I've got to say that lately Jericho's been on a run of formwe haven't seen since 2019-2020. He's looked fantastic as of late.

Is it fair to say that this is the biggest Ring of Honor championship match in history?

Unless there's a credible source this thread needs locked immediately. This is just stupid.

That would probably confirm that this is the darkest timeline. Maybe they should look up that exciting young David Arquette again. Now there's championship material. It would be even worse than David Arquette. The WCW title had been totally meaningless sinse the Finger Poke of Doom tm and Jeff Jarrett had only been champion for about a cup of coffee. Meanwhile Roman Reigns is the longest reigning champion in the last 34 years. In essence the title would be made meaningless by doing this.

This one has been far better than the first one, I'll say that much.

I'd say WCW. At this point the PPV has more of a must see quality given Hogan's heel turn you which you don't want to miss anything.

I've been kind of thinking he'll lose it to Owens who'll then fail the cash-in to further the Usos / Sami story. Of course that's assuming any aspect of this story will ever f***ing progress. I think at Wrestlemania it's probably going to be the Usos Vs. Zayn and Owens for the belt with (hopefully) Zayn and Owens going over.

The simplest answer I can give you is that his fights weren’t boring. Mayweather’s fights made it look like his opponents just weren’t that good to the average observer. Pacquiao’s fights to the casual fan made it look like Pacquiao was just that good.

King of the Ring just largely based on a comparison of the main events.

Ok I’m about 15 mins behind, ther was no punk bucks or Kenny in the show opening video right World title is vacant and to be decided at Wrestling Grand Slam in a tournament final and trios titles are vacant and to be decided between Best Friends and Death Triangle. Bucks, Kenny and Punk are likely suspended.

Yeah Steel needs to be arrested and fired. I'd be pressing charges at this point.

So let me see if I've got this straight:
-Something happened between CM Punk and Colt Cabana, which leads Tony Khan to decide not to renew Colt's contract (there is a credible reason to believe Punk had something to do with this). Hangman and the Young Bucks decide to stick up for their friend and convince their boss to keep him around for ROH. -Hangman decides to make a remark during a promo which lands a bit too close to home for Punk which was not previously discussed referencing the issue. -Punk injures his foot and is sent home to recover, the issue sits for about three months with nobody outside of the backstage area even knowing it exists. -Punk returns to AEW and goes into business for himself to give Hangman a receipt, turning this private matter they could have squashed when it happened into something public. -The fact that this wasn't supposed to happen gets reported and a bit of the backstory behind the incident becomes public knowledge infuriating Punk. -Punk regains the AEW title and then goes onto a media scrum to blast Cabana, the Bucks (who quite possibly didn't do anything), and Hangman (who frankly seemed like he was letting the situation roll off his back) and publicly embarrasses the company. -He is confronted backstage by the Young Bucks it gets heated, he throws a punch at them leading into a brawl where Ace Steel may or may not have bit one of the EVPs and him demanding that either you're with him or against him.
Am I missing anything?

Who are AEW's legit toughest guys? Mark Henry, Malaki Black, Miro, Ogogo, Keith Lee, Claudio, Hook and Hager are my picks to click. Apparently Kenny Omega has a 4-3 MMA record.

There is zero chance Punk ever goes back to WWE. Hell, when Punk signed with AEW, Fightful reached out to WWE about it, and their response was: "Good. He's their problem now". WWE didn't even want him on WWE Backstage, but FOX hired him on and paid him. I think if anyone would end up in WWE because of this, it would probably be The Elite if they actually do walk out. Because Tony seems like a doormat, letting Punk walk all over him like this. Of course he's going back! That's part of the obvious work! All those things that were said...the lawsuit...the staph infection, getting served the termination papers on his wedding day....all a big work. Everything is a work! Montreal Eddie Guerrero's death TieGate The sun rising every day The air being sucked into my lungs If I preemptively say something is a work, and I turn out to be right, then I can be like "Told Ya So!!!" when it happens. And believe me... I'll do it!! However, if I'm wrong, then I'll refrain from admitting as much. (I may even go back and delete my old posts.) No, you don't delete anything, you just keep them up, refrain from admitting it, and keep doing so until you either are proven right or expire! Then put it on your tombstone "Wait and See" and everybody will believe you've spoken wise last words on your tombstone and never know you were just being a stubborn Wrestle-douche.

I feel like this is a situation in which Punk is upset about the fact that the ending of a lifelong friendship keeps getting drudged up.
But being upset doesn't really excuse him for acting the way he has lately. Not reconciling with Colt I get, but his shit with Hangman I don't get. He made a comment in a promo that was a little close to the belt, but none of this shit would have become as public as it has, or escalated as much as it has if you weren't dumb enough to go into business for yourself.

the scrum opened on punk like "F*** COLT CABANA I HATE THAT DICK YOU KNOW WHAT F*** PRICKS F*** EVERYONE YOU KNOW I WOULDNT EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THIS BULLSHIT IF F***ING LOSER EVPS DIDNT LEAK BULLSHIT AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE F*** HANGMAN" this is insane That is miserable man In context he was going off on a reporter who was making these things public and I can understand his annoyance for people behind the scenes who fed this reporter, but he certainly didn't do himself any favors by going into business for himself.

So... What was the point of Moxley bodying Punk 2 weeks ago if Punk was getting his win back so quickly and clean? You do this every once in a while it's shocking. As long as it doesn't become a habit it's fine.

And they stuck the landing. What a weird PPV. It was different than AEW's normal brand.
