Jamie Noble

James Howard Gibson (born December 23, 1976) better known by his ring name Jamie Noble, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown! brand also as a Road agent/producer to SmackDown!'s cruiserweight division. He is also known for his appearances with Ring of Honor and World Championship Wrestling in its cruiserweight division.

Gibson started wrestling in 1995 after being trained by Dean Malenko, briefly working for the Jacksonville, Florida based Renegade Championship Wrestling.


World Championship Wrestling
His first national exposure was in World Championship Wrestling. He wore a mask to hide the fact that he was Caucasian and was called Jamie-San; as part of Leia Meow's Jung Dragons with Jimmy Yang and Kaz Hayashi. They feuded with "3 Count" (Shane Helms, Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias). He eventually unmasked and became Jamie Knoble to form a tag team with Karagias.


World Wrestling Entertainment
Gibson later signed with World Wrestling Entertainment under the name Jamie Noble. He made his debut as a heel on the June 6, 2002 episode of SmackDown! by attacking the Hurricane and was joined by Nidia in a trailer park trash gimmick. He won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and feuded with Tajiri and Billy Kidman. Noble and Nidia both turned face by befriending Torrie Wilson and Billy Gunn. He also started a feud with Rey Mysterio for the Cruiserweight Championship. Noble then getting an inheriment turning both Nidia and Noble rich. She finally left him after she was "blinded" by Tajiri's mist and Noble who became a heel again did things he thought Nidia couldn't see and lied to her about them. A match was then scheduled for the both of them aganist each other at No Way Out, with Noble being blindfolded. Noble came out on top after cheating to see where Nidia was. He left WWE on September 15, 2004 when his steroid usage came to light following a staph infection which WWE suggested a contractal release (which at first Gibson was a little disappointed) to return when ever he wants.


Independent Circuit
After his Staph Infection came to an end, he began wrestling promotions all over the world including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Heartland Wrestling Association, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor, PowerSlam Pro Wrestling and Italian Championship Wrestling, as James Gibson. On June 28, 2005, it was confirmed that he would be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment after a one year absence and fulfilling his independent circuit commitments. Before returning to WWE, he became the ROH World Champion when he wrestled as James Gibson in an elimination four-way match against CM Punk (champion), Samoa Joe, and Christopher Daniels on August 12, 2005. He lost the title to Bryan Danielson on September 17, 2005.


Return to World Wrestling Entertainment
Jamie Noble made his return to WWE on the December 17, 2005 edition of Velocity and would later frequently team with fellow cruiserweight Kid Kash; during May 2006, Noble and Kid Kash debuted a gimmick, where they would wear dog collars as well as bark and bite and had a short face turn. The pair turned heel again and were soon named The Pit Bulls and would enter the hunt for the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, the team came to an end after Kid Kash's release from the company on September 27, 2006.

Afterwards, Noble would return to competing in the cruiserweight division and jobbing to the stars like Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashley. At No Way Out, Noble competed in a cruiserweight Gauntlet Match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. He was eliminated by his former WCW teammate, Jimmy Wang Yang.

Noble returned to television on the June 8 edition of SmackDown!, teaming up with Chavo Guerrero and Daivari against Paul London, Brian Kendrick and Jimmy Wang Yang in a losing effort. On the June 15 edition of Smackdown, Noble competed in a Fatal Four Way number 1 contenders match for the Cruiserweight Championship, which he lost to Jimmy Wang Yang and also involved Shannon Moore and Daivari. In July, Noble would come up short in a Triple Threat Match for the Cruiserweight Championship against Champion Chavo Guerrero and Funaki. Noble then competed in the Cruiserweight Open at The Great American Bash but was pinned by Hornswoggle. Noble would then begin a feud with Hornswoggle that would see him lose in various humiliating fashions, usually by count-out. Shannon Moore would constantly use his obsession with Hornswoggle to humiliate him as well.

Mickie James

Mickie Laree James (born on August 31, 1979) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment wrestling on its RAW brand.

As a three-time former WWE Women's Champion, she defeated both Trish Stratus and Lita for her first two championships, and pinned Victoria in a Triple Threat Match also involving Melina Perez to win Melina's title and claim her third reign as champion.

Mickie James made her professional debut in the summer of 1999 as a ring valet for KYDA Pro Wrestling in Manassas, Virginia. She started out managing some of the most popular stars in the promotion such as Steve Corino and Tommy Dreamer, but eventually found herself being drawn into feuds with other wrestlers and their valets and managers. Eventually Mickie chose to step into the ring as a wrestler herself. Although most of Mickie's matches have been against women, some of her most memorable matches would be against men. She scored her first big win in a match against Sean Lei.

