Late 80s had Hogan, Savage, Piper, Snake Roberts, Dusty, Demolition, Hacksaw Duggan, Brutus the Barber, Warrior all at levels of overness most of today’s wrestlers would cut their left hand off to achieve. All faces at the same time? We’ll take out Savage since he turned early in 1989, but yes. These were the top babyfaces in 1989/90. And we can throw in The Hart Foundation to replace Savage. |

So many wrestlers just don't have the self-awareness to know when their time is up. I swear Matt was saying way back in 2017 when they returned to WWE that is was their final run together. They got a big tag title win at Wrestlemania then had a nice feud and dropped the titles to The Bar. Then all of a sudden it's oh now let's have a final run in AEW. If they get fired from AEW they'll want another final run in WWE or if they don't take them back then a final run in TNA. It'll never be enough. They'll just keep going until people stop booking them. There’s a fine line between guys like Ricky Morton, Billy Gunn and Sting who keep wrestling because they love it and to help out their kids/the next generation and guys like Ric Flair and Matt Hardy who will seemingly curl up and die if they’re not still being booked. |

Why would they even need a behavior clause unique to Punk? They can release him whenever they want assuming he doesn't have a guaranteed deal (and why would he given he didn't have the most leverage in this situation). I think people are thinking his WWE deal is similar to his AEW deal when it’s probably just the standard WWE deal, which means they can release him whenever they feel like it, as you said. I know people have speculated some wild things about his AEW contract but I’d imagine it did have a lot of protection for Punk, given all the drama it took to actually fire him. |

I can see why they brought him back now and not Rumble season. More time to build up buzz for him being in the new game. Punk could beat Reigns for the title on Friday and hold it past Mania and those bastards will still make Punk the preorder special edition bonus character. |

Leilani Kai would do well in this era. Her and Judy Martin had some great matches with the jumping bomb angels, and Judy Martin was very believable when beating the daylights out of her opponents. I just happened to watch some of Leilani Kai’s work in Japan a week or so ago on YouTube and she jumped up my “Most Underrated” list. Solid worker and a great brawler. |

It's a Florida prison, known for having deplorable conditions like no AC, unsanitary conditions, etc. I was gonna say a number of people in this thread are truly underselling how awful going to prison is. I don’t mean that in a “Poor Tammy is going to have a tough time”, she deserves every second of it. I mean prison is a goddamn terrible place in general. |

I don’t think she has gotten her ego boosted enough yet to come back to WWE AEW going offer her the world and they been planning things with her for months. Mercedes wants to be THE ACE not a 1B option I don’t even think Mercedes would be 1B in WWE right now. Rhea and Bianca are two of the bigger stars in the company, Becky and Charlotte are still firmly entrenched in the main event and Jade is waiting in the wings. Mercedes would likely return to help Bayley get revenge on Asuka/Io/Kairi when they turn on her if she shows up soon. Whereas in AEW, she would instantly be THE star, as you said. |
