I find it hilarious that he said all that, but is doing currently everything he despises.
But hey, a job's a job, right?

I loved watching the "shoot" when it happened, but considering that he does every. last. thing. he complained about here on ECW, I basically have zero credibility in Styles. That probably wouldn't be the case if WWE hadn't had him cut this "shoot".

Well, don't forget that when he did this "shoot" ECW was supposed to be closer to what it used to be than it ended up being.

I loved this shoot so much. It was great, and in my opinion would have been even better if he had been surrounded by Heyman, Tazz, Stevie Richards, Dreamer, RVD, etc. Just so he could have had some other people to work with. It might have taken the shoot part out of it, but it still would have been a heck of a promo.

That probably wouldn't be the case if WWE hadn't had him cut this "shoot". Well considering that this "shoot" is a tool to build up the ECW brand rather than Joey Styles personal feelings, I don't think Styles is being hypocritical. Many wrestlers and on-screen personalities have contradicted to what they say, so this isn't a big deal, especially on a fake sport such as wrestling. Whoever says Joey Styles is a hypocrite or he "sold out" need to think that he has family to take care of, and would rather work for a company where he is guaranteed financial and personal security rather than keeping his old beliefs and struggling to make ends meat.

Meh, he's not a hypocrie just because he still has bills to pay. No. not at all. But if he were going to contradict himself so badly, he shouldn't've said it all in the first place, no matter how much money Vince paid him to do so.

There may be a HUGE possibility that it was all scripted, can't it? Certainly it was, and I'm sure at the time they had designs on making the ECW product somewhat resemble the old one, but in retrospect it is hypocritical if you're going by that particular promo. Not saying there's anything wrong with staying on in WWE or anything, but if you're going by the storyline he's doing everything that he was against.

Nowadays one can hear Styles refer to wrestlers as "blue-chippers" & use other such J.R.-isms. It won't be too long 'til he's reffering to Big Daddy V as being "Pet Coon Goofy".

There may be a HUGE possibility that it was all scripted, can't it? Of course it's scripted, but the scripting made him later look like a huge hypocrite with no credibility.