James' career has gone through many promotions. In late 1999 she expanded out to other promotions including all-female promotions Beautiful Babes of Wrestling (BBOW) and Professional Girl Wrestling Association (PGWA). She probably made her largest impact wrestling for Maryland Championship Wrestling, where she engaged in several long-running feuds. In January 2001, Mickie made her debut appearance for two new women's promotions, Dangerous Women of Wrestling (DWOW) and Women's Extreme Wrestling (WEW). Both promotions worked together to promote women's wrestling with a hardcore edge, and WEW had regular monthly pay-per-view matches. James' feuds in WEW include matches against "Prime Time" Amy Lee, Dee-Dee Venturi, a re-ignition of her feud with Candie from MCW, and the start of a new series of feuds with "Simply Luscious" Ronnie Stephens. Her matches against Stephens stretched to many independent promotions in the northeast. Mickie also made her name internationally by wrestling on early Ring of Honor cards. She had a kayfabe sister called Valentina Laree as part of an angle during her indie days (when Mickie's ring name was Alexis Laree).


Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
Mickie, as Alexis Laree, debuted in NWA TNA as a TNA Knockout on their second-ever PPV in late 2002 as part of the all-women's Lingerie Battle Royal. However, she wasn't prominently featured until the March 26, 2003 PPV, when she helped out the Amazing Red in a mixed tag-team match against Kid Kash and Trinity. Two weeks later, the two women had a match against each other that ended prematurely when James was dragged away by Raven, who had recently debuted. Later that evening, it was revealed that James had joined Raven's new group, The Gathering, which would later be expanded with the addition of Julio Dinero.

The Gathering was a smaller part of Vince Russo's "Sports Entertainment Xtreme" (S.E.X.) stable. With Raven assuming some control of the group, they immediately focused on Raven's attempt to take the NWA World Heavyweight Championship away from champion Jeff Jarrett. Over the next few weeks The Gathering broke away as James and Dinero helped Raven win his matches and would even start engaging Jeff Jarrett himself. On April 16, 2003, Jeff Jarrett was challenged to a Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match against James and Dinero; this marked the first time a woman had ever participated in this dangerous style of cage match. Jarrett powerbombed James from the top rope and through a table with Dinero laying on top. However, Raven ran in, attacked Jarrett with his "Raven Effect" DDT, and put Dinero on top for the pin. Raven would lose his first-ever NWA World Heavyweight title match against Jarrett two weeks later.

The Gathering arose again shortly thereafter, starting a feud with Father James Mitchell and his Disciples of The New Church faction. On July 30, 2003, The Gathering lost a Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match against The New Church. Mickie again participated in this match, making her the only woman to participate in it twice. At the end of the match, she was hit in the face by a fireball from Mitchell and would not be seen on NWA/TNA broadcasts again.

On August 18, 2003, James was offered a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Despite some reports, she was not replaced in The Gathering by CM Punk; they were actually both in The Gathering at the same time, she was just shifted out of it.


Ohio Valley Wrestling
However, October 2003 would mark a new calling for Mickie. She was signed to a developmental contract and immediately sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in Louisville, Kentucky to begin training.

In early 2004 she started making television appearances for the OVW promotion, still using the ring name "Alexis Laree", she was regularly included in storylines including feuds with Jillian Hall, Melina, Trudi Denucci, Nikita Fink, Passion, Shaniqua, Melissa Coates, Ms. Blu, Beth Phoenix, and Shelly.

In the Summer of 2005, she and CM Punk were reunited for the first time since The Gathering. She served as Punk's valet for a taping of WWE Heat in Cleveland, Ohio on July 25, 2005. The match was not aired, for conflicting reasons. Plans to team the two together and bring them to TV were abandoned. Prior to this, she also briefly appeared on television for Memphis Wrestling in April 2005.


World Wrestling Entertainment

2005-2006
She made her debut on the main roster during the October 10, 2005 episode of RAW under her real name: Mickie James, and was billed as an obsessed fan of Trish Stratus. She came to the aid of Stratus with Ashley following an attack by Victoria. In her first televised match a week later — a tag team match with Ashley Massaro and Trish Stratus against Victoria, Candice Michelle, and Torrie Wilson — ended with James being pinned by Victoria. Reflecting her idolation of the then-Women's Champion, her behavior in the coming weeks became increasingly bizarre. She dressed up as 'Trish Stratus' (complete with a crudely constructed replica of the Women's Championship strap) during a Diva Halloween Costume Contest on RAW. She also began utilizing Stratus' established finishing moves, the Chick Kick (re-dubbed the "Mick Kick") and the Stratusfaction, to win her matches. James even helped Stratus to win the "Fulfill Your Fantasy" Diva battle royal for the WWE Women's Championship at Taboo Tuesday, by eliminating herself as she eliminated Victoria.

