Please, if Hogan lost to Orton it would've made him look dumb,IMO. He lost the next night to Flair, by DQ and then went on to lose to Hardy in a #1 contenders match, then was thrust into a pointless feud with Carlito that did nothing, nor push anyone towards title contention for either man. It's just now that Orton is being considered for a world title shot possibly in the near future.

I still to this day and always will get a chill when I see him "Hulk up" during a match, even during the matches I've seen several times from 15 to 20 years ago. It is the charisma for me, Call me a bad fan, but I don't care about his workrate, I'd rather see a typical Hogan match, than a Kurt Angle classic Hogan has "IT". He sucks, but we love him.

Great we got a new Asics Johnson on the board Another who? Dude I am the Boss, a one of a kind. I am an encyclopedia of pro wrestling. No one can post like me. Whether we agree or disagree, whether we discuss or debate, whether we talk straight up or kayfabe, the Boss is the best poster you will ever see. I never said that. I said HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN was correct in saying that Hart was not worth the money WCW put out. I pointed out his failure to draw in both the WWF and WCW as evidence to the claim. He only got the title because everyone else had left. Being the best of the rest does not qualify Michaels to compare himself to HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN. Absolutely not! HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN brought WCW more success than it had ever seen before. WCW thrived under HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN. The promotion stalled when they took the spotlight off of him and placed it on Bill GoldTURD (thanks to Curt Hennig for that name. I love it! lol ). And it totally fell apart under Vince Russo (or WUSS-o ass he calls himself with that Elmer Fudd accent of his. If the blame must be given to one person blame the guy who fired Bischoff, hired WUSS-o, fired him and then was dumb enough to hire him back. WCW never thrived without HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN. They were a nothing promotion before him, they became the top promotion in the world under him, and collapsed after he left. The nWo was better with Hall and Nash than without them to be sure. But face it, without HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN they would have been little more than two guys jumping promotions. Even their WWF invasion angle was killed almost right away when they were a) unable to use their WWF names (which was good) and b) when the WWF threatened a lawsuit, they were forced to admit that they were not employed by the WWF. Essentially they were to heals from a rival promotion. That has been happening in pro wrestling since the beginning. Nothing new. However HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN'S heal turn was a major historical event. That is what turned heads, and that is what fans remember.

HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN grew stale just like THE IMMORTAL HULK HOGAN did before that. Contrary to that point, WCW didn't flop because they took the spotlight off Hogan. Goldberg was OVER. Big time. WCW flopped because their booking got atrocious. They had the biggest names in wrestling on the roster too, and it still flopped. You can have the most popular wrestlers in the world on your roster, but if the booking sucks, your promotion isn't going anywhere. Stars don't make a company, companies make a star.

HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN grew stale just like THE IMMORTAL HULK HOGAN did before that. Then why is HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN still the # 1 draw in pro wrestling today. If he's stale and yet still more popular than anyone else in pro wrestling then every pro wrestler in the world must suck. You can't argue with numbers. HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN is still the man. Bill GoldTURD was not as over as WCW wanted you to believe. While his mysterious presence was interesting at first, fans quickly grew tired of watching his squash nobodies and listening to the announcers praise it like it was a major accomplishment and talk about this undefeated streak. By the way Bill GoldTURD was never undefeated. He lost his first match to Rowdy Roddy Piper. His "Goooold-berg" chants were recordings played over the speaker. Don't believe me? Go back and listen. Every time the chants begin, they begin at full blast. They don't start small and build like real chants do. Also notice how the chants are always in perfect sync at the same volume, the same tempo and in the same vocal tone no matter where they were. That just doesn't happen. It just goes to show that the chants were a recording to make Bill GoldTURD seem more popular. Granted some people bit the bait and joined in, but most people just rolled their eye and changed the channel. And one of those booking problems was taking HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN out of the spotlight and pushing a new guy to the U.S. and World titles before he even learned how to wrestle. My GOD, the man didn't know how to sell a single hold. All he ever did was shake his head. I watched Ric Flair give him a shot to the knee and he stands there going "Ouch my head! Ouch my head!"

I don't disagree that those 2 gimmicks got tired at points, but they were and are fantastic roles, that only 1 guy pulled off. I agree the booking killed WCW, that was blatant. But to say that companies make stars, stars don't make companies, thats just assanine. Without Hogan, WWF never gets to the popularity it has now, we never see Rock, Austin, etc. And then for good measure, he took WCW from the bottom to the top. Now I'm not saying it was all Hogan, but without him, it doesn't even come close to happening.

erm.."the Boss" Asics Johnson was another pro Hogan nut, except he was willing to listen to some reason.
infact the term Asics Baiting was created because all you needed to do was say something negative about Hogan and he'd have a rant
WWE should never have Hogan in the ring ever again..why? because wrestling needs to move on it needs to stand on its own 2 feet without Hogan sniffing around every so often, its not good for the future of the buisness,
dont caps his name like that it would like me typing BRET HART everytime I typed Brets name, it doesn't make the point more valid
Hogan will not live forever, he is a man like any other and one day he will be too old to do anything, and yes one day he will die, its a fact
and another thing HBK never compared himself to Hpogan nor did anyone say it
guys I think we got someone who took Hogans book literaly

Although I would like to personally thank this man for showing us all not to bother debating anything with him from now on, since Hulk Hogan...excuse me, HOLLYWOOLD HOGAN... is the perfect man who can do no wrong in the world of pro wrestling. Curse the future!

Orton beating Hogan would have made no sense. Orton has been jobbing off and on for years. He's been in and out of the doghouse for years. He's not reliable nor has his career been anything after the 2004 botched face turn.
If Hogan went over Cena, then you'd have a point.

I'm just willing to admit that he is the greatest of all time and far more entertaining to watch than anyone else today. That's not ranting, that's just telling it like it is. The problem is that it's not standing on its own two feet. If these so called star of today could carry the ball and draw fans HOLYWOOD HULK HOGAN wouldn't be coming back all the time. The fact is that wrestling is not popular right now. Yet when ever HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN is around, more people attend. HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN is still the #1 draw and that makes him a viable commodity to the sport. I don't capitalise his name. HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN is just so much bigger and better than everyone that he stands out making it appear as though his name is capitalized. So say some (other say he is GOD). But until that day comes, and as long as HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN continues to be the top draw he will forever have a place in the sport.

He's not reliable nor has his career been anything after the 2004 botched face turn. Well said. Oops, I spoke too soon. John Cena is a pathetic excuse for a champion. He is the most hated face in pro wrestling history. I would like nothing more than to see HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN beat Cena for the title and legdrop that Volkswagen hubcap of a belt smashing it to pieces. Then bring out a new title belt that will bring respect back to the WWF World title.

After all I am the Boss. And what makes me the Boss you ask? 'Cause HOLLYWOOD told me so!
