We have a poster here with that name and it always freaks me out at first when they are the only one to 'like' one of my posts.

God, there's no f***ing racial aspect here. None. It's a vet/rookie thing, not a white vet/minority rookie thing. It's a "paying dues" deal that I don't feel strongly about either way, but we don't need to shoehorn phantom racism into it. 1) yes, all races were asked to do it 2) being asked to do menial shit AS a minority is a big f***ing deal (1) is unrelated to (2) This. Very much this. 1) yes, all races were asked to do it 2) being asked to do menial shit AS a minority is a big f***ing deal (1) is unrelated to (2) He's being held to the same standard as every other rookie who comes through the company. That "standard" needs to go. Completely.

While there's only a couple dozen of their matches documented at places like wrestlingdata, etc, it's been estimated Jimmy Snuka and Metal Maniac probably had over a hundred matches against one another between '92 and '97 on the indie circuit.
And Maniac lost all but one of those; and *that* was a tag match in which his partner pinned Snuka's partner.

This belongs in the WWE section and I will moving it there momentarily.
We appreciate the effort to help enforce one of our rules, but it is not necessarily. Please leave this to us in the future, if for no other reason than to minimize conflict with other posters.
Regarding whatever was posted, if it had current-day Cornette talking in it, no, it was never going to fly here at this time.

Only if you're paying attention to the A-list characters. Even than its a little weird like Avengers just had Thor fighting Moon Knight yet in his own series he's fighting the Black Winter In terms of C and D-listers, it started going south around the time of Disassembled and has just gotten worse. There's zero editorial control over this. You can have someone show up in one book with upgraded powers and costume as a hero, show up half a year later as a villainous gang leader, and three months after that back to their original status quo. No explanations, nothing. I used to love big gatherings of lesser characters but now they're just WTF frustration.

So Madisons avatar is now the right-way up again. I'm not sure what happened but I guess it fixed itself. Story of my life.

Oh, bro...you can pretty much give up any actual continuity with DC or Marvel at this point. It's pretty much gone. Compared to DC, Marvel's continuity is still pretty alright, yes? Only if you're paying attention to the A-list characters.

Did I hear that Martel and Santana werenโt overly chummy in real life during their Strike Force days? I've heard/read varying stories on this. Generally, the consensus seems to be they didn't hate each other or anything, they just didn't really click personally and weren't thrilled to be put in a team together with little say so over the matter. I remember a DVD set I bought from Walmart called wrestling gold. It managed to compile 5 discs worth of matches from the glory days of the territories. Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard were challenging for the tag titles against The Grapplers. Gino accidentally bumps Tully off the apron, makes his own comeback and ends up pinning one of the Grapplers. Tully finally regained consciousness and did a heel turn on Gino, who he is now tag partners with. Unsure which promotion this from, or even if I have all the participants remembered correctly. I would guess early to mid-eighties Texas. This sounds like Southwest Championship Wrestling, Joe Blanchard's territory out of San Antonio. Tully and Gino as a heel duo were a major draw for the territory in the early 80's. Yeah, this isn't really an example of the thread topic, as the Dynamic Duo were solid with each other prior to that match.

They need to do what they did with Superman during Rebirth and just combine Pre-Flashpoint and nu52 timelines and just reconcile the differences. Maybe actually storyboard the universe as whole instead of letting contradict one another. But no, can't bother to put that kind of effort into today's comics. It's like DC WANTS continuity problems to be part of their brand. Oh, bro...you can pretty much give up any actual continuity with DC or Marvel at this point. It's pretty much gone.

She's hurt a lot of people, but I don't want anyone to lose their job. Write her off TV with an injury and have her train. She was called up very quickly from NXT and I think that has hurt her. If she causes a career ending injury, those people lose their job. Cut the middleman and fire the spazzy samoan lady. Please refrain from using "spazzy" and variations of it. While it's not incredibly offensive in the US, it is very much so elsewhere.