On the December 12 edition of RAW, James defeated Victoria with her debuting Tornado DDT finisher to receive a match against Stratus for the Women's Championship at New Year's Revolution. Subsequently, James developed a lesbian crush on Stratus, frequently getting her into various compromising situations, such as kissing her beneath the mistletoe and interrupting her in the shower. Following her pinfall loss to Stratus for the Women's Championship at New Year's Revolution, James commented that it "felt like silk" when her skin touched Stratus'. Hints at James' heel turn began after she attacked fan favorite Ashley during a tag-team match. At the Royal Rumble, James faced Massaro in a match where Stratus was the Special Guest Referee. Before the match, James confessed her "love" for Stratus, and after her win, attempted to celebrate with her hero, but Stratus did not cooperate.

In February, James tried to put the moves on Stratus' kayfabe boyfriend Jack and claimed to be a victim of an unwanted advance by Jack even though she was the aggressor. Subsequently, James provocatively licked an oversized photograph of a lingerie-clad Stratus on television. Stratus confronted James and asked that they "maintain their space." On the March 18 WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, James agreed to give Stratus her space. The two shook hands as though they were parting ways, but James attempted to hug and kiss her partner. James then attacked Stratus after she pushed her away, thus completing her heel turn. In March, it was revealed that James had a shrine to Trish, which included dozens of pictures of Trish with her eyes cut out. James continued to play mind games with Stratus for several weeks stating that even though "I (James) admired Trish for so long" at WrestleMania 22 she had two goals, to take the Women's Championship and to see Trish's destruction.

At WrestleMania 22, James defeated Trish Stratus following a Mick Kick, to claim her first Women's Championship in her debut WrestleMania pay-per-view. During the match, despite the fact that James was the heel, the fans frequently cheered for her and booed Stratus whenever she hit an offensive move. On the April 3 edition of RAW, James came down to the ring dressed as Stratus, complete with a blonde wig, Stratus' wrestling attire, and theme music that began with Stratus' laughter as in Stratus' theme music. Stratus responded by dressing and acting like James the next week in an attempt to play mind games with her rival. James was disqualified in her Women's Championship match against Stratus at Backlash 2006.

On the May 8 edition of RAW, following James' attack on Maria, an unknown woman confronted James. The women was removed by security, but it seemed as though James knew her because she shouted at her as she left the arena. The woman, later revealed as then baby face, Beth Phoenix, attacked James on RAW for several weeks, repeatedly shouting "I'm not going to let you get away with what you did to me!" This feud was cut short, after Phoenix injured her jaw in a match against Victoria.

James lost her Women's Championship on the August 14 edition of RAW to Lita after she hit James with the belt while Edge distracted the referee. James then turned face once again. Mickie's rematch occurred on the August 28 edition of RAW, but she once again lost to Lita after she used the ropes for leverage. James was defeated by Trish Stratus in Stratus' last match on September 11, where they both hugged each other following the match. Because she was retiring, Stratus' title was vacated, which led to a Women's Championship Tournament to determine the new champion. In the tournament, James defeated both Victoria and Melina, before losing to Lita at Cyber Sunday. Mickie and Lita fought in a series of matches where Lita took an unfair advantage over Mickie by having her legs shackled together, one arm tied behind her back, or being blindfolded. At Survivor Series 2006, James won her second Women's Championship by pinning Lita in Lita's retirement match.


2007

James at a Raw live event.On the November 27, 2006 episode of RAW, Victoria won a Divas Battle Royal to face James at New Year's Revolution for the WWE Women's Championship. After several weeks of feuding, James pinned Victoria at New Year's Revolution, successfully defending her Women's Championship. Following New Year's Revolution, Melina would become the #1 contender for the WWE Women's Championship. For a brief time, Mickie would align herself with Super Crazy against Melina and Johnny Nitro. On the February 5, 2007 episode of RAW, Mickie defeated Melina to retain the title, but two weeks later, she lost her championship to Melina. On the March 5 edition of RAW, Mickie James got a rematch, where she participated in the first ever Women's Falls Count Anywhere Match. Melina pinned Mickie after she attempted to do a Frankesteiner from the top rope, which Melina blocked, causing James to fall on her neck and almost causing a serious injury.

