i hate it when during a match if a wrestler gets hit in the back while there down on one knee or all fours, and you clearly see them like set themselves up perfect for a repeated hit, makes it look very very fake.

Big men in Battle Royals/Royal Rumbles: If someone the size of Big Show or Yokozuna were to simply sit in the corner, there is NOBODY on this planet who is going to get 500+ lbs of dead weight over the top rope. Especially when that dead weight is fighting back. And they wouldn't be able to get enough people in that small space to team up and eliminate him. Chance of being fired for not putting on an entertaining match. Fighting spirit. Fighting spirit. Board of Directors. Lazy writers.

RVD's selling of the Five-Star Frog Splash. Everytime it happens, I know his little freakout about how much it hurt HIM is coming. And every single time, it pisses me off. It'd be like Triple H rolling around grabbing his knees after a Pedigree, or Stone Cold whining about how bad his tailbone hurts after a Stone Cold Stunner. We have a winner. Everytime he does that, I think, "Hey moron, there are a lot of moves in wrestling. How about learning one that you can execute without hurting yourself? Maybe Benoit could teach you how to do a falling headbutt without pain." Other little things that bother me: When the wrestlers don't have their timing down, so the ref has to make a very noticable change in his rythum to avoid a 3 count. The evil boss role. I have always hated it. It just never made much sense that he wouldn't fire the person he was mad at. Weird foreign objects under the ring. I can understand chairs and tables and mabye even ladders, but stop signs?

I hate the fact that a title can't change hands on a DQ. Why don't the champion heels just disqualify themselves at the start of each match to leave the ring, keeping the belt and without a scratch on them?

The evil boss thing too, I mean, why Vince mcmahon didn't just fired Stone Cold and strip him off the belt!! I know that if I own a company later and one of my worker kicks my ass every week and humiliate me in front of millions of people, I'm gonna fire his ass so quickly he won't even know what happened to him!!

The occassional mention of the "Board of Directors".
Who are these people?
What are they doing? [/Jerry Seinfeld voice]
Either leave all decisions to a Commissioner, or a GM. Stop metioning the Board. It's silly.

I hate when someone grabs the ropes when in an ankle lock and Angle just pulls them off the rope and he isn't made to break the hold.
I also get irritated when people wait for their opponent to turn around before hitting them with a weapon. Hitting someone in the back of the head will cause a similar amount of damage to the front of the head AND they wont see it coming.
I personally like that RVD sells the frog splash. If it hurts him then it must hurt his opponents more than anyone elses frog splash. I think the criticism (if their needs to be any in this case) should be with those who DON'T sell doing these moves. Also, comparing jumping incredibly high in the air on to someone with doing a pedigree is stupid. The pedigree wouldn't hurt Trips knees cos the fall is miniscule and he wears frigging KNEE PADS!
The fact that the ankle lock is seemingly easy to escape unless you grapevine the legs, yet Angle always waits til about 30 minutes into the match before the idea of grapevining the legs dawns on him.
Wrestlers like XPac and Billy Gunn who knock people down and then walk around the ring posturing. Go for a pin, or a stomp, or a different follow up move. Occassional gesturing to the crowd is fine to get heat but after EVERY move is bloody annoying.
Wrestlers complete lack of defense. Undertaker tries to block punches - maybe some others should attempt this too.
Seemingly everyone having a striking move as a finisher. Exageration, yes, but still annoying.
The fact that people escape the Mandible Claw. The idea of the move is that when applied you are instantly paralised (not forever, obviously). If you aren't paralised it makes the move shit. You'd bite his fingers off if you were able to still move.

I don't know how "small" this is, but televised jobber squashes in general. Umaga's beatdowns, the Masterlock challenge, the Kurt Angle invitational...I don't care how compelling the wrestler involved is, it's just there as a cheap way to show off his moveset, and it's boring. I'd rather see a good match with an established wrestler than a bulldozing of some worker from OVW who you've slapped a generic "young kid in tights trying to get a break on RAW!" gimmick on and then never use again.
Also, when the "Divas" have to get beat up by the "Superstars" as a way to get heat. Hate it. I would fire any writer who came up with that crap.

How a GM will make any match he wants on Raw or Smackdown, but then certain matches need a contract signing.
If Teddy Long makes a wrestler face THE UNDER-TAKER, and he doesn't want to. Why doesn't he just refuse to sign the contract for the match?

Also how on every Raw or Smackdown, you'll see at least one foot on the ropes or holding the tights pin.
A guy can be hit by 5 finishers , 10 chair shots, but at the end of it all, it's his underwear being pulled that causes him to lose.

Hot Tags followed by clothesline a palooza. Come to think of it....are there any other ways to book a tag match? Definitely agree here. I get tired of the hot tags a lot of times. Just because wrestler on team A has been resting for a long time, doesn't make him Superman once he gets the tag, and team B is just constantly getting back up to take the hot tag partners offense? Come on. Also, something that always bothers me is the total 180 dgree turn the announcers have on a face vs a heel. If the evil heel uses a weapon, "That man is despicable and has no soul" however when the squeaky clean face uses a weapon, "Look at the fire in his eyes. He's pulling out all the stops". I know, I know they have to put over the faces to make people know who to cheer for, but it just annoys me. That's why I loved Jesse Ventura's commentary. Also, I can't stand the aforementioned "memory loss" in every commentator in the WWE nowadays.

The fact that heel's seem completlty unable to get a clean win at all.
Ref's never being able to tell someone has interferred behind them.
But what easily annoys me most of all: MNM or just a Nitro match. Face is about to win. 1. 2. AND... Melina has just jumped on top of some one.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if it happened once in a while. But the fact that it happens EVERY match.
What makes it worse is despite the fact the ref knows the face was going to win the title he makes it a DQ because of this last minute interference that was obviously there to SAVE the titles.
The obvious punishment for this is to... make it a DQ so they can still be champion. >.>

I've made this exact point in a previous post. No one else ever sells their splashes as much as RVD. Think about it. D'Lo, Eddie, Val Venis, they never hurt themselves when they hit their finisher. I wouldn't mind him doing it after a long hard match, but not every single time. It makes him look weak.

Agreed, to me it makes no sence to do a move that hurts you too, moreso with 3 and 4 way matches

The fact that wrestling has not really evolved all that much. Why after all this time are most people in charge of running wrestling programs unimaginitive luvheads? Wrestling fans aren't idiots (in most cases) does it really need dumbed down so much? I guess the wrestling business is an old codger type of thing where everyone who has a job knows or blows somebody and fresh faces and ideas are held down to protect the tight-knit "clubhouse" atmosphere.
