I want to shout 'SMARKBAIT!' as this, but I was under the impression that PWInsider is usually quite accurate. (Correct me if I'm wrong) They're in the top 2 I'd say as far as accuracy goes. And they've said all along that Dave Lagana has the biggest freaking man crush on Morrison you can imagine. So this wouldn't shock me one bit. But again, I'll wait and see. |

For the record...
Transitional Champion--A person ("Two") who wins the title from one Champion ("One") and almost immediately loses it to someone else ("Three"), the most likely reason being that Creative wanted Three to have said title, and no reasonable change/feud with One was possible/didn't want to be done.
Complacence Champion--A person ("Two") who wins a title from a Champion ("One"), only to drop it back to One a short time later. Reasons include, but are not limited to: One needed some time off; One is suspended for a short period and cannot be active for a short time; to shut the fans up, most likely when Two is popular, but is a person that Creative does not want to push.

Well honestly, I'm just happy that Punk won a world championship period. Sucks that it'll probably be a short reign. I didn't expect he'd have it long anyways, and besides it's probably more than what Samoa Joe could say for his TNA run thus far. |

yeah it's been said before, and I"m going to say it again.
Punk doesn't need the title, I still think they are letting Punk get used to thing and simmer in with the crowd, he doesn't need the belt for stories or character or pop. He is great on his own.
John Morrison's character screams champion and he needs to keep that belt around, it just seems essential to his character at this point that he's the World Champ.
I don't care if he was on steroids or not, that doesn't mean anything to me, he is as entertaining as hell, puts on some great matches, and if they want to let him cut his interviews I'll be glad to listen.
I for one can't wait for him to get back, and just simply thinks it sucks that they suspended him in the first place when he was on such a great roll.

I wonder if they'd try explaining that to the crowd that popped HUGE when he won Methinks Creative was in deep thought trying to haphzardly rewrite WWE TV for the next several months to notice.  |

Although I'd rather have the sheep frothing over C.M. Punk than Matt Hardy, so I tend to be much more lenient in thinking the Punk Rulez comments are coming from just a bunch of man monkeys.

Also this sends a wonderful message: Do you do steroids? Did you shame our company and the wellness policy by going through an illegal online pharmacy? No problem! Just get suspended for a month and come back and we'll restore the status quo for you no questions asked! This is exactly the point I came to this thread to make, but you beat me to it. It's very sad that Vince is seemingly learning nothing from this. |

Give Punk a long reign, a guy who hates drug abuse is the BEST POSSIBLE THING for WWE PR at the moment.
He could easily end up being the most over champ in ECW (WWE version) history if done right.

Really, Punk is the one popular as f*** star on ECW. Hell, I watch ECW just for him (no offense to Dreamer and Jobber Richards), but Morrison is OK.
Thing is, the Morrison-marks on WC will concede this: Punk has charisma. "Only Losers Need Luck!" Damn, I always marked for that.
Anyway, when Morrison returns from his suspension, how about he earn himself as worthy in the eyes of the fans as a douchebag heel?
I mean, despite the lack of mic skills, Morrison has alot of talent. Its just, him taking the ECW belt after 30 days is silly. 3 Months? Fine.

That sucks for Punk if true. But what can he do if theres nobody lobbying for him like Dave Lagana for Morrison. Crap likes that just makes me angry because Punk is the one guy that should be pushed right now and Morrison has zero heat with the fans anyway.