Melina booked a photo op of herself with the title on the next RAW which Mickie James interrupted and attacked the reigning Women's Champion with the Mickie DDT. This would begin another feud between the two over the Women's Championship. On April 24 at a live event in Paris, France, James won the WWE Women's Championship for the third time in a triple threat match against Melina and Victoria. However, on the orders of Jonathan Coachman, Mickie defended the title later that same night and was pinned by Melina with her feet on the ropes.

Tommy Dreamer

Thomas Laughlin (born February 14, 1971), is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name, Tommy Dreamer. He is currently under contract to World Wrestling Entertainment and wrestling on the ECW brand.

In addition to his current role, Dreamer is — arguably — best known for the time he spent in the Philadelphia based Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion, of which he has been called the "heart and soul". Though he only held the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once in his time with the company — for a grand total of about 30 minutes — he was regularly embroiled in the company's most visible storylines on screen and involved in the booking, some of the business decisions, and, like a number of other ECW wrestlers, was part of the day to day operations of the company off screen.

Breaking In
Laughlin was trained in professional wrestling by Johnny Rodz. His first notable foray into the business came when he worked in International World Class Championship Wrestling (IWCCW) under the name T. D. Madison. While there he and his kayfabe brother, G. Q., held the IWCCW Tag Team Championship three times in 1991. He changed his name to Tommy Dreamer in 1992 while working in the New England based Century Wrestling Alliance (CWA), where he held the CWA Heavyweight Championship once.


Extreme Championship Wrestling
Tommy Dreamer joined Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1993, just before its name change to Extreme Championship Wrestling. His first major gimmick in the company had him wrestling his matches in garish green suspenders and acting as something of a "pretty boy" — at least in relation to the rest of the ECW roster. This gimmick got him soundly booed by crowds, even when he became the first person in wrestling history to "kick out" out of the pin that follows the Superfly Splash of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.

After Michael Fay was arrested in Singapore and sentenced to a caning, ECW head booker Paul Heyman decided to capitalize on the publicity by holding a Singapore Cane match between Dreamer and The Sandman — with the loser having to take 10 lashes. After losing the match Dreamer took his lashes, then asked the Sandman for another, causing the crowd to feel sympathy for him as he took the extra, and another. This was a launching point to an angle that ended up blurring wrestlings "face" and "heel" divide, as well as start a new way or working the fans, especially the "smarks" — fans with some amount of inside information. In a later match Dreamer (kayfabe) accidentally blinded the Sandman, first by knocking a lit cigarette into his eye, then hitting in the other with a Singapore cane. Immediately after, Dreamer seemed to break kayfabe and started aiding the Sandman. He professed that he "didn't mean to do it" and that it was "an accident" as other wrestlers — face and heel — swarmed out to help. The feud eventually ended with Sandman planning to announce his retirement at an ECW show, only to attack Dreamer and reveal he was never actually blind.

Though the blind Sandman angle was his first "major" feud in ECW, his later, years long feud against Raven that started in April of 1995 is arguably his most memorable. The two were portrayed as childhood friends who had been competing in different ways their entire lives. Raven's entrance into ECW had him accompanied by Beulah McGillicutty, an overweight girl from their kayfabed childhood who had a crush on Dreamer and was now a Penthouse Pet. Dreamer and Raven (and Raven's Nest) feuded for two years with Dreamer never getting a win over Raven until Raven's last match in ECW, a Loser Leaves Town match. By the end of the feud, Beulah had left Raven and was Tommy's valet.

After Raven went to World Championship Wrestling, Dreamer began a feud with the World Wrestling Federation's Jerry "the King" Lawler. The feud was largely symbolic, with Dreamer representing Extreme Championship Wrestling's "new school" style of wrestling as a concept and Lawler (with James E. Cornette) representing the World Wrestling Federation and United States Wrestling Association's more "old school" way of doing things.

In 1998, Dreamer had a short feud with the Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von), during which they (kayfabe) broke Beulah's neck. In 1999, on their last night in the company, they cited this incident to get Dreamer to accept a challenge for the ECW Tag Team Championship they had won earlier in the night. He did accept, and got the title, but was paired with the unexpected partner Raven, who slid into the ring at the last second and made the pin. The team only lasted a short time before it dissolved, with Raven taking the title and choosing Mike Awesome as his new partner. He also, begrudgingly, became ECW World Heavyweight Champion in 2000 by beating Tazz at CyberSlam, only to lose it to Justin Credible just one match later.

