I'm against the idea, because even if WWE did use the time well, 3 hours every Monday is pretty hard to set aside time for, and I'm sure that's not just me.
Watch, get up to do X, watch, get up to do Y and Z, before you know it, you missed a great match.

Honestly I have no problem with this idea.
I think it'd be interesting to see what they could do with the time every week, and I liked 3 hour Nitros...sooo yeah.
But maybe it's just me.

you guys already hit the nail on the head with the pros and cons of going three hours. my pproblem is that USA needs to worry about the rest of the week of programming that surrounds Raw.

It would be neat if Raw had cruiserwieghts to showcase in the 1st hr like old WCW, but they dont. Which is why it's a bad idea. Now if Raw booked that 1st hr like the old Velocity it would rock, especially now that they got Londrick.

Is this any surprise? They're giving RAW three hours because it just wants to be, wants to be luh-uh-uved.

This means...more Snitsky?... More Val Venis? More Super Crazy? More Midcard?!
I love the midcard! Bring up some developmentals and let it ride!...or not.
Really, 3hrs is great for a dedicated wrestling fan with nothing better to do on a monday night...which fits me to a tee... but it can't possibly be good for business in the long run.
I'm pretty sure someone mentioned this...it takes away from PPVs. When they announce a special 3-hr Raw it feels like they're announcing a free PPV...at least to me.
So, my opinion is: I'd like it, but it probably isn't the best idea in the world.

Id rather them Use that for ECW... That is not a horrible idea. Since Sci-fi and USA fall under the same umbrella, they probably could work out a second 1 hr ECW show that airs on USA.

2 hour ECW? So is the whole roster gonna wrestle every week? I can't imagine 3 hour RAWs being good for bussiness. For every good match we would get, there would be like 3 servings of crap. More importantly as others have allready said it would just kill PPVs. If I really try to think positivly I guess PPVs could benifit from feuds that are built up, and if RAW was pretty much left as is, but with matches being given more time it could be good. We actually do get to see tag teams and midcarders, just in two and a half minute matches that take less time than Lashley recap #5 does.

On one hand, it actually could be good if they used it to devote more time to wrestling and building a solid undercard. However, we'll just get more Cena/Lashley/DX/Face of the week sketches and no more wrestling.
I actually don't mind it being 3 hours as much if it's a good 3 hours. The problem is they won't know what to do with it since their formula has always been 2 hours.

As long as they brought some new people up to help fill time rather than having extra HHH, Cena, HBK segments, it could be good. Bam Bam?
