Look, has KENTA complained about this? No? Then what's the big deal? It's a wrestling manuver. Besides, plenty of guys have kicked out of the Go 2 Sleep, so it's not like it has a mythos built around it like Kobashi's Burning Hammer. I mean, I don't see Homicide getting flak for using the Lariat as a finisher. Is Stan Hansen furious over this? Maybe Magnum Kudo is pissed that he also uses the Kudo Driver? Scandal! |

It'd be cool for him to bust it out in big matches, but if we're talking knee-to-the-head-KO-finishers, I don't understand why he doesn't use a vicious Shining Wizard as his finisher. Helms uses it (rather badly IMO and Punk's is 100x better) but still, he uses it. No two guys in the same fed should have the same finisher and seniority takes priority. Helms is more of an enzuigiri, though, isn't it? And when does anyone actually see Helms wrestle? |

I mostly marked for the finish of that match. Nitro, sensing he was one big move away from a win, attempts a beautiful corkscrew moonsault, but misses, then receives a knock out blow from Punk for a decisive win.
How many stupid roll-up wins do you see every week on Raw. I hate it...let there be actual winners and losers!

Ya know, I said to myself last night "If this was ANYONE else besides Punk, everyone would cry about the move being stolen from Japan". I also said to myself that I should prepare for the oncoming internet orgasm, because Punk successfully had the exact same match he's had since his debut, but he added one new move in.
Right on both counts!
Oh well, at least I enjoyed RVD/Thorn, and Snitsky kicking the mexican infants around like he likes to do.

People have ways of seeing things. i think you're givin them too much credit  but maybe i'm being too judgmental, but if the majority of WWE fans were that into wrestling and exploring other promotions, i don't think they'd continue cheering the hell out of people like Batista. idk, i shouldn't judge em anyway. their opinions matter more than mine. |