When speaking of his title reigns on The Rise and Fall of ECW documentary produced by WWE Home Video Dreamer is quoted as saying:

“ I was actually pissed off. I wanted to go my entire ECW career without winning titles. The only reason I won titles is because guys left. ”

Dreamer stayed with ECW until it folded in 2001, defeating C. W. Anderson in an "I Quit" match at Guilty as Charged — the final pay-per-view — and teaming with Danny Doring in a win over Julio Dinero and EZ Money in the final independent ECW show.


World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment
After ECW closed its doors Dreamer spent time in various independent leagues throughout the country before he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He was introduced to WWF audiences on the July 9, 2001 episode of Monday Night RAW as a member of the WCW/ECW Alliance during the Invasion angle. When the angle ended in February, Dreamer was sent to the WWF's "farm territory" Heartland Wrestling Association.

He was brought back to the main roster of the now-renamed World Wrestling Entertainment in April and placed on the RAW "brand". There he was given a gimmick that proclaimed he was "Just a Regular Guy", for which he was featured in vignettes and backstage segments showing him in normal situations that were then augmented by "disgusting" antics such as brushing his teeth and his dogs teeth with the same brush and eating food from the floor. However, this angle was short lived. He soon reverted back to his "Innovator Of Violence" gimmick and amassed 14 reigns as Hardcore Champion. During this time; he was the final person to hold it before it became unified with the Intercontinental Title in a match with Rob Van Dam. After losing the Hardcore Championship, Dreamer renewed his feud with Raven, defeating him in a Loser Leaves RAW match on June 24 to send him to RAW's sister show, HEAT.

As 2003 and 2004 went on, Dreamer was used less and less on WWE television, and they began allowing him to take independent bookings, and work as color commentator for their "farm territories" Ohio Valley and Deep South Wrestling. When his performers contract expired, he took a succession of "office jobs" inside World Wrestling Entertainment.


ECW brand

Dreamer and a fan drinking beer at an ECW live event.In 2005, Dreamer was a major part of the ECW One Night Stand "reunion show" pay-per-view held under the World Wrestling Entertainment banner. He, along with a number of former ECW stars, took part in promotional hype for the event on episodes of RAW and, with the Sandman, he wrestled the Dudley Boyz in the main event. For the 2006 event he was placed into an angle that had him and Terry Funk — who had been his "mentor" in the early days of the original ECW — at odds with Mick Foley and Edge over the meanings of "extreme". The angle ended with a six-person-intergender-tag team match at the pay-per-view where Dreamer, Funk, and Beulah McGillicutty lost to Edge, Foley, and Lita.

When the ECW brand officially launched on the Sci Fi channel, Dreamer and the Sandman were put into one of the brands first feuds, an "old school versus new school" feud, against Test and Mike Knox. In November and December he engaged in a short feud with Daivari and The Great Khali, but Khali was sent to the RAW brand before it could come to a conclusion. Not long after Khali left ECW, The New Breed stable was established, consisting of wrestlers new to ECW. In response a stable of ECW Originals was created, and the two battled throughout the spring of 2007 until a number of roster moves left the Originals nearly barren.

In late 2007, Dreamer took part in the ECW brand's Elimination chase to name a #1 contender to the ECW Championship. During the series of matches, also involving Stevie Richards, Elijah Burke, and Kevin Thorn he added a bandana, worn on his head, to his ring gear. He received the original one from a young boy with a brain tumor, and from then on began wearing one as a sign of solidarity and strength to anyone going through that struggle. Dreamer emerged victorious in the final match against Burke, only to be surprised to find himself having to face Big Daddy V, who promptly beat him for the #1 contendership.

Carlito

Carlos Edwin Colón, Jr. (born on February 21, 1979) is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler better known internationally by his ring name Carlito; while in his native Puerto Rico he is known as both Carly and Carlito. Although currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) RAW brand, Colón occasionally still performs in the World Wrestling Council (WWC) where he is a former eleven-time Universal Heavyweight Champion.

After having success in the World Wrestling Council, Carlito signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2003. During his time in WWE as Carlito, Colón has won the WWE United States Championship and the WWE Intercontinental Championship and has been part of the RAW and SmackDown! brands. He is the only wrestler to win titles on two separate debuts in WWE, and the second Puerto Rican to become WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Colón is the son of former World Wrestling Federation wrestler Carlos Colón, and the oldest of three siblings, including Eddie Colón and Stacy Colón, both of whom have performed with Carly in the World Wrestling Council. Other members of Colón's family have also been involved in the World Wrestling Council; his uncle and cousin José Colón and Orlando Colón have been involved in several angles within the company.

