Why does it hurt when you do a splash in a pool? Same reason.

Why does it hurt when you do a splash in a pool? Same reason. it probablly stings a little, but rvd sells it like he's in pain.. and im pointing this out because he's the only one who sells it like that

have u ever done a frog splash? and for that matter, do u get the air RVD gets and the impact as well?
That was one of the things i loved about the move, it made it feel more legit.

I think it's to emphasize just how high he jumps and how hard he lands on the guy.

He's willing to hurt himself to hurt his opponent even more. That's always been RVD's thing.

Plus he usually fights a decent length match, and then getting air like that and landing i'm sure would take alot out of you.

I also think that it adds to the move. Think about it, if delivering the move hurt him that much imagine what the recipient feels.

He's willing to hurt himself to hurt his opponent even more. That's always been RVD's thing. thats more of sabus things.. even though rvd has it a little since he is known to put his body on the line.. but he's not the only frog splasher, but is the only one who grabs himself in pain.

As stated before, he is also the one who gets higher in the air than the others, something that falls from higher up is going to hurt more on both ends. And it's supposed to show he's not holding back, the other guys try to not "hurt themselves" (in this kayfabe reasoning) while doing it, which will make their's not as strong as his.

I think a better question is, why don't any other frogsplash users sell the move? It would obviously hurt you as well as the intended target.

I always thought that was the best thing about RVD's frogsplash, makes it look more effective cause your thinking man if it hurt hit doing the move, i'd hate to be on the recieving end!

That annoys me to. I don't mind if he winces or something, but even if he's pain, damn it RVD, cover the guy, don't just roll around next to him.
