1991 and the Slaughter feud. Seeing Hogan as a superpatriot just seemed off. Yeah, you had the Volkoff and Sheik feuds, but those had a sense of just Hogan fighting the villain of the month, this one was trying to make Hogan into Captain America. And going into later 1991 you had more interesting guys like Sid, Flair, Bret, Savage returning, Piper getting revitalized, Taker, Roberts, Hogan just didnt have the same luster.

With the range, shocked there's no Superfriends. I think they're keeping the DC stuff (aside from Krypto) on MAX.

Kind of surprised by the inclusion of Go-Bots. Hasbro got the rights once they bought Kenner (though they did allow the series to be released in full on DVD).

If I had a dime for every time an ex-wrestler released a Hogan diss track, I'd have 20 cents,,still, it's strange that it happened twice.

Even the NWO was more of an ensemble piece, at least the original 96-97 version (there were people who cheered guys like Nash, Hall, Syxx, etc but still booed Hogan).

Remember that detective who was going to solve Vince McMahon’s murder. Of course, that got dropped for obvious reasons. Similarly, Muhammad Hassan's attorney.

[ Something I’ve been very interested in lately is seeing all the territory guys that were mid card or lower that WWE was never interested in or never signed. A ton of guys who seemingly were doing well for themselves in their own territory disappeared alongside it Yeah, guys like Buzz Tyler, Eric Embry, Gary Young, Rip Oliver (though he briefly worked WWF as a jobber), Manny Fernandez (though the whole stolen valor thing may have caused them to not want the bad publicity), etc, were all decent sized territory stars who faded into obscurity aside from hardcore fans when their territories faded.

Does anyone know who exactly sang the theme song for Big Bossman? I read somewhere it was Jim Jamison (the second vocalist for Survivor and the singer of the Baywatch theme), but it sounds too "southern" to be him.

I know they only did them during the pandemic due to the lack of crowds, but considering how well-received the good ones were (ie, the boneyard match), you'd think they'd keep them around, at least occasionally.

Crush was pretty cool, but would have worked better as a singles guy. As for what to do when Ax gets injured, maybe have Barbarian and Haku beat Demolition on an SNME or Superstars (both had history with Demolition anyway), then have the Harts beat them at Summerslam, if Ax gets better by WM7, have them turn heel and win the belts back then, and then you have the original Demolition vs LOD feud that everybody wanted.

Never watched Chimp Channel, but I do remember the Monkey Movies vignettes since they usually aired after Nitro or Thunder.

The debut of TV Obscura. A side project while Greg still looks for new housing. That was actually pretty fun and interesting, wouldnt mind him doing more once things get settled for him.

While he was there since 1986, Sivi Afi as a member of the Islanders in 1988 (right after their lone squash, Tama left, Sivi left with him, and Haku became King).

We've all seen these restaurant challenges in various comedy shows where if a character can finish a giant food item (usually a steak), he/she either doesnt have to pay. Do these exist in real life, and has any FAN member ever done one?

Flash from Justice League (unlimited). At first I found him annoying, but after Divided We Fall and especially Flash and Substance (I love the scene with him and Trickster) I softened on him and now he's one of my fav characters in the show.

Also, instead of being crushed by a large woman, Cody should be knocked out via a rubber chicken (it's the kind of goofy joke you'd see in those movies, so even non-fans would like the joke).

Spinoff from the wrestling one:
Vera from Cheers Al's mom from Home Improvement
Heard their voice but never saw them: Robin Masters from Magnum PI Carlton the Doorman from Rhoda (unless you count the animated special) Ed from Police Squad (gray area, you saw his body and he occasionally did things like cry, but you never saw his face as he was too tall)

For those who woke up early on Saturday mornings, most stations would have programming before the Saturday Morning lineups, which ones do you remember? The cartoons I remember seeing were:
Transformers Super Saturday (anthology that had Inhumanoids, Bigfoot, Robotix, and Jem) Underdog Cool McCool Mr. Magoo Inhumanoids (once it became a weekly series)
As for Live action, I didnt care much, but I do remember Wonder Woman and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom (though I never really watched those, I'd sit through them if nothing else was on but didnt really pay attention, I was confused why Wild Kingdom would suddenly shill insurance near the end of the show though).
