Do wrestlers like being called by their real names by fans?

Depends on the wrestler I presume.

absolutely not. It's considered very rude.

If I had a badass name like Hardcore Holly, i'd rather be called that by some random strangers than Robert Howard.

They don't like it. They call other wrestlers by their in ring names in shoots and stuff.

"Hey Monty Sopp, do you still keep in touch with Chuck? And what's with the Torrie Wilson pants?" There's certain wrestlers that you'd know for sure won't like to be called by their real name. Billy Gunn would be a great example.

I dunno. I'd hate to call Undertaker by his ring name.
"Hey, Undertaker, I'm a big fan."
I'd prefer to call him Mr. Calaway.

I dunno. I'd hate to call Undertaker by his ring name. "Hey, Undertaker, I'm a big fan." I'd prefer to call him Mr. Calaway. He'd tape his fists if you called him that. Seriously, people have called him Undertaker (even people not affiliated with wrestling like Matt Hughes). I don't think you should EVER call them by their real name unless after calling them by their ring name they say "call me (insert real name)". Raven and Punk are two guys that get pissed about that.

I dunno. I'd hate to call Undertaker by his ring name. "Hey, Undertaker, I'm a big fan." I'd prefer to call him Mr. Calaway. And he'd prefer to punch you directly in the face. He's bled, sweat, broken bones and torn muscles to be called "the Undertaker." If you call him anything but, that's like saying "yeah, I don't respect you and what you've done enough to call you that." Basically, my rule is "never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever call a wrestler anything other than his ring name." It's just respect. I hate when people refer to wrestlers by their real names. Not only is it disrespectful, it's just plain markish. Someone on here put it brilliantly once; it's like a doctor. They bust their asses to earn the title of "Doctor," and that's what they want to be called.

When I was hanging outside the US Bank Arena after Cyber Sunday 2006 waiting for my friend to pick me up, we were waiting next to where the wrestlers were leaving (so of course there was a group of people). One guy was trying to get Edge's attention by shouting "Edge" at him, and he ignored him. He then yelled out his real name, and he looked over for a second, then went back in character and continued ignoring the fans.

Unless their ring name is their real name, no.

We don't know any of these people personally so there's no reason why we should feel compelled to call them by their real names. I wouldn't dare call Taker by his real name, or anyone else for that matter. It's just disrespectful IMO.
