I didn't want to put this in the Mike Awsome thread. So I'll put it here.
It's a bad question but one worth asking about. With the way the WWF milked the deathe of Eddie Guerero last year do you think that they may do the same thing to Awsome to try to boost ECW.
I'm not saying they should. It's wrong to milk anyone's death. But do you think the WWF might do this?

If Awesome had been a member of the roster recently, I'd be worried about it, but seeing as he hasn't worked for WWE since 2001, I'd say it won't happen. |

The main difference was that Guerrero was pushed to the WWE Title during his tenure there, whereas Awesome was, sadly, treated as a joke. So, although it wouldn't surprise me, I really don't see it happening. Also, I'm beginning to think that ECW is about as important to Vince as a slap in the face, so I don't think he could really care less about legitimizing it in any way. Of course, I hope I'm wrong about that second point......... |