Carly Colón's decision to sign with World Wrestling Entertainment was a controversial one among the Puerto Rican wrestling community. He was criticized by the locals, labeled as someone who had "sold out" his Puerto Rican wrestling traditions over for the "flash and flair" of the American company. Colón spoke of this in an interview with the The Sun in which he stated "I did not care about what they thought. I've always dreamed of working for the WWE when I was young, and I took that chance when it came."

World Wrestling Council (1999-2003)
In 1999, Colón began competing in the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico as a face under the name "Carly". During his time with WWC, Carly feuded with Ray Gonzalez (Ramón Gonzalez). The two competed in several matches involving the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship, with both of them defeating their adversary in title bouts on separate occasions.

When Colón signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, he was assigned a heel character in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). During this period, Colón was also booked as a heel for WWC and was involved in an angle where he had conflicts with members of his family. This angle culminated in the company's anniversary event, Anniversario 2004, where Carly competed in a match against Eddie Colón.


Ohio Valley Wrestling (2003-2004)
In 2003, Colón signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. The company assigned him to their developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) on June 2, 2003. In OVW, Colón's character was managed by Kenny Bolin. His first performance on WWE's main roster was in a dark match that took place before the December 15, 2003 RAW tapings.

While working in OVW, Colón continued to appear in various World Wrestling Council events. In April 2004, Colón was scheduled to wrestle under his Ohio Valley gimmick against Abyss (Chris Parks) in a special event for WWC, but WWE did not grant Colón permission to perform at the event as a result of Parks' contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.


World Wrestling Entertainment

2004-2005
On October 7, 2004, Colón made his debut on SmackDown! as Carlito Caribbean Cool, whose gimmick was that he would "spit in the face" of people who were not cool. Carlito defeated John Cena for the WWE United States Championship in his first match on the main roster. Carlito was then involved in an angle where his bodyguard, Jesús (Aaron Aguilera), (kayfabe) stabbed John Cena in a nightclub. Carlito held the United States Championship for 42 days, losing it back to Cena after suffering a legitimate injury.

Carlito made his pay-per-view debut at Survivor Series 2004, where he represented "Team Angle" in an eight man tag team match against "Team Guerrero" but did not actually participate in the event after being chased out of the building by Cena.

While Carlito was recovering from an injury, he was involved in a comical angle with SmackDown!’s general manager, Theodore Long. The angle consisted of Carlito being forced to do demeaning chores around the arena, such as selling hot dogs, removing snow from parking lots with a shovel and mopping floors. As a result of these actions, Carlito created a petition in support of Long’s destitution, but was unsuccessful. On March 26, 2005, Colón performed for the first time in six months as Carlito, in a match against Eddie Colón during an event in Caguas, Puerto Rico.

Colón made his WrestleMania debut in a non-wrestling role at WrestleMania 21, in which Carlito interrupted an edition of Piper's Pit, with Stone Cold Steve Austin (Steven Anderson) as the special guest. This event led to an angle in the World Wrestling Council, where the two character’s were booked to wrestle a match on Friday Madness, a special event presented by the company where Piper defeated Carlito. Following WrestleMania, Carlito created an interview segment entitled Carlito’s Cabana.

Carlito then entered a feud with Big Show (Paul Wight) after a spot where Big Show refused an offer to work in an enforcer role for Carlito. This feud involved Carlito tricking Big Show into eating a poisoned apple, and Matt Morgan becoming Carlito's enforcer. This feud ended with Carlito defeating Big Show at Judgement Day 2005.

Carlito was drafted to World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW brand in the 2005 Draft Lottery, where he defeated Shelton Benjamin for the WWE Intercontinental Championship upon his debut match.

Towards the end of 2005 Carlito was involved in a brand rivalry which led to him discontinuing Carlito’s Cabana. The angle concluded with Carlito performing for "Team RAW" against "Team SmackDown!" in a ten man tag team match at Survivor Series 2005.


2006
In late 2005, Carlito was added to angles involving the WWE Championship. After defeating Shelton Benjamin in a New Year's Revolution 2006 qualifying match, Carlito was added to the pay-per-view's main event, the Elimination Chamber match. During this match he was one of the final two wrestlers remaining after eliminating Kane (Glen Jacobs), Chris Masters (Chris Mordetsky) and Shawn Michaels (Michael Hickenbottom), before being eliminated by John Cena.

