It is well known that if you want to hit it big in the WWE,that you have to be excessively large.
Whether its the giants(Andre,Big Show, and Great Khali, all who have held major belts in the promotion),the heavies(King Kong Bundy,Yokozuna, and Big Daddy V.All who have headlined major PPVs.) or the super freaks(Hulk Hogan,Ultimate Warrior,Batista, and Brock Lesnar, all multi-time champs.) Vince always has a hard on for the big fellas.
But for every big man Vince and the WWE sign on,their will be a big guy with natural God-given talent that misses his chance, because he "doesn't have the right look" or is "unmarketable",and when said big guy DOES make it,he is made out to be a buffoon(Vader) or is tragically misused(Bam Bam Bigelow)
For every Bam Bam,their are a hundred Nathan Jones.
Which awesome big guys has the WWE misused or missed out on?

The Ruler of the World, well, I guess they didn't miss out, but they could have done better

Seconded on Vader and Mike Awesome. Tomko and Bernard are a lot more talented now than they were wrestling in the WWE.

I wouldn't say Mike Awesome really.
Considering all his personal problems.
Vader could have been better used than he was.
I will say they missed the boat on A-train.

I genuinely believe Matt Morgan was the worst used talent in a very, very long time.
Mike Awesome's pretty high up there as well, but WCW is partly to blame for that.

Kurragan - I always thought he was a good big man.
Giant Silva - Yeah, he sucked, but was he any worse than Khali? He could have been the decades Great Khali.
Golga - Yeah I know it was John Tenta AKA Earthquake, but the Golga character was great and he pretty much kept the Oddities alive in the ring. He could have had a much stronger run with the Golga character.

He was in a few movies from what I remember.I don't think he's been doing much wrestling after his WWE stint. And I'll agree with what everyone says about Mike Awesome. They could have easily pushed him to the moon and have no problems whatsoever. He was one of very few wrestlers who truly had what would be called the "total package". He could wrestle better then 90% of the WWE roster and perhaps ANY roster in the U.S. Built like a greek-god. Could pull off some ridiculously sick looking bumps, and when used properly, looked like the most brutal man alive. Another thing about him was that he was very.....pro-wrestling, whether its his promos that are half-piss your pants scary half- tongue in cheek "I'm going to turn your FACE!...into MASHED PATATERS!!SO UP-YOURS!!" the expressions he makes during said promos "I knocked her TEETH down her f-ing THROAT!!" in which he bulges his eyes and breathes heavily. Or his deliciously cheesy theme music that will either have you soiling your drawers or laughing out loud. Awesome came off as the physical manifestation of all things pro-wrestling,and the ultimate pro-wrestler,of which he was both. It is a shame, the big-timers(Both Vinces) missed out on him when they had the chance.

I was thinking A-Train, the built him like a monster, and then forgot that he was on the roster.

I was thinking A-Train, the built him like a monster, and then forgot that he was on the roster. I didn't get that at all. One week he's fueding with Taker, the next he's just on velocity. I really hope he comes back to WWE soon and I really think he can be something. I thought WWE missed the boat on Chuck Palumbo and Jamal. But now they are both back in WWE, Umaga is one of the top guys in WWE, and Palumbo is being built into a good midcard guy.
