Did someone tell you or did you figure it out yourself?
I figured it out when Flair got punched and he did his little fall thing and anytime he got thrown to the turnbuckle he would do a flip.

When people weren't getting bruised faces on a constant basis or at least getting knocked the funk out.
Seriously, I don't recall. I was pretty young though and didn't even watch it at the time.

I saw Hogan blade at WrestleMania 7. Everything from the cut to the ref picking up the razor and putting it back in his pocket.

My parents explained to me as soon as I started watching, I was 6. That's about how it was broken down for me when I first started watching it...might have been older than that. At least my folks were responsible enough to tell that to my brother and I...too keep us from becoming little Lionel Tates.

I don't remember. I think I already knew before-hand.

Figured it out at a young age. It doesn't really take a brain surgeon to figure out something is wrong when a guy gets whacked over the head with a chair several times and gets up just a few seconds later.

I think I always knew. I can't remember my mom ever sitting me down and telling me it was fake, but while I enjoyed it, I never saw it as real, either.

Always knew i reckon but i never really spoke about it or thought about it, i just got caught up in how much fun it was to watch and stuff.
Obviously at one time when i first got into it (when i was about four? first event i remember seeing was Summerslam 91 and the Jailhouse match) i thought it was real but then my dad and uncles and everyone would go "ahh it's fake this, look!! they're not even punching" EVERY time i'd watch, which got annoying. I remember what shut them up was Ric Flair bleeding, so thanks, Naitch.

I always knew as far as I know. I didn't become a fan of wrestling until I was 17 or 18.

Can't remember. But all I know is that at the age of 19, it annoys the ever loving s*** out of me when people remind me.
Seriously. Why do you get the right to say it's fake? Why is it unfair that I can't say a soap opera's fake, but when it comes to wrestling, EVERYONE jumps on the obvious fact?!

I had always heard rumors of it being fake when I was younger (I didn't really start watching until about 1994 or so), but I never really paid them any attention.
