Nooo. More WWE overkill.
and the ratings aren't that great, are they? They certainly aren't getting attitude-esque ratings.

A 3.8-4.2 on cable is pretty good no matter what.

I absolutely love 3 hour RAW! always get some great matches. Wasn't there talk of McMahon wanting it to cut down to an hour & a half before?

You guys really should know that it wasn't the LENGTH of Nitro which made it bad....

You guys really should know that it wasn't the LENGTH of Nitro which made it bad.... It seemed like the right decision when it first happened, but towards the end, it certainly didn't help matters. Hence, the show eventually returned to two hours.

I wouldn't mind if it was 3 hours once in a while, but every single week? That would be pushing it.

I wouldn't mind if it was 3 hours once in a while, but every single week? That would be pushing it. Yep. The whole three hour thing was one of the biggest problems WCW ever faced, why would WWE repeat that mistake? Once you go three hours, you have to book for three hours. And honestly, Creative's not capable of booking much more than a half hour of compelling tv a week, so 3 is gonna be pushing it.

It really couldn't work long term.
You could give more time to the undercard. Well most the undercard sucks these day.
You could make the matches longer. Most guys can't put on a good 5 minute match, let alone 10 or 15.
The only way to fill it would be to give HHH, Cena and Mcmahon an extra 20 minutes of promo time every week.

..the biggest problem i find with this: PPV's are 3 hours...giving the TV show the same amount of time just seems like it would cheapen the PPV experience even further imo.

This may sound kinda odd but I still like to tape Raw and SD. I use the 6hr kind cause there are cheaper. So with the six hour tapes I can rec 2 Raws and a SD show. But if they make all Raws 3hrs then that means only 2 shows per tape.

More time to fill means more work for the writers.
And their output is already crap enough.

If a three-hour RAW is on every Monday (for free), what then makes a three-hour PPV (at $39.95) so special? In other words, bad marketing move... (Sorry, Speakeasy - you posted the same thing while I was writing this... : ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cheesy.png)

If it means that some of the talented stars who only wrestle on Heat get to be on Raw, then I'm all for it.
