I like the slow infusion of Puro moves in ECW.
Thorne should use the Roaring Elbow and call it the Gothic Elbow, and use the Lariat.

People have been stealing moves for years now, no big deal really. I marked for the finisher, seems more effective than the Anaconda Vice,IMO.

If he can pull that off against a big dude like Lashley or Thorn I'd mark..
He just needs to have a finisher that can put away big dudes that doesn't require lifting.
Oh who the heck is KENTA doing the g2s to? THat's been bugging me for years.
i remember KENTA with a shaved head and wearing those tights before...

Anaconda Vice is a legit hold, Go 2 Sleep, while cool, is just a knee to the head It fits his Muay-Tai MMA style perfectly. His setup moves are a bulldog, running knee to the head in the corner, combo strikes to the head, and a springing clothesline, all moves on the head and neck area. Go 2 Sleep is perfect for him. No one outside of NOAH or ROH will know what it is. It's perfect.

Wow, since when did a knee to the head not hurt or potentially KO someone?
Considering that you're lifting a guy and dropping him ONTO a rising knee, with all his weight behind it, it's probably one of the more deadly moves in wrestling.
That's like saying Umaga's finisher is just 'a thumb to the throat'. Remind me to tape my thumb into an immobile spike and then drive it into your windpipe, so you can say 'oh, that didn't cough cough choke'.

Punk should just do the Go 2 Sleep then put the Anaconda Vice on staright afterwards, now that would be awesome!

Punk should just do the Go 2 Sleep then put the Anaconda Vice on staright afterwards, now that would be awesome! I prefer pinning manuvers to submissions, myself. And the Vice seems like an effective hold, but it just doesn't LOOK painful. Punk and the guy just lie there. The Go 2 Sleep, meanwhile, can get a big 'ooooh' from the crowd, which is what it's all about. Plus, there's the whole setup phase of lifting the guy onto the shoulders that can be fought out of.

Well that's cause Punk doens't work the body well, I can't be the only one to notice this, the same people who say Cena doesn't work the body to build up to a submission are not noticing Punk doesn't even work the body to set up the Vice.

Wow... WWE gets some good moves and we still complain and/or rude female and moan... I thought it was waxing awesome and hope he continues to use it. I thought it was awesome too, and like the other guy said, no one apart from the ROH/NOAH audience knows it, so he should continue to do it. High impact finishers usually get a bigger rise out of the crowd anyways.

I really think he should just use a jumping knee to the face.
like he brings the guys face into his rising knee
that's a way more awesome visual

Punk could use a moveset consisting of the Burning Hammer, Razor's Edge, Barry White Driver, Ole Kick, Pele Kick, Northern Lights Driver, Package Piledriver, Lariat and Roaring Elbow and people would still complain.

What's Punk going to call the "new" move? Do they keep the Go 2 Sleep name (which is awesome) or come up with something else?

Hell yeah I would. That would be like that one kid on SvR who gives his character all finishing moves. Well that's cause Punk doens't work the body well, I can't be the only one to notice this, the same people who say Cena doesn't work the body to build up to a submission are not noticing Punk doesn't even work the body to set up the Vice. It's an arm/neck finisher, I know, my favorite wrestler invented it so I'm kind of picky about the move, I don't mind seeing it used in the states, just as long as it's done well. Punks not as bad as Gregory Helms and his Shining Wizard though
