The Evil Dead - Love the second movie. Just could not get into the first one. It's been 10 years since I last saw it maybe I need to give it another go. I feel the complete opposite as I really don't care for Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness even thought they are beloved and I only liked the first movie. While on the subject of Bruce Campbell. I really just don't see what everyone sees in the guy. Seriously he has been in some terrible movies and his mere presence in a movie does not make it enjoyable. I honestly feel the only good thing he has ever done is the Evil Dead and maybe Bubba Ho-Tep. Other beloved movies I don't like are: Napoleon Dynamite (this movie just gave me nothing) Anything starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore The majority of Kevin Smith's films the only one I enjoyed was Clerks. Quinten Tarratino and Robert Rodriguez movies Pretty much all of the Marvel comic book superhero movies. I also agree with the posters who said they hated Crash.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.I' m sorry, I just don' t see what' s the big deal about that one. First of all, the title is very misleading considering only one character is killed with the chainsaw in the entire movie. Even for the time, there really wasn' t anything original. There was no scenario and it just... wasn' t even creepy nor scary. Seriously, the only two things that I found creepy were the grandpa moving his mouth during the dinner, revealing that h is actually alive, and Leatherface himself. But in my opinion, this movie proved that a good monster doesn' t always make a good horror movie. Also, there was no atmosphere in this movie. At all. Seriously. Two characters quickly get killed with a hammer, then the guy in a wheelchair is killed with the chainsaw, then the girl is kidnapped and somehow escapes. Very very very linear and empty movie, in my opinion. The first time I watched it I got bored and shut it off about halfway through the first scene of Leatherface dancingwith his chainsaw. On repeat veiwings it's a little better but probably just because my tastes have changed. It's definately no Halloween.

E.T
Hate this film with a passion both now and as a kid. No aliens are going to come to this earth. Get abandoned, make friends with kids, go on a bicycle trip and not be noticed by adults in the worlds worst halloween costume. It's absurd it's stupid!
Bleedin midget with a glowing finger! Damm you Spielberg and your soppy sci-fi films!
E.T vs Alien or E.T vs Predator now there's a film I'd pay to see!

Pulp Fiction. I had people pimping this movie to me like it paid them money and cleaned their house for them. Which immediately puts me off. Then, it was BORING.

I love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but man it was a let down. I remember being a kid and seeing stuff like that and thinking "man it must be intense and crazy violent with on-screen dismemberments and crazy shit like that". one of these days I'm gonna film a movie that is every bit as violent and gruesome as I used to imagine they were when I was too young to be allowed to watch them.

Dr Strangelove - I like the work of Kubrick and Peter Sellers. But I don't think this film is the comedy classic it is made out to be. The laughs are too far apart and the most of the film is shots of B52s flying. I'm glad someone else said it. That movie was terrible and I didn't laugh once. I'll pile on LOTR and Harry Potter, I'll also add most westerns, Ben Stiller movies, Will Ferrell movies, and musicals.

Sweeney Todd seems to be well liked by critics and just about everybody who's seen but I thought that movie was lame beyond belief.

Ace Ventura films. People acted like they were the funniest things ever. I thought they were just flat out stupid. Same goes for all the Adam Sandler films.