Carlito appeared in another World Wrestling Council show that took place on March 15, 2006 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Here he defeated Tyson Tomko (Travis Tomko), and hosted an edition of Carlito's Cabana with Victor Jovica and Carlos Colón. Following this segment Carlito did a sudden face turn when he attacked a heel stable led by Rico Suave (Julio Estrada).


Colón at Tribute to the TroopsFollowing New Year’s Revolution, Carlito and Chris Masters joined forces as a tag team. Together, they competed against Kane and Big Show, for the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 22. Carlito and Masters lost when Masters accidentally attacked Carlito. Following the match, Carlito confronted Masters, igniting a feud between them. This angle came to a conclusion at Backlash 2006, where Carlito defeated Masters by using the ropes illegally to assist him.

At Vengeance 2006 Carlito fought in a Triple Threat Match against Shelton Benjamin and Johnny Nitro (John Hennigan). Nitro won the match after pulling Carlito outside of the ring and pinning him.

Following Vengeance, Carlito began a (kayfabe) relationship with Trish Stratus (Patricia Stratigias). He also engaged in a short feud with Johnny Nitro and Melina which ended after Carlito and Stratus defeated Nitro and Melina in a mixed tag team match at Saturday Night's Main Event 2006. Carlito next feuded with Randy Orton, following a spot where Orton attempted to attack Stratus during a backstage segment. The two wrestlers were booked for a match at Unforgiven 2006 and a rematch on RAW; Orton won both matches. The feud concluded in WWE’s annual event Tribute to the Troops, where Carlito won a match against Orton by pinfall. The angle involving Carlito's relationship with Trish Stratus lasted until Stratus' retirement from wrestling following Unforgiven 2006.

In the final months of 2006, Carlito competed in several matches involving the Intercontinental Championship. His involvement in this angle ended at Cyber Sunday 2006, after being elected by the fans to face Jeff Hardy for the championship. Carlito, however, lost the match. During this time period Carlito's gimmick underwent a slight change and was sold as a "ladies man", eventually getting involved in another fictional relationship with Torrie Wilson. Carlito was present at “Lockout”, a special event presented by the World Wrestling Council that took place on December 16, 2006. At this event, Carlito defeated Heidenreich to become Universal Heavyweight Champion, but was stripped of the championship minutes later.


2007

Carlito and Torrie Wilson were an on-screen couple in 2006 and 2007Carlito participated in the 2007 Royal Rumble, where he was eliminated by The Great Khali (Dalip Singh). Following the Royal Rumble, Carlito started a feud with Ric Flair (Richard Fliehr), in which Flair insulted Carlito for leaving a show early by claiming that he had no heart, no passion and was undeserving of his spot on the roster. After Carlito challenged and lost in a match with Flair, they were booked as a tag team. The team was involved in a Money in the Bank qualifying match which was declared a ‘no contest’ after The Great Khali interfered. This led to a triple threat match the following week which included and was won by Randy Orton.

Prior to the pay-per-view, Carly expressed dissatisfaction with WWE management in an interview for not having plans to book him to appear at WrestleMania 23 and criticized their methods for selecting performers to push, making reference to backstage politics.

Carlito, however, did participate in a dark match at WrestleMania, winning in a tag team match with Flair as his partner against the team of Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms. The team also lost a number one contender's match for the World Tag Team Championship against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Carlito turned on Flair after the loss. Their feud ended with a match at Judgment Day 2007, where Carlito lost to Flair by submission.

Colón appeared in the World Wrestling Council's Aniversario 2007 event where he faced Razor Ramon (Scott Hall). As a way to promote the match, Ramon claimed that Colón's character was an imitation of him, dubbing Carlito Mini Razor. Carlito defeated Ramon with his Back Stabber finisher, in a match that included an interference by Apollo (Germán Figueroa), who at the time was the company's Universal Heavyweight champion.

Following his feud with Flair he was involved in angles with The Sandman (Jim Fullington) and Triple H (Paul Levesque). He then lost to Triple H at Unforgiven 2007 in a no disqualification match were the no disqualification rule only applied to Carlito.

Trevor Murdoch

Trevor Stanley Rhodes (born September 10, 1980 [verification needed]) is an American professional wrestler, currently wrestling for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on its RAW brand under the ring name Trevor Murdoch, where he is one half of the World Tag Team Champions with Lance Cade.

