You're right on. When John Cena became champ at WM 21, he was the most loved WWE superstar at the time. Immediately afterward, he was hated.
Edge was also loathed during his mini-title run.

Not so sure about that he has the Mic skills and the Ring skills that people like and isn't Stuck in a gimmick he can't change quickly if it becomes stale.

I really like Mr. Kennedy. If WWE can actually remember this, Kennedy still hasn't gotten a rematch for the US Title from when he lost it to Benoit back in October. Book it for SNME or WM23.

Kennedy is no better than Carlito or XPac, he found something that worked and stuck with it to the point of staleness.
I never understood the fuss with him anyway. A Chuck Palumbo lookalike with a Michael Buffer announcing gimmick? Great.

He wrestles the good ol' generic WWE Main Event Style, and his gimmick is based around being a fake ring announcer who repeats his last name after a long pause. Wow. What a star. And yeah, Edge sure is hated around here isn't he? King Booker? Yeah when he won the title EVERYONE here turned on him. Brock Lesnar? Yeah he was despised. Kurt Angle? Chris benoit? To be fair, after Edge won the title I remember several threads where people were bitching about "Dredge" and "the motherluver who screwed Matt Hardy over" getting the belt. It took along time for people to drop that crap and some still haven't. |

Disliking Kennedy can be so simple, 'cause he's so horribly bland. Not one single thing stands out about the guy.
Sure, he has a big mouth. So did Ralph Kramden, but at least Ralph was entertaining and had a awesome sidekick.

There's always going to be a few people tha tdon't like whoever is in the main event. Doesn't mean there'll be near as much hate as there is for a guy like Lashley.

I just think they're wasting his character with crappy storylines. That's most people's beef because the Double Double E is screwed up (see my sig). Anyone really hate Kennedy?
