sticking to your principles and not coming back to the man who screwed you over for a check = respectable still talking about the time you got screwed over 10 years after it happened = whiny sissy Yeah, but he didn't even say anything. There are a lot of people who aren't going to be on the show, this is just a really flimsy excuse to bash Bret Hart for no reason whatsoever. Geez, why is Greg Valentine being such a whiny sissy by not appearing on RAW??! I'm not bashing him for not showing up on RAW. I said I respect him for sticking to his guns. And you're right, that may not be the reason why he's not showing up. Maybe he's got somewhere to be or would simply rather rest. Totally understandable. And I don't expect everyone and their grandmother to show up on RAW. I actually hope that doesn't happen, cause all of a sudden you'll have a very saturated three hours, which I believe will end up watering down the quality of the show. At least this time it won't be an awards show like the 10th anniversary was (thank god)

a man dying in a stupid stunt he was never comfortable doing in front of a live crowd qualfies as a debacle But it was only a "debacle" because he died. If he had survived it would have just been just a stunt.

Anyone know where he lives these days? Canada? US? Italy? His regular life may prevent him from easily making appearances, though Foley and Piper seem to be available often.

The dude retired from wrestling. Just because someone have retired and came back doesn't mean he has to.
I also know he doesn't like the direction wrestling is going. So why would he want to be assocaited with that then?

LEAVE BRET ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geez..the guy doesn't want to do it. He doesn't have to. He's enjoying his retirement.
I used to work for Wal-Mart..if they're having an anniversary celebration..I don't feel the need to go.
A job is a job. WWE was an employer for Bret, he's not employed by them anymore, he doesn't hold any obligations to them.