Early career
Rhodes started his career training in Central States Wrestling Alliance, in the Missouri area, in 1997. Rhodes then moved on to World League Wrestling (WLW) and Harley Race's Wrestling Academy training camp in 1999 and began his wrestling career in WLW. On April 11, 2000, Rhodes won the WLW Heavyweight Championship by defeating Meng. He then made a name for himself as part of The Dupps, a hillbilly tag team consisting of kayfabe brothers Stan Dupp (Rhodes) and Bo Dupp. As a team, The Dupps wrestled in both Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). While in OVW, Rhodes teamed with Lance Cade under his real name. The team was known as TNT. Rhodes signed WWE development deal in June 2005.


World Wrestling Entertainment

2005-2006
On August 22, 2005 a promo was shown showcasing Rhodes' debut along with the returning Lance Cade. Rhodes was repackaged as Trevor Murdoch (the surname coming from his likeness to wrestling legend Dick Murdoch), and the team was simply known as Cade and Murdoch. Cade, playing a smooth-talking cowboy, while Murdoch appeared to be an angry southern trucker.

Cade and Murdoch won their debut match on the on September 5, 2005 episode of RAW. They defeated World Tag Team Champions Hurricane and Rosey in a non-title match, earning themselves a title match at Unforgiven 2005. During the match, Murdoch delivered an Elevated DDT on The Hurricane to the outside, causing The Hurricane to suffer a stinger. This allowed Cade and Murdoch to win the World Tag Team Championship. They would eventually lose their title at Taboo Tuesday 2005 to The Big Show and Kane.

On November 28, 2005 during his match against Shelton Benjamin, commentator Joey Styles acknowledged that Murdoch and Lance Cade were no longer a tag team. It was revealed on WWE Unlimited, that Trevor Murdoch set his sights on Ric Flair and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. On Unlimited, Murdoch had been reviewing movies that were, at the time, playing in theaters, such as Brokeback Mountain, King Kong, and Hostel. The first two movie reviews displayed various sexual habits, while the third showed cruelty in his past. The underlying point of all the reviews that Murdoch was trying to convey is that he believes "city folk" have quite an easy life, as opposed to his.


After breaking up with Cade, he wrestled in singles competition on Heat, normally winning most of his matches while still making small appearances on RAW. He would also have a short feud with The Heart Throbs on HEAT which involved him defeating both of them in singles action and gaining a spot in the 2006 Royal Rumble, though he did not win. He then moved on to a short feud with Goldust but was unsuccessful in beating him. He would then feud with both Goldust and his tag partner Snitsky. This led to him helping former partner Cade win his matches and hinted at the two of them reforming their team.

Cade and Murdoch later reformed their tag team, with Cade having a new look with long jet black hair. On the September 4 edition of RAW, Murdoch and Cade lost a number 1 contender's match for the World Tag Team Title at Unforgiven 2006. The Highlanders won the match when they pinned Charlie Haas who was teamed with Viscera. Murdoch and Cade then joined forces with Edge to oppose D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels).


2007
Cade and Murdoch began a feud in April with World Tag Team Champions The Hardys, leading to their title match at Backlash 2007, which The Hardys won. Cade and Murdoch suddenly gained a great deal of respect for The Hardys and began to praise their abilities. The Hardys then began an alliance with Cade and Murdoch. Despite the alliance, Cade and Murdoch faced The Hardys in a rematch at Judgement Day which The Hardys won. On the June 4 edition of RAW, Cade and Murdoch were given another shot at the World Tag Team Championship against The Hardys. Cade and Murdoch were finally successful, becoming two time World Tag Team Champions. When Cade made the pin on Jeff Hardy, Hardy's foot was on the ropes but was pushed off by Murdoch. After the match, when Matt Hardy argued with Cade and Murdoch, they attacked Matt and Jeff with the tag belts, becoming heel once again. they successfully defended their titles against The Hardys at Vengeance 2007 after Cade pinned Jeff. After that Cade & Murdoch was bound to RAW and Heat in matches against London and Kendrick, The Highlanders, and Cryme Tyme.On the July 23rd edition of RAW, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch team up with Umaga to face against John Cena and Candice in a Champions-only handicap tag team match. During the match, Cade & Murdoch trapped Candice in order to set her up against Umaga, until Jeff Hardy came out and attacked Umaga with a steel chair. After Candice left scared from the two and Umaga gone, Cade & Murdoch were left to square off against John Cena. But Cena had the upper hand and defeated them when Cena threw Cade out of the ring and gave Murdoch an FU. Murdoch, along with Cade lost the titles at a house show on September 5, 2007 to Paul London and Brian Kendrick, and won to take the titles back on the last day of the tour.
