Me: I did coke with Tony Khan. My mom: You don’t know anyone named Tony Khan. Me: It was Tony Khan and Sloan Kettering. And they were snorting that shit up every day.

I don’t know if it counts as “this” generation but not doing Taker vs Cena while The Streak was still intact was a pretty big missed shot.

How did Jimmy Uso get there? I thought he wasn't allowed in Canada To quote New Jack when he appeared in the locker room at an ECW show in Canada: “Man, that water was COLD!”

-Swerve's doing the big evil heel stuff in an insanely fresher and more entertaining way, it's my personal bias but I really want Swerve in that big bad spot so seeing him kill it while MJF is treading water just has me like "OK let's speed this up to get to top villain Swerve please." Even Swerve's overall narrative is there so much more than MJF's with his storyline with Keith Lee having more story beats and character moments than like anything MJF has done so far as champion. Swerve talking with Kenny on his podcast about how the audience wants these big stories has me like "YES NOW YOU BE CHAMP AND TELL THOSE STORIES" Have they ever done an angle where one heel just simply "out-evils" another and takes the title from him? That'd put Swerve over pretty big. I want to say Sandman taking the ECW title off Shane Douglas, with Woman pretending to leave Sandman but then double-crossing the Franchise to help Sandman win. So you had a gold digger valet help a scumbag unseat a prick.

who would be the funniest person under contract with AEW to beat Ronnie Radke's ass backstage? I'm going with Vickie Guerrero Tony starts a Terry Funk Hardcore Tournament just so he can bring in Foley to congratulate the winner and give Ronnie the Bubba the Love Sponge treatment as he’s leaving.

Saraya is pitching to beat Chris Jericho. LMAO. TK got to do something about this menace. Not just beat him but “beat the shit out of him”. Like Lesnar/Cena Summerslam-style is what I’m guessing she’s envisioning. I mean, if you’re gonna pitch some wild shit, go all out I guess…

Bull Nakano (despite being women's champ when WM 11 took place) She did wrestle Alundra Blayze on RAW the following night in a tremendous match though. Probably because the debut of Rhonda Singh/Bertha Faye was more a Raw thing than a Mania moment but they couldn’t have axed one of the atrocious XI matches for another Bull/Blayze banger? Those two always worked so well together.

Foley posted a remembrance post on Instagram about how back in the day, damn near everyone made their way through Memphis at some point. Quite a legacy.

Corbin will kidnap Pharao and fail at feeding him to Cody because his oven is broken. Cody looks on his plate. Pharao awaits a thousand pats. Corbin laughs and screams: "That's right, Cody. 100 % pure Pharao steak." Pharao will turn on his back awaiting belly rubs. I love that Bossman’s casual outfit is just taking the flak jacket off.

Where does Keanu Reeves fit into this? He’s 58 years old but I don’t think they’ve ever really established John Wick’s age.

As it stands, here's where things are: 1. Honky Tonk Man - 454 2. Pedro Morales (2) - 424 3. Randy Savage - 414 4. Don Muraco (2) - 384 5. Greg Valentine - 285 6. Mr. Perfect (2) - 280 7. The Rock (2) - 264 8. Gunther - 245+WrestleMania would get him to either 295 days or 296 days, depending on what day his match would be, so he'd be Top 5 by at least a week. I'm shocked Warrior's runs aren't in the Top 8, he seemed to hold the belt forever, outside of Rude's run. Warrior’s 2 reigns were nearly identical in length, 216 and 218 days (makes sense since they both ran from Summerslam to Wrestlemania). He’s 7th on the combined time list.

Late 80’s/early 90’s John Ritter comedy Stay Tuned had a mixed tag match that was treated as a real fight, though that could have been a result of the supernatural nature of their predicament.

The Simpsons
-A very early episode had Bart & Homer sizing up a match like a legit contest. -Local Man Thinks Wrestling Is Real -Bret Hart went to see a house dressed in his wrestling gear and seemed excited about getting to fight The Shrieking Sheik outside of the arena.

Are there any examples where prom wrestling is featured, other than Aranofsky' "The Wrestler" where pro wrestling is prominently featured and shown as a work? Most examples I can think of wrestling in media shows it to be real for comedic effect. The GLOW show on Netflix was open about it being a work.
