That just made me laugh. Like, "Oh it's someting SCIENCE just CAN'T EXPLAIN!!! Demons, evil spirits....Oh, and maybe the brain damage from the concussions and trauma to his head like science says might've had something to do with it."
And I didn't wanna turn this into a Benoit debate...Just laughing at RVD's comments is all....

I don't know, I can sorta kinda see grasping at straws to explain something that you don't want to contemplate. No one wants to think someone they knew and respected is capable of cold blooded murder of child. I disagree with RVD here, but I can see how it'd make him feel better.

The thing is though...there were warning signs. Maybe Rob didn't know him well enough, but close freinds of Benoit did say it was obvious there was something up with him.

I wont laugh at RVD's opinion because he explains his thoughts very well.

The thing RVD is saying is that those things are JUST AS BELIEVABE AS BELIEVING THAT CHRIS BENOIT DID IT HIMSELF. We won't know where he's coming from if we didn't know Benoit.

As a firm believer in the paranormal, that makes as much, and as little sense as any other possibility.

I've got no problems with the comments RVD made because his is apparently a very spiritual person, and quite frankly what he said is really no different than someone saying the devil made him do it. It's just different spiritual beliefs than those commonly heard or practiced

A guy with drug problems, a stressful job, head injuries, a volatile marriage and a history of bottling up his emotions snaps and kills two people? I'm almost surprised Benoit didn't flip out sooner. When you look at the bigger picture, it's not that much of a surprise.

Mabey theres other guys in the company going through things almost twice as hard. Although im not saying that those factors didnt play a role in what happened, im just saying RVD proabaly only knew the benoit everyone else knew.

As much as I'm sure it's the pot talking, RVD's also in a much different spot than we Internet forum posters: he knew Benoit personally. If this is his way to cope with it, then so be it.

The Sandman in his recent shoot interview mentioned that after he talked with RVD that he believed that something, perhaps a demon was in Benoit.

One more reason why I wish I could live a day in RVD's life. Of all of the theories we've heard since then, this is by far the most original. I'm sure he knows it's bullshit but he makes a good point in saying that science can't prove that it wasn't. All I can think is god bless RVD, the goofy bastard that he is.

RVD offered a theory on the stabbing of Bruiser Brody too.
He believes a chupacabra may have done it.

To paraphrase Lance Storm; "If I can be serious for a moment..."
I do a lot of work in the paranormal research field. I'm not an expert by an means, but I tend to think I know more than the average person. This has been a hobby of mine for quite a while.
This is the first I've heard about the possibility of Demonic Possession being the blame for this awful tragedy. It's an... interesting theory, to say the least.
First and foremost a possessed individual usually shows certain types of physical changes. There is a certain change in the eyes, they tend to look "deeper". Certain parts of the face, the lips, the cheeks, will get "puffy". Ones general complexion will lighten, sometimes turn a pale blueish in color. Depending on the extent of the possession, there can be bruising, and scarring that is otherwise not explainable.
There is usually a possessed individual has problems eating. Everything tends to get thrown back up, so naturally after a while you'll see weight lose, and just a general unhealthy look. This will also tie in with the lack of complexion.
What I'm getting at is I have a hard time to believe that Chris was possessed just by the simple fact that there are probably millions of photos taken of him before he died. He didn't look any different, he hadn't lost any weight, or anything else. Now one can make the argument that someone who is possessed isn't possessed 24/7. This is true. Most people tend to slip "in and out" of possession. Meaning that while he may have seemed normal, on the road, on TV, at the bar, when he was alone he could have fought it.
I don't know. It's an interesting concept. What I just typed sounded pretty much like Chris Benoit. Everyone thought he was fine, until he was by himself. I don't know.... I really don't know.
For whatever it counts, someone who is possessed usually possesses more than just physical traits. They speak in different languages, are sometimes able to produce both human and animal type sounds, the tend to have the ability to manipulate the movement of objects. And... lots more things that I'm sure I'm forgetting about at the moment.
I really don't know. I believe in the paranormal. I believe in demonic possession. Do I think it's a possibility? Yes. Do I think its what happened. Well that, I can't say.

The Sandman in his recent shoot interview mentioned that after he talked with RVD that he believed that something, perhaps a demon was in Benoit. Sandman needs to lay off the booze for a while, and RVD needs to lay off the weed. Or, they need to share what they have been drinking and smoking with public. THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOME SHIT!!!!

Don't most Americans believe in the supernatural anyway? If they believe in God then they'd have to.
