I like PWinsider but sometimes it seems like they have it out for Punk and Matt Hardy and others. So I'll believe this when I see it.

I refuse to take notice of anything PWinsider reports due to their ridiculous amount of pop ups. If you type it in google, it even warns you that 'this site may harm your computer'.
And regarding ECW crowd reactions, I would say they are getting much better and of course the reaction to Punk winning the title was incredible but when it comes to PPV's they often don't get too much a reaction because it is billed as the lesser of the the three world title matches.

Morrison is not over. Punk is. You don't put someone who isn't over as one of your top champions. All that does is devalue the title, I mean if the fans don't care about the champion, then how can they care about the title? Punk is the only guy in ECW right now that the fans really care about. And WWE needs to realize this, Punk is the only guy in ECW that the fans treat like a star. I read that Steve Austin gave a speech backstage at Summerslam talking about how nobody there is a star. Well it's kind've hard to be a star when the company pushes people that the fans don't care about and constantly find ways of keeping the hot guys cooled off. Punk needs to hold on to the title until December-Janurary and then move to Smackdown to go after the U.S. Title. A 3-4 month ECW Title reign will not only help elevate Punk even more, but to also help give the brand the champion they need. I always wanted Punk as champion because he basically carried the show for most of the year especially during the Lashley and McMahon reigns. is this a double QFT |

Morrison is gradually becoming over; the crowd is just tired of the same old "Morrison wins, Morrison wins, Morrison wins" that plays over and over, so they just roll their eyes instead of booing. Same thing happened to Umaga a while ago, it was when he wasn't steamrolling the champ that he got over.
My opinion? Punk needs to keep it. Morrison needs to chase him for it, THEN we can talk Morrison getting the belt back. I'm still one of Johnny's biggest fans, but I don't think it does anyone any good with one sided feuds.

It's the written equivalent of shock TV. If all they did was speak the truth is "We really have no idea what they are going to do with CM Punk." it would be boring and generate less traffic.
For example: How long has HHH supposed to have been winning the Title and/or at WM? Yet when they report "Rumor is HHH to bury (insert anyone here) and the IWC freaks out. So the more these sites freak you out, the more you visit them for more crappy info. And you love it.
It's a pretty simple business strategy.
