movie. It's like they completely abandoned the Spidey Sense in 3.

good point, also, did anyone else notice that Spiderman was going around in broad daylight using his powers without his mask on a little too much?
