It all began when Razor Ramon and Diesel became Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

My dad always told me it was fake, but then so many things started to come together where I couldn't even hold out the disbelief any longer

Believe it or not, but the "all the secrets" thing is no where near true. Only like 65% of the business has been exposed, and kayfabe is still alive and doing very, very well. Anyway, I remember watching Wrestlemania 8 with a room full of my friends> Undertaker gave Jake Roberts a Tombstone on the outside of the ring, and you could clearly see that Jake's head was atleast 6 inches above the ground. Bobby Heenan yelled "Oh my God, I think he broke his neck Monsoon! I think he broke his neck!" Everyone in the room yelled "How fake!". Little did I know that Jake legitimately suffered a serious injury to his neck from taking that move. He had a history of neck problems stemming from a guitar shot from the Honky Tonk Man, and when he was on his way down from the tombstone, the sudden stop caused a jolt in his neck that injured him more than if his head would've hit the floor. Jake holding his neck in pain once they got back inside the ring was real. Go figure. The guy in the mask on that Secrets Revealed thing was none other than Harley Race. And what do you mean by only 60% of the business is exposed? In what sense? Are you talking in an overall in and out business sense or more limited to booking? It's really an inside and out sense, but alot of it applies to the booking as well. Only the simple things are exposed, but pro wrestling is just as much of a live art form as any of the other great live shows in history, like Broadway or what not. A lifelong fan of Broadway may know most of the inside terms and other info of the like, but would still have no Idea how to put it all together, because that extra step of info is at such a deep level, that it has to actually be taught to understand, not just told to. Ther is a ton of this type of info in pro wrestling. A ton. But it could be said and would go right over everyone's head, becaus it can't be understood in an hour long special, and so, It remains as kayfabe.

Jake holding his neck in pain once they got back inside the ring was real. Go figure. I'm sure getting jerked around like that can hurt your neck, especially if it's already injured, but there's no way that that injured him more than if he hit the floor. Actually, when you do a Tombstone, the opponent's head is supposed to be pressed very firmly between his legs, not in front of them. If you're holding the opponent's waist tight enough like you should, and his head is between their legs tightly, when you go down, the pressure Is distributed evenly throughout their body, and if your head were to hit (not too hard of course) the floor, the top of the head would be hurt, but the neck would have a good chance of surviving safely because all of the extra weight that would normally come crashing down is being held in place, not that it should ever be risked though. When Undertaker did the tombstone, his knees were together and Jake's head was out in front. This was before the days of people being seriously injured from tombstones, as It was a relitively new move at the time, and the execution was a little lax compared to today, so it wasn't really anyone's fault. (especially Snitsky!) It's like when you punch a wall. If you use the two knuckles connected to your middle and index fingers, and you arm is perfectly perpendicular to the wall and straight, you may injure your hand, but It'll be very hard to injure your arm, unles you punch as hard as you can. But if you punch at a bad angle, all kinds of damage can happen.

I wouldn't call it fake the way I like to prefer as to it Scripted because while back I got in the ring at a Indy Show after the show was over and the promotor of Bad 2 Bone Wrestling said go ahead and I did as I attempt the Stinger Splash and it knocked my breath out and then I got up and attempt a bumped and that hurt like hell so don't let everyone fool you Wrestling is real at some extent
