April in Parks and Rec became much better when they did more with her then “miserable emo girl” Gerry and Donna as well. The reveal that Gerry is married to a blonde bombshell (played by Christie Brinkley), has three beautiful daughters and is the most beloved guy in his neighborhood in that Christmas episode is one of my favorite moments of that show. |

This is the Thunderdome style. It's anti-wrestling and complete trash, but enough people are too dumb to go watch a play that Roman Reigns shouting something like THIS MY CONVENIENCE STORE, FOOL! I AIN'T GIVING YOU A BAG! for 19 minutes straight while an Uso mimes severe anal bleeding on the floor is considered top level work. I saw Grey House during its brief run on Broadway in June. The acting was fine but it wasn’t really enough to lift up the story; you kept waiting for some big twist or reveal but it just kind of limped into its conclusions. Still, it was a real treat to see Laurie Metcalf and Tatiana Maslany in person. And I’ve enjoyed most of The Bloodline stuff I’ve seen as well. Granted, I only watch the big PLEs for the most part but I think they’ve nailed most of the main beats. |

What now??? Is there video of this?? I don’t think I ever knew that. Bash at the Beach 1995, cage match vs. Hogan. He's on the top rope, goes for it, realizes Hulk isn't positioned how he wants and tries to adjust to a senton and just wrecks himself slamming down on his shoulder. i.imgur.com/6E8iZIB.mp4JESUS. My booking would be: - Max goes over Cole clean. - They have a tense face off but ultimately shake hands. - As they shake hands, Punk's music hits and has a stare down at Max as Cole looks on in the background. This leads to the unification match at All Out where I have Cole throw in the towel to cost Max the match. Then he turns his back after (just like Max did to Cody) to ultimately lead to the main event of Grand Slam. Ending one of the biggest shows in wrestling history on a commercial for the next PPV? |

Nevermind a memorable defense, name me a memorable feud she had that *wasn't* for a title. Ok, how about this: name me a title feud she had that was anything close to good? Maybe Becky's failed heel turn? That's one out of 8 or so years on the roster. The other part is that she desperately needs to alter her moveset, including scaling back her moonsault of doom to the outside. That thing looks crappy far more often than not these days It's good she got rid of the Andrade double moonsault, but the front flip clothesline rarely looks good either. I think even Charlotte knew that moonsault to the outside at Summerslam whiffed by a mile because the one she hit on both Bianca and Asuka in the ring actually landed clean and properly for a change. |

One thing I learned from attending Summerslam: anyone posting things like “LA Knight is over ironically”, “Cody Rhodes is Lord Emperor of Bitchasylvania”, “The Bloodline needs to wrap up”…you are flat-out wrong. It is absolutely insane how over these men are with the crowd.

Anyway, this is now boiled down to a she-said-they-said ordeal. Whichever side you believe, you be the judge (or more likely, judge be the judge, maybe at some point.) The “they said” side apparently has witnesses to most of the alleged actions and several other former employees have already offered support and could be called as character witnesses. Lizzo also only explicitly denies the fat shaming accusations, she sidesteps the sexual stuff by just talking about how she’s open with her sexuality. |

I do like Lizzo’s music (well, her last album was pretty bleh) but around the time of the twerking at the Lakers game incident, she startex to give off that “This person got very famous very fast and it could easily slip out of their control” vibe. Seems like that may have happened here.

That said, if Tony Khan shells out for Like a Prayer, then I've no complaints. Madonna made Guy Ritchie pay the rights fees for her songs while they were married. Lord knows the price she’d charge Tony to use one of her biggest hits on a wrestling. |
